Sad to hear that. He was a valuable addition to the board. God bless him
Well I hope you and T.J are correct. Here's to hoping this stock is one of the lucky ones.
Does anyone here think this stock will be significantly higher a year from now? Been here since 2014, and I am not happy. BTW, most of you are blocked so only the good posters here will be heard from. Of which there are about 4 of you :)
Great article on immunotherapy drugs (Keytruda and Opdivo.) As the article states, not everyone responds to these drugs. With the help of a combination therapy, such as what ONCS proposes, who knows? It could be a game changer.

15 bucks a share would be a disappointment. Anything than less than a one billion dollar buy out would be a disappointment, IMO. I could have sold it pre-split for the equivalent of about $15 bucks a share
That's only about 750 million. About half what I would expect.
Looking forward to the day when I check this site and see the stock went up to $20 a share. Five years of waiting is quite annoying
I agree. No problem with "may." I deal with contracts everyday and until there is a larger study, "may" gives them a necessary "out" and is understandable. Good news IMO.
The nice thing about being here so long and underwater is I have no interest in selling below $10 and couldn't care less about what the price does day to day at these prices.
Libel is a nasty habit
Stories like this put things into perspective. The advancement of medical technology. If you just stop for a second, and put yourself in the position of someone who has been told they are dying, it is really terrifying. Image the fear of leaving you family and kids behind.
My dad had pulmonary fibrosis. He was on a lung transplant list for over a year. We go in one day to see his doctors and they said he probably had to wait another 6 months or so, yet he had maybe two or three months to live. I remember he would spontaneously cry during this time period because he was scared. That night after we got back from the doctor appointment, he gets the call and they had a lung for him just like that. That was almost 3 years ago. My parents spent their 50th anniversary in the hospital but it was worth it.
It just really makes you wonder how many lives this treatment could save and how many lives it affects beyond just the sick ones.
Good for Melinda Welsh. I'm glad the treatment has at the very least, bought her more time.
Wonderful article. I wish her the best. It really makes you consider what these new breakthroughs can do for people.
Any news of warrants, etc. can spook others into selling. Its best to avoid it and just have positive news in the future have its own PR without warrant news to follow.
I have been saying this as well. But I am thinking over 37 dollars per share.
I am more impressed with Dan than I expected. So far so good!
Just looking at the AF article: Something to keep in mind is Incyte has about 211 million OS while ONCS has far fewer, even after the latest warrants being exercised. If they have similar products, yet Incyte's product is worth about 11 billion, it makes you think ONCS could be bought out for well into the billions. Incyte is about $106 per share right now. If roughly half of their value is based on epacadostat, that would be roughly $50 per share of their value. I think this bodes well for ONCS.

I have never owned a stock that was bought out. Would the share price be based on shares outstanding? Or shares authorized? I am assuming OS. I am trying to figure out how many ONCS shares would effect the possible buyout.
Agreed Lasers. And with more attention on this stock now, we will have to knock down misinformation more and more.
AF has trashed a lot of my stocks in the past. This is the first time he was kind to my stock.
I hope AF writes his next article for the street rather than a subscription publication. The more eyes, the better.
Not comparing apples to apples, but I noticed in AF's article (since he was comparing ONCS to INCY) that he had another article within this article. So if you do some digging in that separate article, you will see he talks about how KITE is being bought by GILD for just under 12 billion. Imagine if someone bought ONCS for even half or a third of that?

Its a shame the AF article is by subscription. It limits the number of people who can read it
Must be nice. I had about that many shares pre-split. Fewer now lol
Did anyone subscribe to AF's article?
At this point I could care less about 2.50 or 4.50 for that matter. My point is, it's an improvement over PD, who was a disaster. That is why I highlighted that paragraph. Anything less than $15 per share would be a disappointment in my eyes. Who knows when that could/would happen. I have all the time in the world to wait. Can't sell it now anyway
"O’Connor joined Advaxis as SVP in January 2013. By August, he was CEO. Back then, Advaxis was struggling after data on its cancer vaccine failed to wow. Advaxis suffered further setbacks under O’Connor’s stewardship, including a clinical hold, but overall the situation has improved. O’Connor struck a deal with Amgen, moved an asset into phase 3, steadied Advaxis’ once-perilous financial position and oversaw a 100% increase in its stock."
Sure hope you guys are right. Been here since 2013 and am very much underwater. I'd be happy with taking a 50% loss at this point
He has to say "may." He would be opening himself up to lawsuits if he stated otherwise. Here's hoping the news is positive enough to move the needle upward. Ive owned this stock for 4 years and am underwater.
Realistic future projections for PPS for ONCS ?
I rarely post. But I first bought into ONCS about 3 years ago and have accumulated here and there since then, although not lately. My average was about .50 (pre reverse split) and looking back it would have been wise to sell when it was about a dollar. I would have gladly taken that money and bought back even more shares at a cheaper price. But, I am obviously upside down now and while I think this stock has amazing potential, to say I am frustrated is an understatement. My problem has always been I either sold too soon (INO) or didn't sell at all (ONCS).
We all see some of the other biotech stocks out there that get acquired or at the very least start to make some real money licensing their products. It is frustrating to watch a stock that I believe could make huge gains for its investors (and help people who are sick as well) continue to drift downward. Now it all seems to hinge on the P2B data that we hope to get in the coming months.
Assuming the data is indeed positive, I would hope Dhillon would allow ONCS to be acquired if an offer came in. But I read that he is more interested in licensing the technology (correct me if I am wrong on that). Honestly, I would love to see him allow ONCS to be bought out, so I could get my money (and hopefully a profit), and move on.
But lets make another assumption. Lets assume more dilution would occur over the next year or two. Lets say in the next year or two, there are 25,000,000 shares out there as opposed to the current +/- 16,900,000. Do you all think it is realistic that this company would have a valuation of $500 million? That would be about a 20 dollar per share price. I do think its very possible, given that other Biotech's (see ZIOP since it has been discussed lately), have a market cap of nearly 1 billion dollars and over 100 million more outstanding shares. Now I know that no two stocks are apples to apples, but I am curious what you guys think this stock could realistically be worth in a year or two.
Lets hope its not a "buying the rumor" situation, because that is often followed by a sell off. I would hope people are not buying on rumors, but on evidence that their appears to be a long list of good news soon to come. Normally with a biotech stock I look at exit points and when to sell. With this stock, I dont feel particularly eager to choose an exit point. With INO I sold at about 2 bucks after buying in around .45 cents. With ONCS, I think I will hold on to it a few years, for better or worse.
Long time reader, first time poster. Come on guys, 20 bucks a share. We all know that we have all been on many, many message boards where people say things like, "Oh wow, we are at .80 cents now, its just a matter of time before we are at 15 buck!" Come on, that does happen but rarely. And a RS is often involved. I love this stock and am heavily invested. And I think 7-8 bucks in a few years is very possible. In the next year, I hope to see 2 bucks and think thats possible. But having invested in Bio stocks for a long time, I have more than learned my lesson about tempering my expectations. I have also had a number of stocks get amazing news, only to tank and never really recover (sell the news....). I cant remember being this pumped about a stock in a long while, but lets temper those expectations a bit.... Just some friendly advice, take it or leave it. One reason I follow furbush on both boards is he seems to have a pretty level head on expectations. I will take that over pie in the sky any day. Call me "Eeyore" if you like, but Eeyore never got stuck in the honey tree like Pooh bear.... :) Go ONCS
