The smaller ask went down to .44, now .43, while the stronger bid at .40 moved to .41.
Is this the time to BUY?
I'm not pumping, but seriously considering taking a position here...
Maybe MM's are trying to keep it down before the release of the 10K next week? Or are some profit takers merely over anxious to take some off the table, while most hopeful speculators are spent out and/or holding the bag presently?
TTEG.OB continues steady if temporarily quiet progress
on the huge prospect of the most efficient heavy transport engine of the near future, which will burn any petro or bio fuel, 30% more efficiently than any on the road today.
What could change soon is the "quiet" nature of the progress.
Testing and modification on the current 540HP prototype gets closer to achieving optimal rpms which should prove the engine's viability.
A financing arrangement could become liquid soon which will open the comany up to a whole new class of investors and change the power play around this disruptive technology.
See more at the company's site turbinetruckengines.com, and see posts at the company message boards here and at Yahoo and RagingBull.
Truck Engine burning ANY fuel gets closer
to proving it's viability in tests proceeding on the current 540 horsepower prototype.
This engine could be the exciting future of heavy transport, burning any petro or bio-fuel, including ethanol and hydrogen, 30% more efficiently than anything on the road today.
Rpms in initial tests and continuing modifications on the protype get closer to optimal levels which should insure the success of this exciting disruptive technology.
The first installment of a major financing arrangement could become liquid soon, giving the company all the dough it needs to continue, and completely changing the power play around what I expect to be stiff competition to control or buy out this technology.

Here's a more long winded exposition I've been passing around this holiday weekend. Enjoy (the weekend, at least, if not the idea of the efficient green fuel-burning heavy transport engine iof the future)!
Turbine Truck Engine's (TTEG.OB) detonation chamber gas turbine engine (DCGT) gets closer every day to filling a critical niche for sustainable world economies. This engine will burn ANY petro or bio-fuel, perhaps 30 % more efficiently than any engine out there. This efficiency will only be increased by other electric hybrid assist "solutions" being evolved like that touted by the Peterbilt, Eaton, Wal-Mart group.
Developments with the current 540HP version of the engine, stock trading, and the company's business plan (including an impending major finance package) could make this an ideal time to take a calculated risk with a bid for stock at current bottomed flatling share price levels.
Now more than ever the company is ready to execute testing and development of multiple prototypes of it's most efficient engine, which will have other applications, including oil field pipeline pumping, electric power generation, and use in various military and heavy equipment vehicles.
Remaining knowledgeable and brave investors are those who won't be fooled by any more market maker tactics, and only feel sorry for those who may occasionally dump their shares out of irrational fear and doubt.
Everything is looking very good, IMO, with both testing/modification on the current 540HP prototype, and with company management/finance.
See pictures of the current prototype and read about how it works on the company's website. Notice the three "modules" of the engine each composed of one blower (the three blue units on top), two 15" turbine wheels, and four detonation chambers.
Recent test runs on the first module were very good, close to the optimal rpms which will 100% insure unprecedented performance and the flourishing success of this engine! The level that has been already achieved in the early adjustments on this very first high HP engine prototype would still make it a competitive alternative, IMO.
After some more modifications on the first module to improve its performance from good to excellent, the same changes will be implemented on the other two and all three will be linked to enable the most exciting full engine tests.
On the financial side, I believe the company has been making preparations for and getting close to receiving the first installment of the $5 million financing. This will change the power play and interest in the stock and I think the share price will be pushed up and well supported by an ever widening class of investors who will be swarming around this disruptive technology.
The lenders themselves will want the share price to go up and may use their connections to promote and support it. They have the option to convert the debt to stock, at 70% of the share price, but not until two years down the road. The company could exercise the option to allow them to convert sooner, but it would only be in there interest to do so when the share price reaches 3 bucks or more!
As positive testing evolves and the retail stampede could drive the share price over two dollars very quickly, the company will also be in a position to issue stock in public offerings and private placements at much higher prices than present levels. The money raised could both go to pay down the financing debt and/or fund manufacturing and such.
It's my belief before all this goes too far, little TTEG will be scooped up.
While investors should profit handsomely, let's hope this much needed technology never gets "shelved."
