Hey 31twu. Mr. Shaq investments and business ventures, right. A bit better than BW or the Shamwow guy.
Hey, 31twu. So, your willing to bet on another mediocre rise based on BW shenanigans. Maybe a rumor about shelf space within Starbucks, Walmart, or Target. Maybe another buyout out by Coca-Cola? I cannot wait for the next episode of BW’s version of The Office. I loved the episode where BW incentivized his MLM drones with stock options then diluted the stock and mismanaged the company. I guess that’s why I like the guy, he’s an entertainer.
Hey, mi amigos. $2.17 close with a 42.9% CG tax hike scare. NBEV at $1.25 is tops for this turd. Snickers couldn't taste any sweeter!
Holy Yikers!! I guessed $2.00 way back when (three weeks ago). Almost there. I wish I could invoke SG2’s mojo spirits for the true bottom. Unfortunately, I cannot reach him while he is converting his Porsche from stock to track. Now, I am thinking $1.25. The BW ATM machine is running harder than the FED. I think I'll cheers with a Noni.
Too-da-loo my three iHub $NBEV commandos. I wish your long or short positions the best champagne wishes and caviar dreams. All exciting, you know. I recommend getting your vaccines because this company is a super spreader!
SG2, OOPS! I forgot the 10.3% for a small baller CA income tax bracket. That’s if you’re a Californian? So, after Newsom takes his cut, that would leave you with $98,202. Hmm, that’s maybe Panamera or Taycan money. Still a Porsche, though. But hopefully, you’re a Floridian or Texan. AHH, you said profit so now we are down to $73,202. Again, a 2021 Porsche 718 Boxster or Cayenne. Not bad. Forget me mentioning Bugatti or McLaren.
SG2, you really got me thinking. I am a bit jealous about your talent and strategy. I know you’re not only perfectly timing the NBEV short positions, but also dominating the short-term breakouts as well. I really cannot believe NBEV is still above $2.20. I did a little rough accounting to see if you really could afford that Porsche. Enjoy.
Short #1: $6.69 Jun 9, 2017 to $2.17 Jan 5, 2018 – percent change 67.6%
Short #2: $3.92 Jun 19, 2018 to $1.32 August 24, 2018 – percent change 66.3%
Short #3: $7.15 Feb 1, 2019 to $3.60 Nov 9, 2018 – percent change 49.6%
Short #4: $3.89 Feb 12, 2021 to $2.63 Apr 8, 2021 – percent change 49.7%
My apologies, but I am assuming a lot here. I guessing you’re a stuntman, so you reinvested your gains throughout these ideal short positions. I’m also kind of guessing that your initial trade was around $25,000.
Short #1: Trade $25,000; Gain $16,900; Gain minus Capital Gains (20%) and fees (.1%) = $13,503
Short #2: Trade $38,503; Gain $25,527; Gain minus Capital Gains (20%) and fees (0.1%) = $20,396
Short #3: Trade $58,900; Gain $29,213; Gain minus Capital Gains (20%) and fees (0.1%) = $23,342
Short #4: Trade $82,242; Gain $40,874; Gains minus Capital Gains (20%) and fees (0.1%) = $32,656
So, if my assumptions and accounting are anywhere close, your incredible timing talent of this turd amounted to a grand total of $114,898.13. Yes, you may be able to afford a 2021 Porsche 911 ($99,200) or 2021 Porsche Boxster ($98,600). But I am thinking you’re a 911 Californian, which maybe needs a closer look.
$99,200 + 7.25% sales tax + $21.00 title + $60.00 Registration + 0.65% vehicle License Fee + $8.00 Smog fee + $26 CHP donation + $17 emissions parking sticker + $80.00 electronic filing fee = $107,214
Congrats!! Over almost three years of impeccable trades, you earned a 2021 Porsche 911 with $7,684.13 left over beer or Noni money. If you really do that kind of magic, you should aim higher. Maybe a Bugatti or McLaren? Nothing against Porsche, you know.
I'd gladly pay you on Tuesday for a Noni today.
