Thank you Schneidku40.
Thank you port... I'm feeling more confident about VTSI than I ever have.
Why would you recommend calls over shares for CLSN specifically?
For any stock that made the gains this one did in just three days?
Yes it is.
Thanks jmurfk, M-Marked eom.
That makes no sense.
I hope, and choose to believe that BMSN has something that attracted Dr. Ichim. I don't think anyone with his impressive background would seek employment just anywhere for a paycheck.
He has some impressive videos on youtube if you want to see him speak.
and during your ride jabird, did you have times where the share price stalled, and people wondered that was similar to this price movement?
I know circumstances are always different, but I would like to know if things got confusing there also, especially early on in the penny range, for a stock on its way to .35
Wow, wth.. I bought 150K at .0037 with less than 5 minutes left and no expectation of green close, then just 2 minutes prior to close, Someone bigger than me bought over 1.6 million shares. It didnt show up on Etrade streamer. Even after close.
...I hate my trading "tools".
huh? we closed 16% down today. I'll keep adding.
do you mean over-sold?
It was three steps forward, and a half step back. :)
Tripled your position? Wow, I would like to buy more here, but it will make me too emotional during these shakey days. I'm holding the right amount of shares when I can watch it do this and stay collected and resolute in my decision to hold.
OT: I have placed trades (Etrade) where 100 shares fills immediately, (like its a placeholder) and the other 999,900 shares waits to complete.
Yea, I got some through TDA. It works great if you don't mind taking 10 minutes to make a single trade. Got caught up proving my identity and waiting on hold. Lot of fun.
My primary account is Etrade and they have been great for OTC stocks.
Thanks Smilin B,
There are so many reasons this could not be shorting, Thanks for clarifying what it is and how much of it is happening.
I never understood the 50% part until now.
If I have it right, It pretty much means every vendor is being overpaid from the investors. The excess isnt even being used, its just a bonus to note holders selling. What a waste.
I gotta say that I'm stunned by the apparent weakness in price at the close, when the buys and sells were SO lopsided on the buy side.
why was this going down???

Thank you ~BC~!!!
I appreciate you taking the time. That will help me immensly during DD.
I just found this company today. Is there a short answer (short for your sake) for why this stock went down so far, so fast from previous valuation?
Funny you should say that. I have also come to expect a fake drop (like the bottom fell out) before any decent move up, in any small stock. Stop losses just act as a trap in this crazy market.
OT: "Right through your order" meant that it never filled?
Going forward with that idea though, brings me to more questions of what could they do with it? they have no scenarios, they can't steal the software, and have no accountability. What do they all have to sell? A large competitor won't learn anything from them that they don't likely already know by viewing the Virtra simulators in action or general corporate espionage that would occur with or without non compete contracts.
Is it simple customer lists we're talking about? To my understanding, Virtra has earned good name in the Simulation industry and you can't steal that.
If an employee would rather leave than sign a letter saying he won't give secrets away. I'd rather have him leave now than later.
As a technician I have never seen them hold anyone back from changing employment. As a rule they violate public policy, but I will definately defer to those of you that use them and clearly know more than I do.
My question to you then, would be, have you ever had anyone quit or otherwise not take a position because you asked them to sign it? I simply can't fathom an entire dept, walking out over one
(Not that its confirmed).
~~~~Why would the entire DoD staff (minus 1) let VirTra terminate them instead of signing a noncompete agreement? ~~~~~
---------------------------
I am failing to wrap my mind around this one too. Who would quit a job over a noncompete contract??
Ive signed them for jobs before. Ive even had one that gave the same sign it or quit now, ultimatum. Non-compete clauses are barely worth the paper they are written on. Obviously, Everyone wasnt planning on starting their own competing companies using Virtra secrets. It can't stop you from working for a different employer in the same field. There is no way these bright employees could think the company was going to (or be able to) sue everyone that found future or improved employment down the road. They are common, and generally considered a good faith document. The only caviat would be, don't advertise your current companies secrets as trade to gain employment somewhere else.
So why does everyone in a department leave when presented with one? Something is missing here as well.
Wish that were true, but so far, there is not much buying to make that probable.
I can see how it looks to you like this is on purpose. What else would make trained execs feel that silence is the correct way to handle confusion and possible misdirection?
Wish Kelly Jones was still running things.
What could explain what appears to be total neglect? If he has a pet, I hope someone responsible can look in on it.
Yes, its your money for whatever you want. I trade the otcbb. It is a process you have to set-up with them, but it was simple and only took about a day. After that, its like having linked accounts.
You can set up a transfer from your bank account to etrade.
When you make a transfer the money is available immediately, like the second you press the button on Etrade, its available.
Since you guys like Robots, check out what the future looks like at Boston Dynamics (its not on an exchange). Yes the military and DARPA are all into them. I only wish we could invest in these guys.
Thank you senor_c. That makes me feel better. Would always like to know about the move, but as you said... This is good for now.
