Could you please tell us why the military would want a "technology demonstrator" that doesn't work?

Doesn't the military, since lives depend on it, usually use proven finished equipment, that actually works, and not early prototype, "demonstrators", that don't work?

serious1, the project I was referring to, was the one that had finished, commercial strats being sold by the end of this year. I mentioned this in the post. Do you really think it is necessary to wait until Jan. 1 to point this out?

And serious1, the "overall" Strat project, is much closer to "DEATH" than where the company told us it would be...
