It's more important to improve the Mets offense. 27th out of 30 in the league last year, down almost one run per game from 2020. A better offense would allow middle tier pitchers with eras around 4 to have some success. Might not help much in the post season where you need aces but they could go for an ace at the trade deadline and not be married to him for years at huge dollars. Let's start with Bryant