Thanks. I gather you’re not happy about the Morinda Holdings $85 million acquisition in 2018, which may have changed the direction of the company. Too bad NBEV is no longer associated BWR brands like Nestea and Evian. Even I recognize those BWR brands. Now NBEV is trying to sling “healthier” and pricier brands like Noni, ‘Nhanced, Elite, Slenderiiz, Shape, and TeMana as well as other poisons through New Age, Ariix, MaVie (DNA Lifestyle?) and LIMU. I agree that NBEV is attempting to market and manage these boutique products. I liken these products to mall kiosks, which only the lonely frequent. Maybe NBEV could be market positive if they play their ace in the hole as long as CBD drinks remain relatively popular in the U.S.A. It is difficult to nail down NBEV’s strategy. Is NBEV’s long game to market these healthy living boutique products to the affluent through social media and mlm? Are there enough bored rich house wives/husbands in the 75 countries they market, who host Noni parties or shop the cascade of NBEV websites? The crux of the matter is few people know about NBEV and the rest probably are turned off by their infomercial style. Sure, you can cast a wide web to become a huge network marketing organization, but if you’re not selling product… you’re losing money. Hopefully NBEV will find its niche that works, because it hasn’t been doing so well.
SIO, I am really not sure of the of NBEV’s first purchase or why you would single it out over all of their other mediocre decisions. I am guessing it might have been NBEV’s pivot into its current second-rate operation. I haven’t been around that long. Maybe you are you talking about the 2019 acquisition of the licensing or distribution rights of Brands Within Reach (BWR), Inc including Nestea, IIIly Ready-to-Drink Coffee, Volvic and Evian premium waters? I drank Nestea once or twice in my life. There was nothing else around and I was summertime dehydrated or trying to be polite. We call that tea dish water. I saw Evian’s expensive PET bottles for sale. I really couldn’t justify paying an extra $0.40, although the Great Pacific Garage Patch is an awful situation. But I am sure Waste Management "recycles" Evian in the same ocean garbage patch as Great Value Purified. Ultimately, maybe BW is bailing out some InBev or Cott bros? Blah, blah, at some point “Who cares? Lolzzzzzzzz” (R4C, 2021 as cited in Post#11247)
IMO, all traders are frothing to realize the practice of money for absolutely nothing. Gambling upside or downside on an educated guess or a gut feeling. Unless you’re an insider or established enough to implement an algorithm, the house (insider or establishment) typically wins. No true investment here, just smash and grab.
SIO, no confrontation. Maybe just different opinions. I am sure we (this obscure message board) are, all least, humans. Why would anyone would flat out lie about their unheard conversations here, unless they’re lying to themselves? Anyway, I think $NBEV speaks for themselves. Is NBEV a used car business with mlm lemmings worshiping the golden ring that never comes? That might work for investors, but BW is not Richard Rawlings. He does have the business acumen or the talented staff to turn junk companies into something desirable. So, I believe BW fails as a used car salesman, which seems to be his business model. NBEV's future is speculation, but its history speaks truth. Good luck to you.
R4C, SIO is talking about $6 undervaluation after $NBEV 1:10 reverse split. BTW, $NBEV lives on 0 degrees latitude, so yes I can watch ol'Coriolis manipulate this turd from home. However, your right I really do need to see a doctor about my interest in watching this Frankenstein company. The company is made up of dead parts, lead around by an Abby Normal brain. GD, Igor, BW is not Hans Delbruck!
SIO, I don’t know whether you’re a prophet or guru, but your Rube Goldberg timing makes my heart swell. With my limited experience I interpret your comments as follows:
1.) Take out a long position at a price point around $1.80 or something comfortable, if possible.
2.) Take out a short position at a price point around $3.50 or higher, if possible.
3.) In the interim, work the $NBEV’s penny cycles with short-term trades.
It’s like a hedging+ strategy. If my interpretation is close to your immaculate verse, it’s like Muhammad Ali’s rope-a-dope technique. Although, I like to call it, turd in a toilet bowl chaos theory. In my case I do not have the Ali’s talent, stamina, or motivation, so I just have to periodically watch for the Coriolis effect's changes in the turd's direction. However, no matter what, it gets consumed by the sewerage system North or South.
