EIPC announced a $4.5 million dollar deal today
Great news today! I would have liked to have seen a more sustained upward push on the price though. I'm disappointed that the price didn't go higher on this news but optimistic about the future of eipc.
I agree they are off the radar or, at a minimum, just a very faint blip on the radar. I know it's pink sheets and it often doesn't make sense but they have received two grants and signed one contract (albeit a small one). That's not much but it's ALOT more than other companies on the pink sheets have done that are trading at higher prices. It just doesn't seem like the minor accomplishments so far warrant a stock price of under a penny.
Maybe too many shares in the float?
I do have a fairly large position here and am content to just hold on. But this one puzzles me. Oh well. Welcome to otc and pink sheet stocks I guess.
I don't understand why good news doesn't push this stock even a little higher. Maybe there just isnt any interest ou there in this stock?
One contract signed and (hopefully) more to come. This is all good news. Seems like a great deal at these prices.
With the University of Wisconsin agreement and their own research, doesn't this one seem like a good bet at these prices? I mean, I realize there is no marketable product yet but how many start ups can show research agreements with large, reputable Universities? Seems to me that for under $1 you really can't go wrong.
Is this the beginning of the end???
Good question. IMO, and I am the first to admit that I really don't know, the big question is can AVBC survive until revenues from the placements start coming in? The next question is, will those revenues cover expenses? TG did a great job getting placements in Albies, Raleys and now, apparently, Ralphs. But we need to see $$ coming into the company from those placements.
Rob - Don't know when they updated it with new shopping cart. Bottle on "stockupticks" is from AV "Aquaceuticals" line. It's on their website under Products then on left side click on "Aquaceuticals." Don't know whatever happened to the product line or anything. I just remembered seeing those bottles when I was looking at AV web site.
I live in So Cal and can buy Paradise, McIntosh, Sun Tea and Avalanche in stores. Just placed my first on-line order through company web site for some Bamboo. Thought I'd try the cherry flavor. Go AVBC and go Packers!
Great news! What will really be great news is when $$$ starts coming into AV for the product they will be selling as a result of Albertsons, Raleys and Savemart placements and, hopefully, Ralphs and 7-11 placements. That's when, IMO, this stock will take off.
BOP -
I like your web page by the way. Anyway, your statement: "There is more than enough information available to give one good reason to avoid this stock completely. Those that buy in at any price should be well aware of the possibility of loss." EXACTLY! Very well put and exactly right. Here is what I am looking at:
A flavored, non-carbonated, bottled water company unique in its product with product in over 300 Albertsons, 130 Raleys, 90 Savemarts, and pr's proclaiming another 300 Albertsons stores (which I independently verified with Albertsons) and Ralps (with 450 stores in its chain and I also spoke to them and they told me that product should be on shelves end of August time frame). That's over 1100 stores just in California, Nevada and Arizona and product placement won't stop there IF the product sells. I just think that, despite the dilution, this is a great buying opportunity at 7 or 8 cents given the facts above. You are right though. There are plenty of reasons not to buy this stock given the history of this company. I don't know if I am sane or insane but I just figured it was worth a few dollars to find out I guess. Good luck to you in your investments.
Chartman and Imakemoney,
Re Imakemoney post, here is a post from the Raging Bull thread on the subject:
"The RS doesn't have to come into play. The stock market often acts like a
futures market and may appreciate in value 3 to 6 months early in anticipation of
increased revenues and profits. A higher stock price also means less dilution. For
example to raise $100K selling shares at 8 cents takes 1.25M shares, however at 25
cents, the OS would increase by 400K shares, at 50 cents it would only be 200K
shares, etc. So a higher stock price will also mean less dilution and that momentum can
build. Hopefully, the cap won’t have to be raised and the OS will remain below 120M.
Capital is the life blood of small cap stocks, without it just attach the toe tag and shut the
lights. On the other hand, if this funding goes through and AVBC gets a $975K
transfusion, then I believe a lot of the selling pressure is off and that perpetual
overhanging supply of stock is finally removed. That money should provide enough
funds to get production back into full gear and start to generate some real cash flow.
Let’s forget the old high of $2, because we must now factor in the increased dilution
which tripled the OS. So that same high, based on market cap, is equivalent to about
66 cents today. Investors who cost averaged down at these levels may have had the
opportunity to reduce their average price to below 66 cents.
IMO, 66 cents is an attainable and realistic price - that is:
IF a full production agreement with L-M is announced
IF AV significantly increases its market presence
IF AVBC shows increased revenues
IF AVBC starts to show profit
(don’t forget the huge tax loss carry over that will keep profits within AVBC for a while)
and of course the big IF:
IF dilution decreases or ceases
That’s a lot of "Ifs" but that’s what you get when you invest in an OTC-BB stock.
On the other hand, if I’m wrong and there is a second RS, then IMO, that would be as
devastating to this stock as putting cyanide in AV."
Disclaimer: This is only my opinion, investors should do their own DD.
I’m certainly no financial genius LOL)"
While I agree that spam newsletters and some pr's won't help the stock price in the long run (although some pr's might) I disagree with Imakemoney on the issue of revenues. I believe revenues can increase the stock price. Not, I don't think, to the $2 levels that we saw before, but, as the poster uses in the above quote, a level of around .50-.70. Of course if sales go through the roof ... (just dreaming...sorry). Alot of IF's but like it says above, that's what you get with BB stocks.
We can agree to disagree. Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens. Kind of fun following this stock. Aggravating at times. But fun. Anyway, good luck to both of you.
AquaVie now in Modesto -
This is from a post at Raging Bull -
"Aqua Vie in Modesto...
A buddy of mine told me that Aqua Vie is now on the shelves at the Sav-Mart's in
Modesto, CA.
Anyone else seen new locations?"
So with 130 Raley's, 90 SavMarts and over 300 So. Cal. Albertsons, thats well over 500 stores right now that AV is available in. Not too shabby!
Good question. I don't know the answer. Doesn't seem likely that Albertson's would permit placement in No. Cal. stores if product wasn't meeting or exceeding expectations in So. Cal. If product meets or exceeds expectations in No. Cal., along with the Ralph's and Raley's placements, and sustains sales in So. Cal., the revenue has to show up somewhere. When the revenue does show up, investors will start jumping all over this. Of course this is just my opinion and I have no clue about this stuff. Dilution is high but I still think we see a marked increase in share price once revenue starts appearing. All of this IMHO.
AV now available in over 300 Albertsons and 130 Raleys. Not a bad start. Looking forward to No Cal Albertsons and Ralphs. With this kind of product placement and what seems to be a regional growth oriented approach, IMO this is a great investment at 7-8 cents a share even with the current dilution.
SACRAMENTO RALEYS HAS AV
At least two, and should be all, Northern California Raley's has AV available on the
shelves right now. Randy at Raleys at 8391 Folsom Blvd in Sac confirmed availability.
Product is on aisle 4. Debbie at 4551 Mack Road in Sac said four flavors available and
its on aisle 3. That's 130 more stores in addition to the over 300 Southern California
Albertsons.
Annual Report due out 10/29. With extension, due out 11/13. Should be a very interesting report that answers alot of questions.
Some people might switch stores if an Albertson's near them closed and there was a Ralph's or Food 4 Less store closer to them than the nearest Albertson's so there might be some lost sales but I don't see a significant loss of sales. Whatever is lost should be gained back and then some if the Ralph's and Raley's placements ever happen. .
RALEY'S RESPONSE
I sent an e-mail to Raley's asking when AV would be available in their stores. Their response was in letter form and appears in its entirety below. Raleys operates 151 (or is it 161?) stores mostly in Northern California.

