nerd86, why do you say...

"Yes the shipping agent is responsible for the invoice from the shipper. They in turn invoice the buyer for the shipping as well as the product cost. The question that came up for me was did they (Joe) bill NMC?"

Don't you understand... It makes no difference whatsoever!!!

My company has received thousands of shipments over the last 30 years. We never pay the shipping when it arrives but often pay it on our invoice when we pay for the goods we received.

Do you think for a minute, if we don't pay an invoice(with shipping on it), UPS or whoever is going to say to our supplier... "You don't have to pay it because you didn't get paid!"

Get real, it simply doesn't work that way!!!

Who ever arranged the shipping told them who was paying.

And since the shipper is going after GlobeTel, who do you think that was?

It's really as simple as that. It doesn't matter if Joe billed them or not!

But once again we see GlobeTel is so broke, they would rather face another lawsuit and judgement than pay "shipping charges"...

how desperate is that?

I wonder if shippers compare notes to make sure deadbeats like GlobeTel can't stiff all of them. Of course when those 300 Stratellites are ready, I guess they can just fly them where they need to be delivered...

One question though...

How will they get the tethers through all those intersections with telephone, electrical wires etc... crossing them?