03/24/21 $NBEV market open $2.50.
In my option, SIO, with all due respect, anything above $1.50 is a losing position no matter how many junk companies BW adds or sheds. $NBEV has no presence within the energy drink, health drink, cosmetics, or any other product BW wishes to peddle or retire. Nothing is perfectly timed, but I believe you can bank on $NBEV to ultimately lose. The fizzy drink industry is weird. BW may latch onto a winner, but $NBEV cannot follow through. For example, I have been casually looking to purchase Marely Mellow Mood drinks, which I think could have be $NBEV’s Swan Song. No luck in purchasing this product within their disjointed sites to include: newage.com, noninewage.com, ariix.com, mavie.com, thelimucompany.com, zennoa.com . Have you ever searched at any of these sites? Could you believe that the product I am looking for cannot be found at newage.com. Anyway, there is no focus within $NBEV. For a company who boasts its business model is its social media popularity, checkout $NBEV’s Facebook (6,780 likes) (8,083 follows). Of course, BW has accumulated other brands and mlm’s schemes, but it’s all a disjointed mess (no collaboration between sites).
I’ll tell you what, if I ever find a $NBEV product to purchase without joining a mlm cult I reevaluate my position, but that is not likely. BW is bleeding money on a “Blue Dream” high, but does not have the leadership realize his dream. Ultimately, BW really doesn’t care either. Receiving a lucrative salary for getting high and mismanaging a company, certainly doesn't cut into his bottom line.
SIO, my voice within corporations, excessively wealthy or nation leaders is mute. Unfortunately, I have no control over nations’ pandemic policies or spending. Yes, timing the market for any stock is impractical. You got to just hold and bare it until your greed is satisfied. Good Luck, mi amigo!
True SG2, no one really cares, unless it cuts into their bottom line. Anyone is a potential $NBEVs mlm lemming, if BW can spin Noni or Kombucha (whatever they are?) like Jonestown Kool-Aid. I just care that $NBEV propaganda doesn’t cut into my bottom line.
Come on Europe! A third-wave, continental lockdown, please. And may the U.S. follow its cue. Hopefully, a market correction to <19,000 this time around? So, maybe it's time to cash your $NBEV pennies and enjoy a socially distanced Noni+CBD or Kombucha. Whatever they are? Good luck in finding them for sell, anyway. Hopefully, all those uninformed Miami spring breakers, protesters/rioters, illegals/cartels and of course those other non-work-form-home suckers enjoy their 3T infrastructure. May the all new U.S citizens, fentanyl, and vaccines flow like water.
A simple prayer to the market. I speak it twice daily. Just a suggestion.
In the name of the taxes, interest rates, and government regulations. May whatever supreme begin, agonistic hedge, atheist thought as well as sexual, asexual, and racial positions bless the stock market and this American circus. My most powerful market, may your prevalent apostles nod to my trades. May your convulse graces not let me holding the bag. Amen.
Forgive my dribble, again. But the overall $NBEV message board consensus is short selling. Maybe you specialists could help me with my shorting education? All of you seem to have accumulated rabid fortunes timing and betting $NBEV’s struggling stock price. Your timing seems impeccable and your target buy-to-cover price (~$2.00) seems very reasonable. $NBEV seems to have bounced around in its doldrums, since its inception. But don’t you have to pay margin interest on the borrowed shares over the time you hold the shares? Doesn’t that set the period in which you consider to cover?
So, let say $NBEV current price at $3.00 is impractical. $NBEV is really worth <= $2.00. You think, hey, I can make 50% gain on this trade. You burrow the shares from your broker sell-to-open at $3 and wait to buy-to-close at $2. Harrah, money! But you’re required to pay margin interest on your barrowed shares (anywhere from 2% to 8% depending on your broker), which is a bit tricky. I believe it would work out something like this though.