TTEG.OB continues quiet but unstoppable progress
on its revolutionary heavy transport engine of the near future.
Testing and modification on the 540HP version of the detonation chamber gas turbine engine are getting it to spin closer and closer to optimal rpms. The first installment of major financing arrangement could also become liquid soon, very much changing the the power play around this exciting development which, IMO, soon many in the tansport and energy sectors will soon want to control or buy.
See DD posted on company sites here and at Yahoo and RagingBull.
TTEG.OB should be attracting attention
as the huge prospect of its most efficient heavy transport engine gets closer every day to becoming a reality.
Rpms in tests on the 540HP get closer to optimal levels to insure success, while the first installment of major financing arrangement ($5 million) is about to become liquid.
See DD on company message boards here and at Yahoo and RagingBull sites.
Look for TTEG.OB volume to pick up
any day in the next week or two as the company get's closer to optimal rpms in engine testing and a major financing arrangement becomes liquid.

Unstoppable progress on the efficient DCGT transport engine:
Sustainable economies require a more economical and enviro-friendly means of moving loads of commodities and goods. The present mode of diesel transport is too costly. Fuel has become too expensive, atmospheric CO2 levels MUST be quelled, and particulate matter in the atmosphere continues to hospitalize people with respiratory problems.
TTEG's detonation chamber gas turbine engine gets closer every day to filling a critical niche in the solution of calming our world the world economy into something manageable. This engine will burn ANY petro or bio-fuel, perhaps 30 % more efficiently than any other engine out there.
After a major end of '06 shakeout, and some early '07 wild swings, the price is sitting just below where the majority of the cheapest restricted stock was issued.

Is now the time to add or buy stock?
15 May 10QSB between the lines
as I see it :
The business plan is consistent and ready to move forward, along with the expected modification and continued development of the current prototype (which, I believe, is getting closer to spinning at optimal rpms in ongoing tests and adjustments on one of three modules which compose the engine).
The good news I read in the report is the expectation $5 million line of credit becoming liquid from the German bank Wertpapier und handelskasse von 1857* anytime now, since we are in second quarter of which the report states this agreement should be finalized.
This funding would not make it imperative for the company to sell common stock at undesirable prices. Rather, this funding will make it possible to carry out all the company's building and testing for years, if necessary, and as positive testing results proceeds, to issue common stock at desirable prices. We would also see, i.e., the previously issued options and warrants (listed at the bottom of the report) of the report go for the average price of 85 cents, followed by private placements and secondary offerings at yet higher prices.** Proceeds from these activities both go to continue road tests, initiate manufacuring, if necessary, and pay down the $5 million line of credit.
This engine might be selling for other uses such as in the oil fields and to the military ("proceeds from sub-licensing agreements")** before satisfying the DOT requirements enable truck engine sales, providing further funding.
TTE has their act together with this business plan in place, giving themselves the options to rock the world with the DCGT.
There's always the possibility of breakthrough news about a joint venture partner or even an all-out buyout.***
*Instead, the Company has signed a term sheet for a $5,000,000 line of credit with Wertpapier und handelskasse von 1857. The Company anticipates finalizing this agreement during the second quarter and accessing the line over the coming 12 month period to fund continued engine development and to provide additional operating expense coverage. The Line will bear interest at the lower of 8% per annum or Libor +3% at the time of each draw. Interest is payable semi-annually in arrears. The Lender has the option to convert in part or full the loan amount into equity, up to 35% anytime after the first 24 months, unless repaid. Conversion would be based on 70% of the average bid price for the 7 trading days preceding the conversion.
**The Company intends to finance our future development activities and working capital needs largely from the sale of public equity securities with additional funding from a private placement or secondary offering and other traditional financing sources, including term notes and proceeds from sub-licensing agreements until such time that funds provided by operations are sufficient to fund working capital requirements
***The Company is continuing to search for a Joint Venture partner to manufacture and produce the final engine for sale. To date the Company has not entered into any agreements with any manufactures, but is looking to develop such a relationship before the end of the 2007 fiscal year. The Company's ideal Joint Venture partner will provide the engineering support and manufacturing facilities to take the engine from prototype, through vehicle testing, government testing and into the market.
