The company has legal requirements about communications with stockholders. Filings with the SEC and material events.

Beyond that, it is the company's discretion as to what information to share.

You may not like the amount of information the company chooses to communicate but as long as it complies with the legal requirements not a lot you can do except bitch about it. Well..... you could sell your shares and walk away.