Sell-to-open 1,666 shares at $3 = Margin loan of $50,000
Buy-to-close 1,666 share at $2 = Gain of $25,000
Margin interest @ 2% over a period of let’s say 100 days = $274 **(online calculator)
Margin interest @ 8% over a period of let’s say 100 days = $1100 **(online calculator)
So, the overall ROI for the trade is $23,900 to $24,726. Let’s just say you guys are living good, so after CG (20%) … you pocket $19,120 to $19,780 With Bien, you might be looking at CG (40%) … you pocket $14,340 to $14,835, yikes!! that hurts. Anyway, the margin interest is minimal compared to (CG), although it’s probably somehow connected to the prime rate? Of course, there are other broker fees and expense that I haven’t accounted for … blah, blah.
All this math and money talk makes my eyes rain. But hey it’s money for nothing, right? I guess, except, for watching this turd circle around the toilet bowl. But that could be a little fun life.
Have any of you naked shorted a stock? Is that a thing? I heard it’s liberating.
BTY, Nelson2, I am the lovechild ghost of H.P. Lovecraft and Hunter S. Thompson.
My introduction to MLM was in a Kentucky Fried Chicken parking lot around 11:00PM. My friend and I had just went through 2 whole chickens and sides in about 10 mins at that KFC's discount closing prices. So after our quick snack, an Amway salesman approached my friend and I in our race restored 1967 302cuin Mustang. This is after he and his family watched us devour our food, medieval style, inside this restaurant. Anyway, the Amway dude approach the car and said "You guys look like two intelligent individuals." My buddy had to shutoff of car, so we could hear him (yeah, stupid). After that he went into his steak knives, light bulbs, and cosmetics elevator pitch. No, energy drinks at the time, though. At that point, we thought we entered into the Twilight Zone or were about to get jacked, robbed, murdered or sent to an alternate universe, so we broke our 1/4 mile record leaving the situation.
My take after all these years. The Amway guy was tenacious, unafraid, desperate, and motivated. Possibly he just finished attending an Amway motivational meeting or retreat. Just a recommendation to all of BW's MLM minions, it's not a good idea to indoctrinate MLM candidates in such a surreal setting. It could have went so much worst over some steak knives sales. However, I do love the guys conviction to make that sell.
Thanks, for all of your posts, messages, and opinions. Although most business have strange and aggressive origins, I just hope that BW's ultimate business model for $NBEV is not selling product, late night, in a KFC parking lot. It's about energy drinks not heroin. Nothing against the Colonel, it's still finger licking good!
Thanks, R4C, for your insightful response. Based upon your response, I gather $NBEV is destine for failure. I do what to give a hat tip to SG2, she/he/other seems a bit high strung. I got to hand it to SG2 though, * gets the point across and probably is to making a killing on the $NBEV peaks? Although I read some articles on the contrary, I would never, ever believe $KO would ever be interest in $NBEV. So many more business opportunities for $KO, except for New Coke. I am considering the pump and dump scenario. If the P&D is in play, unfortunately $NBEV is in its dead raddles (i.e. $7 / 2017, $9 / 2018, & $5 / 2021). Maybe like a cardiomyopathy EKG chart. So much for healthy live’n with Noni and Kombucha, whatever they are. But the business world is weird, maybe they’ll give BW a pass, after his professional castration. You got to, at least, like the guy. Does BW have any business acumen to run any company? Yet, he’s the CEO of $NBEV. His lack of ethics, leadership, and success somehow inspires me. Hopefully he’s not a psychopath, there’s a bunch of mlm lemmings’ garages filled with product. He shouldn’t leave them in the lurch after his inspirational messages. Is this energy drink Scientology?
Sorry, one more thing. What the hell is an Evolution of Management Team (EMT). Is it their responsibility to focus this disjointed, unknown, and eclectic company? I haven't studied BW's past failures and/or successes, but the seemly random and hazardous management strategy of this company makes me smile for some reason. I just hope the EMT's have some Red Bull on hand. They'll need some wings. Maybe a defibrillator will help, too.
