First off, your first statement may be completely dead on. And if Scott decided to change the name then what for? It's already been deregistered under the form 15, 10 years ago. It would follow that they want to do something with the shell or why bother with the name change on a defunct ticker, yes?
Second, if you read all my posts, you would know that I have never said that the Scott Group is merging in. I offered multiple scenarios ranging from Transbotics, to Scott Subsidiaries, to Scott itself. But as already implied, we don't know just yet.
The important things here are that Scott owns Transbotics and there has been a name change of the ticker that Transbotics traded under. Add in that this ticker has a 5 million float. And consider that you have a compelling reason to believe that anything at all that comes in will most likely involve some kind of Scott Company or Companies.
And I appreciate the honest conversation. I am making no assumptions, just excited to hear the details if and when they come out.
