But I disagree that NOK has the luxury of not dealing with an important issue just because they have other issues to deal with.

IF you think of ELOP as a Dr brought in to cure a sick patient, and he diagnoses the patient with cancer AND life threatening pneumonia, the doctor wouldn't say 'we'll treat the pneumonia and worry about the cancer later' because early and prompt treatment of both is needed to prevent further progression and sequelae.

In this case, the situation for NOK with IDCC could get MUCH worse really quickly if and when the CAFC RULES IN OUR FAVOR!

But we'll know better sometime from now until Friday at whatever time their call is scheduled.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. I wouldn't hold your breath on your scenario playing out. IDCC just isn't that important in the grand scheme of Nokia's problems right now. (regardless of what the bully bull cheerleaders here would like to see) Nokia can settle at any time.(albeit at higher rates) I just don't see them making it front and center enough to make it part of Friday's presentation. They've got bigger problems than IDCC at the moment imo.