Yeah, that's weird BW dilutes shares to buy fringe companies, dumps them, and then rewards himself with depressed share prices. I haven't looked at all of BW's 4K's, throughout $NBEV's history. But if BW is consistently selling at a peak, he should be held accountable by the SEC. Please let me know about any BW trades like that.
I guess if you have enough depressed or discounted shares, it really doesn't matter. Anyone would be happy with 10M shares at $1 0r $.50. The business world is a bit counterintuitive.
I do wish $NBEV would stop buying and diluting. I never heard of Alvien, Inc. I am not Japanese and unfortunately don't have any Japanese friends, but Google never heard of Alvien. So, why would $NBEV again dilute to buy Alvien at approximately 1M shares. What's up with that weird press release, anyway? Thirteen days before four quarter and full-year results in March 16, 2021.. Hey, $NBEV is buying, yet, again?
I am telling you guys as a major cerveza consumer. Marketing and distribution is the key to the fizzy drink biz. If I order a Coke here, I might end up with a Orange Soda (maybe Coke product). Again, I am not a fan of the MLM scheme, but at least it's focused. But is anybody asking for New Age products and how do they purchase them (other than MLM). Very confusing. Does anybody in Colorado or Utah like this stuff?
NJM, thanks for the history lesson.
In other words, who knows?
I read a lot and I write a lot, hopefully you’re bored. I love discussion, which I am looking for. Maybe I pick the wrong message board or whatever this is.
I like posting here, the posters are great! Unfortunately, I think we all have the same pessimistic opinion. So, why do we continue posting our views to this forum? Is there any rebuttal to the majority’s position? $NBEV is an interesting idea, but $NBEV’s MLM strategy is really not that interesting to me. I really would like to hear from “dissenters” from majority posters’ overall negative consensus. I really don’t want to be an a$$hole in argument. However, I really want to understand every opposing position.
IMO, $NBEV’s propaganda concerning goals, strategy, culture, and vision seems to be dynamic. Dynamic is good if adjusting for successful growth, but bad if searching for identity. By 28 years old you are who you are. Thereafter, you may make decisions that improve (education, health, motivation, gratitude) or decrease (depression, addiction, laziness, anger) your life’s success. There are always biased exceptions to my previous opinions (i.e. entertainers, politicians, influencers) that usually account for Jati. I know my comments are weird, right?
My quick market statistics are as follows:
The $NBEV dates and share price are close enough for horseshoes and hand grenades.
2014 August – $2.00 – IPO
2016 September through 2016 May – $0.32 – Coming of Age
2017 June – $7.00 – Peak #1
2018 October 2018 – $9.00 – Peak #2
2021 February – $5.00 – Peak #3
Did Brent Willis make this happen? I really like the $.032 doldrums to a ~ $5.00 peak. Maybe a pot peak? Is Brent Willis the Elon Musk of the weird (my opinion) health botanicals, cosmetics, and energy drink biz? IMO, Brent Willis needs to pick a company brand, strategy, and identity and go with it. He needs to stop doing what he is told to do. My favorite interview with Brent Willis is Fox Business News (the least of market news) https://www.facebook.com/NewAgeDisruptor/videos/new-age-beverages-ceo-brent-willis-on-the-companys-new-marley-branded-cbd-infuse/2808284632785827/
Brent Willis “It is not Success”; “Success is when you stop selling diabetes in a can”. I am sure there is a whole bunch of failed companies that challenged the Fizzy Drinks and Energy Drinks big boys. My perceived sincerity (maybe my ignorance) to his response to produce and distribute products that elevate 1.6 million deaths by the U.S. diabetes disease. That’s all great, but all I want is that the stock drop >$2.10 and then look forward to a $6.00 return over 2021. Yeah, not a short but maybe optimist from Brent Willis’ entertainment qualities, sorry to my negative brothers. I’ll be patient and see for the $NBEV news releases, lol.
Hopefully you're a bagger rather than a bag holder. IMO, $NBEV has to organize, consolidate, and make a whole bunch of noise at a nuclear bomb magnitude. If not the E-Drink biz will leave them in the gutter. Good luck to you!