Thanks Snizzle, good point. I don't necessarily carry the same opinion as the poster who explained "trade for trade" on a different stock board. I was hoping to share what the notice of "trade for trade" means.
I don't believe anyone was, or could, day trade here on SMEV anyway.
I do however, hope that whatever caused this classification can be cleared up. It would be nice to hear something timely from SMEV.
Heres what the previous notice post seems to mean for us.
courtesy of poster Renee.
Continuous Net Settlement means a share can trade as many times as buyers and sellers want to trade it.
When the DTCC determines there are discrepancies with a company's share structure that may exceed the Authorized Shares, eg shares sold by a company through Accredited Investors or Pipe funders, or Brokers not locating and delivering shares for their retail clients, or any other inexplainable amount of shares trading, the DTCC places a company's stock on a trade-for-trade limitation.
Trade-for-trade means that each share that is traded MUST be settled ( ie located and delivered ) by a Broker before that share can trade again. That usually takes 3 days.
Although a stock can still trade under trade-for-trade the liquidity that is necessary for fast trading activity is stopped, eg., flipping a share several times during one trading day on upticks then re-buying on down-ticks.
Since most OTC Pink Sheet stocks live or die by trading volumes that attract the momentum players those players won't buy because they would have to own that stock for 3 days before they could sell again. Without trading liquidity a stock will only attract long holders.
On the principles of supply and demand when the demand decreases usually the PPS decreases as well.
Agreed! So glad that "quality stocks" can finally stop taking shares and selling them into the market for what amounted to nothing but an uninspired "cut and paste" paid advertiser and a red flag to someone looking into SMEV for the first time.
Mostly I'm happy we have true investors and posters here. There was a time only a year ago when the only posts on the board were the copy and pastes from quality stocks. This is a great improvement.
My Etrade isnt ready either findit. Usually they are pretty good, but they don't even have the new share count corrected yet.
I'm sort of concerned about it. There were some very good points brought up earlier, and they were quickly, angrily dismissed. I'm not here to only listen or speak one side.
This is the best use of bar scanning Ive seen so far. on failblog no less.
Apologies if youve seen it, I havent been following here much.
Exact same here Franz. I don't subscribe to a conspiracy theory, but truth be told our business was contacted. I told the caller my votes were no, and a half hour later they called again and spoke with someone else. These particular shares are in our company shared 401K account. The second person wasnt up to date on VTSI and said to vote with the recommendation of the board of directors. Damn. Once I explained the vote was for a 100-1 reverse split, he was as pissed as I was.
Why the second call?
Why didnt they ask for me?
I was very clear the first time. I own over 150 thousand in that account and the second guy owns about 10K.
Just putting what happened out there, I want this over also.
I Second what Ray said, Thanks Pat. eom
Not sure why an audit would sound like fear mongering. I believe we all want VTSI to leave the underworld. To be fully reporting, and show itself to respectable investors and true markets.
They can tell me that the share price is going to take a hit because we need to pay for accountants and hire board members so we can get to NASDAQ. I'll invest for years. I'll smile as I lose some current value and even invest more. They've proven they have a real product, and that they are clever, and they didnt run when it got tough. Neither did we. I think we all deserve the next logical step. Big important companies have come out of the muck of Pink sheets. we just need to follow the worn path of those success stories that came before us. Why are we looking for shortcuts? Never seen them work in areas like this.
More preaching to the choir, I don't see anything passing, but writing my thoughts out always helps.
I don't believe anyone knows enough to second guess Mr. Ferris' decisions on running the company, but if you want to hear sage advice on trading in pink sheets, I feel we have some experts on this very board.
- What we all know about this exchange is valuable, and so different than any other exchange.
- Trading on pinks is mostly emotional and the highs and lows that occur on pinks is mainly emotional price points and hunches, not fundamentals, and charting. There are no known numbers without independant auditors. The large traders won't even look at us for very good and time-proven reasons.
- We will not attract NASDAQ traders or institutions by having an $8 share price, but we will deter and stop buying from traders in the exchange we are going to remain. So holding $8 is in grave doubt.
- This exchange is mostly made of untrustworthy companies. The NASDAQ requirements filter out big unknowns WE must constantly wrestle with as investors. Its also why Pinksheet companies can be bought cheaply. No professional trader or organisation will touch a Pink stock because its history speaks for itself.
-Market Makers on Pinks also act differently and appear downright negative to companies with smaller floats. The speads between bid and ask can take 20% and higher differances between buyers and sellers instantly.
We have learned these rules are very real after much trial and great tribulation time and time again. I have the belief that voting no may be the best thing we can do to help VTSI. Its not a negative vote against the mangement, just a checks and balances opinion that we can provide to keep this company from making a mistake. I wouldnt expect good sales people or a talented engineer to know and foresee this as we can. Hopefully he can respect our overwhelmingly strong and hard learned experience to his advantage.
