SIO, I am really not sure of the of NBEV’s first purchase or why you would single it out over all of their other mediocre decisions. I am guessing it might have been NBEV’s pivot into its current second-rate operation. I haven’t been around that long. Maybe you are you talking about the 2019 acquisition of the licensing or distribution rights of Brands Within Reach (BWR), Inc including Nestea, IIIly Ready-to-Drink Coffee, Volvic and Evian premium waters? I drank Nestea once or twice in my life. There was nothing else around and I was summertime dehydrated or trying to be polite. We call that tea dish water. I saw Evian’s expensive PET bottles for sale. I really couldn’t justify paying an extra $0.40, although the Great Pacific Garage Patch is an awful situation. But I am sure Waste Management "recycles" Evian in the same ocean garbage patch as Great Value Purified. Ultimately, maybe BW is bailing out some InBev or Cott bros? Blah, blah, at some point “Who cares? Lolzzzzzzzz” (R4C, 2021 as cited in Post#11247)
IMO, all traders are frothing to realize the practice of money for absolutely nothing. Gambling upside or downside on an educated guess or a gut feeling. Unless you’re an insider or established enough to implement an algorithm, the house (insider or establishment) typically wins. No true investment here, just smash and grab.