Hi zerohedge. IMO, acquiring brands has two folds: closing competition or owning an advantage. The first fold does not make sense in the case of $NBEV. The market is flush with energy drinks (& exotics), vanity products, and other "health" trinkets. They'll be in the dirt before they dig out of that hole. The second might make sense, if $NBEV has a distribution system to exploit a product's limited success. Can $NBEV boast a ~dominate manufacturing, marketing, or distribution system that elevates a diamond in the rough from it's shortcomings? IMO, $NBEV doesn't have those qualities or resources. BTY, have you drank any of this $hit? It's all about marketing and distribution.
Agreed. SCAM, lolzzzzzz! In fact, any investment without due diligence will likely bite back. Sorry, for all losses incurred. All CBD and health drink exotics have been scam-able ventures throughout history. The market is overflowing with these potions. With such density to market, New Age touts its direct to store delivery (DSD) and multichannel marketing (MLM) strategies for US and international markets. The company’s disjointed social media pages and websites as well as New Age Live webcasts appear to be employing a multi-level marketing or pyramid selling strategy rather than DSD or MLM. It’s pretty amazing $NBEV saw 4Q Rev @ $90M with ~$350 multi-level marketing starter kits. That’s a bunch of bag holders warehousing garages full of energy drinks, makeup and other “health” trinkets. Hopefully, $NBEV does something to benefit of their sellers, before declaring bankruptcy. My question is why not just smoke pot rather than drink it? Seems more natural and healthily that way, no? I'm sure Phillip Morris is working it out. Lolzzzzzzz
Can I get a shout out for BAVI?
HUMM, it is a very, very & extremely risky investment. Down +50% in a couple of days. Not good at all. The New Age Inc. brand portfolio is unfamiliar to me, which has now expanded New Age, Inc to include ARIIX, Zennoa, Shannen, Limu, and Mavie. The acquisition of ARIIX may prove kinder, gentler Herbalife-like pathway to market minus Mr. Ackman. $NBEV has a lot of “health” products to sell across their established and newly acquired US and international DSDs, but who is selling and more importantly who is buying. The mergers seem a bit clumsily, not a consolidated or unified roll out of its marketing potential. Hopefully, New Age focuses on its customers rather than building out a pyramid where its own sellers get screwed over hard. Just one of those things in the energy drink biz, I guess. I don’t wear makeup and I really think all energy drinks taste like sh**, but what do I know, I like Bush Light beer. I see potential in these mergers, but got a gut punch after watching a couple of New Age Live webcasts. Mostly older sellers' product testimonies, who were excited about the products' effectiveness, which is not a bad thing if truthful. But who is $NBEV selling to? The $NBEV website conjures images of youth and vitality, rather than geriatric sustainment. Hopefully, they don't 86 New Age Beverage, I'd like to try the CBD Marley Mood brand before they go. Good luck.
I suggest watching The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margret to get more insight into the energy drink market place. I am originally from Leeds, so I know all about that. Really the CBD and alcoholic drinks may be the demand. I think most "health" conscience customers squirt a bit of vodka into their kombucha anyway.
I think Bavi is on its way to pass its PH3 with flying colors. GO PPHM! Stockholders, we are set to launch!
Holy man! Accumulation, I believe you, brother. Go Go Go!
Thanks, mi amigo!
Very interesting finding, Ku. The name of that boat, PS-Targeting, sounds familiar. Any insight from your source on its ports?
Yeeee Haaaawwwlll! It's like a bucking bronco. Hang tight.
Maybe the Bavi advantage? However, accumulation could be in-play, also?
Although we received a fraction of a penny on our dollars, am thankful the Bavi albatross is finally gone. It was nothing but a money pit since Sept 2012. Now that we are a manufacturing company it should be straight forward. No more puzzle pieces. We either have the contracts to manufacture a product or we don't. We are either making money or we are not. Hopefully, we are competent at manufacting. Who knows maybe we can mix up some Bavi for the next batch of suckers. IMO