I expect there will be good news reported
very soon (days to a week and days) about the ongoing work in the demo center.
Looks like Citibank's (SBSH) bid at .46 got eaten up, mostly through those 5-11K distribution trades which IMO came primarily from other market makers. I think it's possible (no public accusation, and I hope I'm wrong) whoever was buying through SBSH could have in part or whole been covering a naked short. They were on the offer a lot in days following the last (READ LAST, NO MORE) stock promotion which pumped the price to .89.
This stock, like the engine, will burn on it's own ingenious integrity and beautiful simplicity. It is appealing to me as an investment because the engine is not really a threat to the oil establishment, and hence I don't think they've been or will be compelled to squash it. The engine might even be used to pump oil in the fields, for better or worse. That is really a possible application on the table for the DCGT, because of its a sure start in cold weather and it's ability to burn (more efficiently than any other turbine engine in the world) gases on hand at drilling sites.
This could be the the time to buy and/or add, right before what should be a period of the best news of substance TTEG has had to boast of ever.
Of course how this stock is valued at this time is a mystery to all. One thing for certain is that the tradable float is small and if successful, the potential of this engine will eventually render volatility in the pennies meaningless.
Imagine what will happen when all the green investors out there hear about successful tests on a heavy duty engine which will burn any and all petro and bio fuels 30% more efficiently.
Market makers can't get enough shares!!!
Got enough TTEG?
Until the engine is running,
and when that news leaks out to in the know buyers, be sure market forces continue to demonstrate their stranglehold on the stock.
TTEG hits another short term bottom before news
on engine startup and venture capital
that could propel the stock on a more permanent uptrend, IMO.
The currentt 540hp version of the engine is in the demonstration facility, undergoing installation of ignition and fuel injection systems.
This is the heavy transport engine of the near future which can burn any and all fuels 30% more efficiently than anything out there.
Applications also exist in oil fields, miltary tanks, electric power geneation and ocean transport.
Market makers announce their desperation for stock with a 500 share one penny down tick at the .44 bid this morning.
Buy and hold.
see turbinetruckengines.com
GRSR is also an excellent play for major medium to long term profits as a vastly undervalued international solar company with major sales in the millions to its credit.
TTEG news on engine startup and venture capital
becoming liquid could emerge any time now.
The stock price has seen wild swings and has reached another short term bottom IMO. The 500 share one penny down tick trade at the bid to me announces the market maker's desperation to collect shares.
Ignition and fuel injection systems are currently being installed on the new 540hp engine in the company's recently set up demonstration facility.
The engine should rock the transportation world, IMO. There are also applications in oil fields, electric power generation, military tanks, and eventually ocean liner transport.
This may be a longer term play than most here are looking for. But the possible entry price in the .40's sets up even a possible medium term swing trade for those inclined.
see turbinetruckengines.com
There's a tentative manufacturing agreement with CON-WAY
that's public information. You can look it up in the archived press releases and SEC documents.
The ball is in TTEG's court to prove the viability of the engine. CNW says "sounds like a potential winner, so let's see the adequate prototype and if it will really work for us."
CNW can be outbid for the manufacturing agreement. Virtually every major trucking company has contacted TTEG. No doubt other interests are on the wings watching and awaiting test results. In reality, the CNW is just one of many potential scenarios for the engine's manufacture and utilization, IMO.
Soon enough it could be open season bidding wars on the engine which will rock the transportation world.
500 shares this morning at .44!!! Are market makers announcing that they need shares or what?
I'm not (yet) an expert on the DCGT -
the Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine Engine, but I hope I can answer your questions sufficiently for us to begin more dialogue in this direction:
1) Yes. The turbine spins at high revolutions, somethng like 6-7000 rpm. A gear reduction system and a torque conveter system will provide more than enough torque to pull 80,000 lbs. over mountain passes. It's thought that the DCGT, mainly due to its low friction and high rpm capability, will generate superior torque.
2) There's no need to modify the engine size to fit in a truck. Fit is no big issue, though I don't and must know the precise dimensions. This will evolve in testing as, for instance, work needs to be done routing the exhaust system and fitting air blowers, generator belts, etc.
