There supposedly common here (near JFK airport) but that's the only one I've ever seen. There's not much forest in this area and a lot of salt marsh. So variety of birds is somewhat limited. Eastern bluebird is the NY state bird. I've never seen one here

It's nice to have a lot of horsepower in the engine room but you need some in the wheelhouse too.
