Real PCAOB audits can take up to six months, rarely longer. I'm not sure how long fake PCAOB audits take though. I guess will find out here

I've done 57 of these types of deals. I've started and ran 108 successful businesses. 

I think it matters because it's been stated multiple times that they were in the process of getting it resolved within a certain time frame. Everything that time rolls around, the goalposts get moved further out. That doesn't instill much confidence in potential investors and starts to chip away at the confidence of current investors. The shell status itself isn't really a big deal........... but neither should getting it removed