Speaking of dimensions, how about the fact that the weight of the 540 DCGT is about 900 lbs. and a comparable 540hp diesel engine weighs over 5,000 lbs. dry weight. Add oil and coolant to the diesel, which the turbine engine doesn't need, and it weighs more. How about building a turbine engine that approaches the weight of a diesel engine? I wonder how much more powerful the DCGT is weight for weight!
The weight savings of the turbine engine, of course, translates into either additional power or more revenue for a trucker able to carry more gross weight.
3) Technology already exists for starting and fuel injection. I'd like to find out more about how various flex fuel options are handled, as bio-diesel has a much heavier and sticky consistency than ethanol or gasoline.
Heating and A/C in trucking is going the way of seperate electric powered units which do not necessarily require the engine to run while operating. The reason for this is that there will be laws against engine idling, at truck stops for instance, to reduce emissions. This type of system will be integrated with the DCGT's advanced electrical system.
Another interesting electrical feature will be the use of reverse charge braking along the drive shaft to complement disc/hub braking. Excuse me if you know this but for the benefit of anyone who doesn't, all trucks need some kind of engine brake, typically compression or "jake" (named after the inventor Jacobson) brake. Relying on downshifting and hub brakes can be very dangerous while descending long steep grades with heavy loads. The more any kind of brake pad is applied under high friction stress the hotter it gets, until they are so hot they won't hold, with a shear glazed coating effect. That's one reason why we see those runaway truck ramps, the other is the the truck hopelessly out of gear! Typical compression brakes work by partially closing the exhaust valves, creating air flow resistance back pushing the pistons, and that loud groaning sound you've heard from decelerating trucks. There are'nt such exhaust valves on the DCGT (though I wonder if some kind compression brake could still be evolved, Mr. Scraggs?).
The planned solution will be the use of the electrical drive shaft brake assist already in use on some trucks toady. Excuse me for tis digression. I'm kind of into engine braking as all the motorcoaches I drive for a living have compression brakes on mid 400 range horpower diesel engines. "My" most regularly bus has a recently rebuilt Cummins diesel engine.
Of course the key patented electrical feature which makes Mr. Scraggs invention so revolutionary is the isothermal electromagnetic combustion process. This unique system sends the plasma arc charge through the entire space of the combustion chamber's air-fuel mixture, burning it more completely and powerfully.
Market makers don't understand of have the attention span for all this. Or they just say "so what," let's bring the share price back down to the fifties. To which I respond, "so what, drop it low enough and make me buy more."
Isn't life tedious sometimes?
I'm tired. Please excuse some poor writing and typos. Over 500 miles today. Back across the State of Oregon tomorrow. It's not so bad. I see my big horn sheep friends regularly and look forward to occasional glimpse of antelope. No market makers out there.
Mid to late April is the target time to open the demonstration facility so people can observe the latest running prototype of the revolutionary heavy transport engine.
Other developments are there which haven't been made public yet, which we can look forward to hearing about at the company's discretion. It's my feling that the management, while concerned for shareholders, as they all are themselves major shareholders, are presently more concerned with making the reality come true and getting the show on the road than they are about trickling the news out to keep the pps healthy. Ceo Rouse, a former builder himself, is in set-up and construction mode at the demo facility, having spent maybe three hours in the office this week according to office employee in IR rep. Patterson.
In the meantime, copley, I respect your sentiment of patience for a low entry, along with your sincere interest and hopes for the company.
Today is one of those days long term investors for now must endure. The MM manipulation is persistant and will continue until there is more definately known progress and more consistant buying volume from broader investor interest, as you have suggested. I also feel that there is lots of dough watching and waiting for the signal to plow in.
It's my feeling that these days of little news before potentially major developments becoming public are when the MM's will squeeze out what they can, and when brave investors will take advantage of the weakness.
It's a nervous time which market forces use to capitalize on the fear of the unknown in the deafening silence, while others can't stand it, or simply lose interest and bail.
My humble recommendation is to take prudent chunks of stock here, saving ammo for if it does go lower.
There is nothing wrong, to my knowledge. What I do know is that the committed hard work goes on according to plan.
