I think it matters because it's been stated multiple times that they were in the process of getting it resolved within a certain time frame. Everything that time rolls around, the goalposts get moved further out. That doesn't instill much confidence in potential investors and starts to chip away at the confidence of current investors. The shell status itself isn't really a big deal........... but neither should getting it removed
