EDMONTON, ALBERTA, Apr 22, 2008 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Poly-Pacific International Inc. ("Poly-Pacific" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:PMB)(OTCBB:PLYPF) (BERLIN:A0LGDN)(FRANKFURT:POZ) is pleased to announce that it has signed a definitive Joint Venture Agreement with Zhejiang Siecheng Plastic Company Ltd. ("ZSPC").
For several months, Poly-Pacific has been searching for a strong strategic Asian partner to assist the Company with the importation of the nylon fibre into China, in accordance with the applicable laws of that country. This partner would also assist the Company in cleaning, processing (pelletization) and sales throughout Asia.
Located in Baixiang Town, Yueqing City, near Wenzhou, China, ZSPC specializes in the production, processing, recycling and sales of nylon throughout China. With gross annual sales exceeding $110 million Canadian, ZSPC is ISO9001 certified and has been awarded numerous certificates of merit, including "Enterprise of the Year" and "The Top 50 Enterprises" by the Chinese Government.
Under the terms of the Joint Venture Agreement, the Company will be responsible for the reclamation, preliminary cleaning, containerization, export into China and remediation of all landfill sites under contract in accordance with the applicable environmental laws.
ZSPC will be responsible for the purchasing and importation of the nylon in accordance with all applicable laws of China, the processing of the nylon into marketable products for sale or resale. ZSPC will also provide an irrevocable letter of credit from a reputable financial institution acceptable to Poly-Pacific in the face amount of not less than $1,000,000 Canadian that may be drawn by Poly-Pacific to secure payment from third party purchasers.
The Company and ZSCP shall share equally all net profits earned by the Joint Venture Agreement. The business of the Joint Venture will be controlled by a management committee with one or two representatives from each of the Company and ZSCP.
The Joint Venture also stipulates that both the Company and ZSCP will vigorously pursue additional reclamation opportunities on a world-wide basis.

Mar 19, 2008 -- Mezey Howarth Racing Stables (OTCBB: MZYH) today announced that its thoroughbred Three Across completed a workout at Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley, California on early Sunday morning.
Three Across, a three-year-old Gelding, took to the track Sunday morning for a four-furlong workout. Similar workouts will be part of the equine's regular preparation in gearing up for his first race anticipated this summer.
Three Across was sired by Our Emblem. Our Emblem has sired multiple stakes winners, including Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Haskell Invitational Handicap winner, War Emblem. Our Emblem stands as the latest stallion to foster the legacy of Phipps-bred sires. Our Emblem's pedigree is impeccable. He is the son of Sire of Sires Mr. Prospector, sire of 177 Stakes Winners, 15 Champions, 44 Grade 1 Winners and 106 Graded Stakes Winners. Mr. Prospector's sons include Fappiano, Seeking the Gold, Gone West, Forty Niner, Woodman and Gulch. His progeny earnings on the racetrack are currently approaching an astounding $100 Million. Suances (GB) retired with eight wins, a third, and a fourth in 12 starts in Spain, France, and the U.S., earning $402,559 and gaining championship laurels in France. In his Bay Meadows victory he posted a 105 Beyer while beating millionaires Sarafin and The Tin Man and graded stakes winner Decarchy. Suances' first crop are 2 year olds that will be racing in the next few months.
"We decided to go with an unknown sire but whose breeding and record were that of a champion," said President Paul Howarth. "Although currently a new sire his race record is impressive especially considering his career was cut short because of injury. Based off his bloodline and abbreviated career we feel the stable is getting a tremendous value on the stud fee cost of a new sire.