Good luck.
Most of the uncommitted have bailed.
The mid fifties ask got taken out and is gone for now. After .62 most of the market makers sit at .91. They tried to take the scant selling into the forties and managed a couple of hits, amongst themselves perhaps, at .49.
I'm waiting for single digits also, when the stock goes over a buck, when big money starts goobling up shares over One Dollar, before the possible next round of shares issued at $1.50. It's in the SEC reports. If you wait too long, you too will have to buy in the single digit dollars.
CEO Rouse is spending most of his time at the demonstration facility, where a construction crew is also working.
The company sagely holds back on news, as the plan evolves. News of the engine firing up and going into testing should rekindle the buying interest of the "show me" investors. This and the finalization of the $5 million financing will allow all sorts of investment action
If there is a big problem, of course the pps could go down below 10 cents. There's the risk. But as long as this effort keeps moving forward, bottom feeders already missed the opportunity sub .40 last December. For now, in this waiting period standoff, the bottom beggars got 50 cent. Nobody bought any restricted shares for less.
In your dreams.
They already took it down to .30 before Christmas.
Little do you know about the eyes on this one.
Looks like the fake panic is over.
Who think's it's going "much lower," is that you, old sage trader?
I see a technical bounce to coincide with moving of engine to the testing facility.
They just can't scare out much more cheap stock anymore without giving too much away. Citibank pulled out 55 cent scaredown ask right away after someone hit it for 600 shares. Now it's SALI's turn at .56 to hold it down for HILL's notched up bid at .54.
Gentlemen, start your engine.
Free trading shares in the fifties are golden, IMO.
It may very well go lower, but not "much" lower I don't think. There is much more diverse interest in this company now, and they are on the cusp of really doing something with this latest version of Scragg's invention.
I also positively agree that we will see it rocket to new heights once testing is under way and more people come in. I think there are very large interests watching and ready move in. Some even have to wait until it moves over a dollar.
AENS is walking back down to the 52 week low area again.
Will it go lower and test .89?
I picked up a small chunk of GRSR at .67. I may add as I learn more. Thanks.
TTEG is a very interesting buy at cuurent prices. Market makers are creating an artificial panic.
"let them do what they want with the stock,
we're building an engine," says a company insider.
He hopes the engine isn't "too good." somebody could buy them out and shelve the project, insuring the steady line of profits flowing from comparatively inefficient, particulate belching diesel technology.
TTE isn't interested in money alone. They have a product which can make a substantial, much needed contribution to the sustainable transport infrastructure of the new Enviro-Age. They want to see it happen, for our sake. Let's hope it isn't too too good right away, so it isn't squelched to literal death by greed (no harm to shareholders' investments if that happens, only to the world they live in).
The new engine pieces have been machined with tighter tolerances, built to generate more power with more a sophisticated detonation system and air blowers. Inventor Scraggs has done this a few times already. This time it's bigger, tighter, much more refined and sleek.
It could be moved into the new demo facility later this week. Preliminary testing could very well start making waves very soon. A few more will be built after intial tests for the extensive duration and stress/load tests and such. By that time you'll wish you'd bought now.
Only brave, visionary investors need buy, those who are willing to hold out for a big winner, those who want to ride this one into a sustainable future.
Free trading shares bought in the fifties now could very well be a very great blessing later.
Some market makers might actually know this. Let them create their artificial panic, play their game and BUY.
Yeahya, move it lower boys.
Penny changes here are peanuts before a possible move to 3-4 bucks by year's end.
Not to act like a know it all, but I suggested to you all this could happen. Is it time to buy yet? I think low fifties is a possible nice score.
no guarantees
I've been interested and have traded AENS and now looks like some kind of Double (triple) bottom and another good time to buy?
What more do you know about GRSR to help my DD. I'm very interested.
I'm also very interested and invested in TTEG, which now sits in an attractive buying area. They will be moving their revolutionary heavy transport engine prototype into their new demonstration facility this week. I'm happy to share more info if you like.
Thanks for starting this board.
They're all lined up to buy in the .50's, and they'll probably trade 'em back and forth just like they did in the .80's.
