Who is in our rotation right now. We have degromm who is coming off and injury, we have Carrasco who I strongly believe will bounce back, but he wasn't good last year. We have walker who struggled in the 2nd half, but I think that was because of much more work than he had in the previous three year.
Than what Megill and Peterson, with No depth whatsoever. That is a horrible plan. They need megill and peterson to be the depth in my opinion. Hence they need two starters.
As for offense I think Mcneil is going to bounce back. I think if Dom is in left, without the finger issue all year which in my opinion affect his bat, he will bounce back offensively. I have to believe Lindor will have a much better 2022. Nimmo is an underrated bat in his own right. Alonso is one of the better power bats in baseball.
But we do need multiple bats, one bat isn't gonna help, and 1 pitcher isn't gonna help.
Either trade degromm in my opinion and start the rebuild.
Or go for it. And sign two starting pitchers. Multiple Bullpen arms, and Multiple bats.
There is no in between that is where you win 80 games and not be bad enough to get good, and not good enough to be relevant in my opinion.
