If your analysis is correct, that Cavanagh was one of the four who wanted to hear the case but is now thinking that he will not rule in Hikma's favor, then Amarin will win. That would be amazing. I was stunned at how great the Amarin lawyer was, in part because their lawyer was so bad when Judge Du's 2020 opinion was appealed. It definitely was not the same lawyer as that guy. What really impressed me about him was that he had a manner of speaking that absolutely crushed the faulty reasoning behind some of the questions that were posed to him and yet he explained himself in a way that was not condescending or abrasive in any way at all to the justices. There is no way they could not think but that they were hearing sensible, reasonable common-sense driven arguments.

I was a little shocked because Hikma's lawyers in the past have sounded like the confident and best prepared attorneys while Amarin's lawyers have always seemed less well prepared and a little timid. This was a total turning of the tables. I thought the government lawyer sounded like he might start crying.