What about that "out of sequence" trade for 2500 shares at .58 toward the end of the session? (see depth/level II at otcbb.com). They got that retail bid out of the way. I know the buyer. He got 1940 shares, the MM kept the other 560. NITE can be nice. But they all want to buy lower. Who's selling?
Bids of at least 2500 in line with them through the mid .50's should score stock for enterprising buyers the week of March 12. That's if someone else doesn't come in and take them all out with a good spanking. Until then they'll kick the pps around and you'll have to wake up to their game.
They're trying to shake out those who bought in the last stock promotion.
The engine development is moving forward.
Eventually we're moving out, fast, carrying heavy loads, over the road, all over the world.
Get it now!? Load the truck? Your call.
Big 10-4
How low can they work it this time?
Play the Market maker game if you want to invest in this company. These are the times to buy. The scare ask at .62 tempted me for another chunk; thanks guys. I'm waiting to see if they'll be nice enough to push it lower before buying more. They want to bust it through .60 no doubt, and could trying to shake out the last of the buyers in the recent stock promotion/market maker 230,000 share field day.
Never any guarantees in the stock market, but this is starting to look like another buy opportunity, before the next round of news comes out, which could be substantial going into April.
A strategy could be to build up a position buying stock in blocks on this push down, and off the bounce. Can they bust it through .60 without giving too much stock away?
There's no material reason for the down trend other than what happens to this stock when volume dries up.
This could also be manipulation to arrange after hours block trades as we've seen already this year.
Good luck.
About 13 million issued. CEO Rouse owns about 5, and the inventor Robert Scragg of Alpha Engines owns about 5. Many are holding restricted shares, and/or tightly held long term positions for when the company is bought for 15-20 bucks a share. Common knowledge. All this short term volatility is to drive little money people like us crazy so we sell cheap.
My educated and semi-informed guestimate is that somewhere between 1-2 million shares are trading in the float. I wouldn't doubt that there has been some naked selling.
My apologies to market makers and others for some of my rude comments about them soiling this board.
I respect all regardless of whatever worldly situation we find ourselves in. Even people who kick TTEG stock around for a living have soul.
If we see the market makers game, if we can't beat them or buy out all their stock, then then we have to intuit their game, and simultaneously consider the company's progress, potential news and likely movement of the stock.
Let them bring it down low enough for another good buy or addition to your position. Let them try to depress the pps with a scare down ask in the .60's.
Go ahead, make the day for those ready and waiting with drooling fangs to pounce, like the wolf panting at .67 presently.
It's a matter of time before some serious money will come in here and when some exciting news comes out.
Exhaust manifolds are coming along and an ignition system has yet to be hooked up. Everything is moving forward the way any revolutionary invention should be.
They did it again. I just came back to a computer to see that some trades went through as low as .70, right past my 2000 share bid at .72, still sitting there waiting for them to plop down the end of session ask there.
They know who I am, and are waiting to see what I'm going to do about it. As they read these posts surely they'll get a good laugh.
Some things never change, except the world of transportation once the DCGT is on the road.
I think you really mean "badder than thou," but I'm with you on the feeling of not stroking them.
The power and influence of a heavy transport engine that will burn any fuel 30% more efficiently than anything out there, and those working to make it a reality, and those believers and investors who stand behind it, are far and away more holier than any geek on some tweeked out power trip manipulating it's share price in the hopes of getting a promotion.
Except it does piss them off when real buyers take out their fake ceiling asks like the one at .72 this morning!
Notice how they take turns. Citicorp was on it yesterday I believe (I think because there relatively new on this one they've had to pay their dues on that dirty job for a while). UBSS was back on it this morning.
I reported their shady trading to the SEC one time. Back when the the stock sometimes didn't trade at all on a given day, I was the first to enter a bid at the minimum entry size of 2500 shares. Some one hit it but I didn't get the shares. The MM's decided also it was a desirable price to buy at so they kept the shares for themselves. Of course nothing came of the complaint, and even the compliance official at Scottrade took the side of the market makers, who said they said there were other bids in there at the time (which IMO was b.s., even though, I was the first in que). They're all in it together to screw us. That day the spread was .60 - .97. They had hit the low bid with a bogus 150 share trade, so I entered mine at .70. They close trading that day with another impressive trade of 150 shares at .97. I think they had college boys in there learning how to play market maker.
