I'm confident that both brands will accomplish any task assigned to them with aplomb....fortunately for contemporary home cooks (you know, the ones that really matter) there are many enameled cast iron pieces that will perform admirably and consistently, for many years of frequent use, priced less than a hundred bucks (check Amazon). So the reasons to pay extortionate prices for luxury names escape me.