Thank you for your consideration in sharing with us your interest in being able to purchase Aqua Vie at Raley's.

They have indicated that the shelf tags will reach the stores by July 27th and the product should arrive approximately one week later.

In response to my e-mail requesting status of AV placement, Ralphs sent the following:
Dear ******:
As per our Marketing Department, "AquaVie" is in the works and will be
available as soon as possible. We appreciate your interest, however,
sometimes it does take time to get products on the shelves, due to many
factors. Thank you for contacting Ralphs again, and we thank you in advance
for your continued patience.

Since you have followed this stock for a long time now, I would be interested in your opinion as to what you think is driving the price down to its current levels. Is it due solely to the disappointing earnings? Or a combination of other factors as well? What are your feelings on this and where do you see this company in the next three months and in the next year or two? Thanks.
Any sightings in Northern California yet? I noticed the product was being carried at an Albertson's in Wood Ranch (west end of Simi Valley). This particular store just began to carry AV two weeks ago. Is this part of the rollout to all California Albertson's?
Turns out that "MadFranco" is her personal e-mail address. Not the pr firms address. Have a great fourth everybody!
"product packaging (not labels) had to be reconfigured..." What does that mean? At first I thought maybe it was just a matter of printing "CA Redemption Value" on the label rather than the current practice of using stickers. But the e-mail indicates it has nothing to do with the label. Is the size of the bottle a problem for Ralph's? Raley's coming on board adds 151 stores to the California distribution list. We need Ralphs on board as well as ALL California Albertson's. Any ideas as to what "packaging had to be reconfigured" could mean?
RALEYS!
Some good news (sort of). Good news is that I just spoke to Raley's who told me that AquaVie should be appearing on shelves in all of their stores by the end of July. Bad news is - what happened to "week of June 25" as mentioned in pr? Better late than never though!