Hang in there. When the right buyers show up they're going to come in and give this corrupt gang of wannabe mafioso's a major spanking on there soft pale butts.
I'm on probation at Scottrade. If I call a market maker again and they find out about it they said they'll close my account down. Can someone else can pick up the slack for me? Better yet leave them alone and let them get burned by surprise. They like it when they know people are pissed off.
It's very possible yesterday's high volume short term top involved lots of trading back and forth between these notorious market makers, that's why the pps didn't go anywhere. I'm sure they both sold and short short, if necessary, to anyone buying.
There's no guarantee, especially given what looks like deteriorating market conditions, they won't try to take it lower, before it invevitably goes higher, of course. If nobody's buying volume, expect them to trade back and forth on the way down, covering each others shorts.
I've been holding and watching them do this since last summer. I went with this thing from similar level down to 30 cents and back here fellas. I've gained a lot back after I thought I was going to lose it all.
I cringe seeing citicorp in there now. They'll no doubt try to do it all over again. Only this time the engine is close to testing and there are sources of big money already vested and others waiting to pounce. I'm still holding free trading shares, but only 20% of what I had a few weeks back, my ace in the hole being a nice bunch of restricted shares I got for consulting work in the dark days of the long shakeout of late '06. It may take time for this to really move out anyway. There's no guarantee testing on the current protype will go smoothly, although I hope and expect it will.
I might be looking to buy more if it moves lower, or consolidates here for a while, something the stock has never really done.
But there could very well be news and a pop tomorrow.
I'm just jaded and appalled that these market makers, with power given by their bosses sending their gonads in an uproar, can kick the pps around like a piece of discared cellophane. For the time being I'd rather not have so much to do with them, so I don't think such negative thoughts about this lame telephone circle gang of lackies for the rich.
Good luck. The engine is much needed and a great hope, and CEO Mike Rouse is a great guy. Give him a call if you haven't already.
It's very cool to find an interested community here!
The big buyer decides to call it quits for the day (I think it's only barely begun), the market makers get on the phone and decide to have some fun, and they drop the price on low volume amongst themselves, or who knows what happened to close in the seventies.
I see Citibank is in the game. They were dropping the ask toward the end of the session. I'm surprised more people didn't have the gonads to hit their .72 cent ask, since they were also on the bid with others at .70.
This engine could be a threat to some people with interests in diesel engines and just don't want to see the share price and business plan go forward. Maybe someone like that is trying to hold the pps down. This is getting very interesting.
Any ideas on this power play action?
ARCA has at least a psychological cap on it today with the 6,000 share ask showing at .99. Maybe we're supposed to think they're selling it short at that price.
Does everyone have level II like I don't, or have you gone, like I must to otcbb.com to see the list of market makers and the bid-asks? Plug in TTEG of cours and then look chose market depth/level II from the little drop down menu.
It's rare that they show any size over the minumum amount required, that would be 2500 below 1.01.
Any thoughts?
The .85 ask was just bought out, and the bid's creeping up.
I had thought like you, no big move till next week, but I like the way the action is starting now.
CEO Rouse is in Vero Beach. That's where he goes to meet with the bankers who are hopefully going to finalize the $5 million financing arrangement. I repeat that IMO the buying and those in the know on the line of funding could be related.
When all the money is in place for all the building and testing, Look out!!
The next two test engines will be built after initial testing on the current prototype which as we know is close to completion.
Good luck all.
Yes, it was good to former resistance at .75 hold as support.
News on finalizing the $5 million financing arrangement will be very very good. IMO the volume spike we saw on no news yesterday could have been in anticipation of this about to happen soon.
TTEG is under careful accumulation after recovery. MM bids creeping up.
The next round of news will start next week, IMO. January could be ver big for this promising company.
TTEG moving up under careful accumulation.
When news comes out next week look for breakout and wild swings, IMO.
TTEG continues bounce off 52 week low. News, long awaited, on completion of parts machining and casting before assembly of the 540 horesepower version of its innovative engine, has moved the pps from the low of .30 to the current spread of .45 - .50.
