Several thoughts immediately come to mind. Here's one:

the same people who blow their munny in penyscams will, if 'rescued' from pennyscams, simply blow that same munny in other bullshit gett-poor-kwik schemes: Ponzi schemes, junk real estate scams, gambling, lotto tickets, etc.

There's an old saying you're surely familiar with: Take all the world's money, evenly divide it among everyone, and it won't be long before it returns to where it was.

Here's another I've always told my kids, that has nothing to do w/ anything...Take all the world's problems, put them in a hat, and hope you get your OWN problems back when you reach in the hat.
