"I have really lost just about all sympathy for those that don't bother to do any basic DD whatsoever before "investing". Especially because it is those people who fuel the fraud machine. Without them willing to throw their money away by handing it over to the fraud artists, securities fraud would be much less of a problem.

It isn't easy to help those who won't help themselves. I understand when a person makes a mistake once, but humans are supposed to learn from their mistakes. It blows my mind that it seems the same people are making the same mistakes over and over and over."

As I've stated here many times, the same people who blow their munny in penyscams will, if 'rescued' from pennyscams, simply blow that same munny in other bullshit gett-poor-kwik schemes: Ponzi schemes, junk real estate scams, gambling, lotto tickets, etc.

One cannot fix the persistently stoopid who will nott do DD or learn from Miss Steaks. The world is flush with fooles. This is really the ultimate failing of democracies (see, e.g., In re: Idiocracy). It is the reason for the Debt Cycle and the reason why all fiat currencies debase themselves to worthlessnessitude. Always. Everywhere. Including here (coming soon).

Wise and smart people are always handicapped by the ignorant. Always have been, and prolly always will.
