Thanks. It’s troubling that people seem to be expecting a major deal requiring complicated negotiations when as you have pointed out, the pics aren’t even ready yet.

It’s good to know IMEC is at least considering what light wave offers, or has in the past. The question is why has there been no company announcement of an agreement to produce even just a a prototype product? Is it because the pic isn’t ready or some other aspect doesn’t meet their standards? That doesn’t require negotiations that take months and months. It’s just an agreement to get started.

And while I have your attention, do you think if they really are only working with one foundry that has been able to produce 200 mm wafers with the modulators that might be a problem for the transceiver companies? I would think it probably would not just to get started, but that they would want to see multiple manufacturers having the ability before they get too far along