The pps still sits below the 50DMA of .57 and way off the 200DMA of 1.08.
More news starting next week could bring volume and expected capital influx.
Recovery to levels well over a buck is not impossible, and is expected by some. A plan for financing with a major stock offering at $1.50 is stated in an SEC document.
See turbinetruckengines.com.
The engine burns any petro or biofuel 30% more efficeintly than anything out there, with applications also for sure start power generation in the arctic (the engine uses no fluids and has few moving parts), and for ocean liner transport.
Buy and HOLD.
TTEG, a gem in the rough. continues recovery off recent lows.
The company, Turbine Truck Engines, has a potentilly HUGE product, the Detonation Cycle Turbine Engine (DCGT), which could very well be the most efficient, versatile, and environmentally sensible load mover for sustainable economies world wide in short years ahead.
A tid-bit of long-awaited news last week about the completion of parts machining and casting before the upcoming assembly of its 540 horsepower prototype, has propelled the stock off the 52 week low of .30 to the current spread of .45 - .50.
Bids have been steadily creeping up in the attempt to accumulate in the .40's. Today is the first day in the recovery we've seen a market maker bid of .45. Yesterday's close was at HOD .50.
The company should be releasing a series of press releases after the turn of the year, which along with an expected influx of capital into the stock could potentially send the pps into wild swings. Any kind of inlux of volume can send this one flying back to not-unheard of levels over $1.50, at which price there is indeed a goal of a major stock offering. See SEC documents listed at turbinetruckengines.com, and read especially the Roffulo agreement and you'll see the publicly available documentation of the $1.50 financing goal.
Only about a million of 13 million issued shares are free trading, IMO.
There's so much more I'd like to share. The essence is that now, while the stock is in an accumulation phase before a potential breakout, I think a buy is not a bad gamble.
Be forewarned, that although I excpect volume to increase next month, it is still low and wide spreads can make it difficult to get in and out quickly. This is a buy and hold for at least a few weeks. Months and years could potentially yield DOD shares that may yield 20 bagger returns when the company is bought out!!
Good luck.
TTEG continues slow motion recovery off recent lows.
This is not a steroid stock, but a buy and hold.
The stock is still (last trade .50) below the 50DMA of .57 and way off the 200DMA of 1.08. Of just under 13 million shares, only about a million are free trading.
Assembly of the new 540 horsepower prototype of it's innovative heavy transport engine begins soon, now that the parts have been cast and machined. News about that was released last week. More news, about finance as well IMO, should be out shortly after the turn of the year.
The engine can burn and mix any petro or bio fuel 30% more effficiently. Nothing else out there comes close to it's potential as the most versatile and environmental sensible load mover of the future.
It's not unheard of to expect this stock to recover to levels well over a buck seen earlier this year. Expect the real volume and momentum to begin early next month, as soon as next week. Does that mean now could be the time to buy? Do your own DD. See turbinetruckengines.com for starters.
Good luck.
TTEG closes at HOD, continuing a confirmed reversal off the recent 52 week low.
The stock is still (last trade .50) below the 50DMA of .57 and way off the 200DMA of 1.08. Of just under 13 million shares, only about a million are free trading, as I understand.
The company is getting close to assembling and testing the newest prototype of it's innovative heavy transport engine. News to that effect was released last week. More news should be out shortly after the turn of the year.
The engine can burn and mix any petro or bio fuel 30% more effficiently. Nothing else out there comes close to it's potential as the most versatile and environmental sensible load mover of the future.
This could be a very good time to buy, IMO. The two largest volume days the stock has seen have been in the last week, both large white candles.
Volume should increase next month, but be forewarned this is a buy and hold, as it's still difficult to get in and out for gains with the wide spread.
Now that the molds for the engine parts have been made, making two more 540 hp engines will go faster. One of them will be tested until it is literally destroyed in the course intensive duration testing at Purdue University.
The company has huge potential. Short term a recovery to a pps back to previous levels over $1.50 is not out of the question. There is actually a financing goal of issuing a large block of shares at that level.
Other applications of the engine include power generation in the artic (a sure start in cold weather) and the driver of ocean liners.
