Then why did a medical device spontaneously fracture and experience the same sort of transmutation along the fracture point? How else did a bible fuse into a steel column on 911 without suffering heat damage? How was a MIT scientist able to recreate the Hutchison Effect hundreds of times? Why do Teslas still suffer the Whompy Wheel issue after over a decade of the problem being documented...even brand new ones?

Materials characterisation of bizarre and catastrophic 'burst' failure in metal by 'Hutchison Effect'

A small cross-section aluminium alloy rod was subjected to an unexplained phenomenon called the 'Hutchison Effect' which caused the rod end to 'burst' forming a bizarre, frayed failure consisting of peeled platelets 0·05 to 2 mm thick, many torn along striated surface features to form metal strands or filaments resembling a frayed rope. This unusual failure did not exhibit any unexplained metallurgical or materials phenomena when examined using a materials characterisation protocol including optical metallography, field emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy, leaving the mechanism for this bizarre failure unexplained.

This is another reason to be concerned with the Hutchison Effect and metal implants, spontaneous fracturing of the implant. This is the 2nd case ive seen for a cranial implant.

CASE SUMMARY
A 10-year-old boy presented with a 1-wk history of a tender bulge over the left temporo-parieto-occipital scalp. He had undergone a temporo-parieto-occipital titanium mesh cranioplasty 26 mo previously. He denied antecedent head trauma. Computerized tomography disclosed a perpendicular fissure in the titanium mesh, suggesting a diagnosis of spontaneous titanium mesh fracture. He underwent a second temporo-parieto-occipital cranioplasty and made an uneventful recovery. Three-dimensional modeling and finite element analyses were used to explore potential risk factors of titanium mesh fracture.

CONCLUSION
We report a case of spontaneous fracture of a titanium mesh cranioplasty implant. The current case and literature review indicate that titanium mesh implants should be well-anchored to the base of bony defects to prevent fatigue-induced fractures.

Three different sources show an increase in impurities. Two of which indicate this is caused by the Hutchison Effect.

As i posted above, here is the Spectral Analysis of an orthopedic implant that spontaneous combusted. What you'll see is significant increase in other elements at the fracture point that is not present in in the rest of the implant. Why is that? Hutchison Effect explains why.

Next image is Spectral Anaylsis of metal samples exposed to Huthison Effect by Ken Shoulers an Experimental Physicist from his presentation at MIT. The green triangles shows the amount of impurities in the samples before being exposed. The Red circles show the amounts after being exposed. Across the gambit there is more impurities over the various samples and even some elements that were not shown as present.

Lastly here is a collection of Spectral Analysis of samples from John Hutchison's home lab. Again you see the same thing, increase in impurities across several samples shown with before and after exposure. The graphs seem to be out of order.

All this supports the idea that the Hutchison Effect is causing spontaneous fracturing of metal implants. Thus Sintx Si3N4 needs to replace those metal implants whereever it can and when it cant it should coat them. Not only because its biocompatible, because its bioactive in that it helps bone growth, & its anti-infective.
In theory it should reduce the Hutchison Effect because Si3N4 is an insulator which should interfere with the electrical nature of the effect.

The artifact is to be shown to Pope Francis when he visits the National September 11 Memorial Museum. It was given to the museum by the photographer Joel Meyerowitz, whose book “Aftermath: World Trade Center Archive” is the definitive pictorial chronicle of the months following the attack.

The US was about to violate the 1972 ABM treaty in the months following this article. 911 occuring saved the US from violating the treaty!
