Connecticut-Based Stock Promoter Ordered to Pay Over $9.6 Million in Stock Touting and Scalping Scheme
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that on February 12, 2014, a Connecticut federal court entered judgments against a former Connecticut-based stock promoter, Jerry S. Williams, and two companies that he controlled, Monk's Den, LLC and First In Awareness, LLC, who are defendants in a Commission enforcement action filed in 2012 alleging that they operated a fraudulent Internet-based stock touting and scalping scheme. The judgments order the defendants to pay a total of over $9.6 million.

Williams, Monk's Den, and First In Awareness were defendants in a civil fraud action filed by the Commission on July 20, 2012. The Commission's complaint alleged that from 2009 through 2010, Williams recommended two stocks, Cascadia Investments, Inc. and Green Oasis, Inc., to a large group of followers who followed his trading recommendations and strategies. Williams, who was known to his followers as "Monk," used his internet-based message board - called Monk's Den - as well as his in-person seminars (called "Monkinars"), and other means, to encourage people to buy, hold, and accumulate Cascadia and Green Oasis stock. In particular, Williams told his followers that by buying up the outstanding shares, or float, of these companies, they could collectively trigger a "short squeeze" that would allow them to sell their stock to "market makers" that had shorted the stock. Williams falsely stated that he had previously used this "Float Lock Down" strategy successfully to make himself and his followers enormous profits. In fact, unknown to his followers, Williams had been hired by Cascadia and Green Oasis to promote their stock and had been compensated with millions of free and discounted shares of these stocks. Williams secretly sold millions of Cascadia and Green Oasis shares at the same time he was encouraging potential investors to buy, hold and accumulate these stocks. Williams made profits of over $2.3 million from his scheme.

Without admitting or denying the allegations in the Commission's complaint, Williams, First In Awareness and Monk's Den consented to final judgments enjoining them from violating Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 thereunder, and as to Williams only, enjoining him from violating Sections 17(a) and 17(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 206(1) and 206(2) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. The final judgments found Williams, Monk's Den, and First In Awareness jointly and severally liable for disgorgement of $2,357,208 in ill-gotten gains plus prejudgment interest of $188,766, ordered each to pay a civil penalty of $2,357,208, and imposed a penny stock bar on Williams.

(OTC Pink: DFCO) is pleased to announce it has reached an agreement with a large Mexican distributor to supply its GlanHealth products to healthcare facilities, commercial businesses, and consumers across Mexico.

The overall contract includes a $10 million minimum order per year with an initial purchase order of $250,000 that has been placed and product shipments that have begun. In return, the distributor will receive exclusivity to cover all states in Mexico. Sales activity for the sanitizing products has sky-rocketed due to the current pandemic. In response, Dalrada Health is working on fulfilling a backlog of orders totaling $1 million with all shipments expected to be completed during the month of May.

The Democratic Party of RFK and JFK was the party of civil liberties and free speech. VP Harris‘s is the party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion.

Kennedy Democrats were anti-war. Kamala‘s is riddled with neocon warmongers.

The RFK/JFK dems were allies of Main Street, cops, firefighters, and working people. VP Harris’s is the Party of Big Tech, Big Pharma and Wall Street.

My dad and uncle’s party was the champion of voting rights and fair elections. VP Harris’s is the party of lawfare, disenfranchisement, and the coronation of its candidates by corporate donors and party elites.

I’ve used our nation’s courts to prosecute corporations who hurt Black Americans. VP Harris used our nation’s courts to mercilessly prosecute Black Americans and exploit them for their labor.

My father and uncle prided themselves on their skills at debate and their ability to articulate a coherent vision for our country. VP Harris is scared to debate and can’t survive an unscripted interview. Instead of outlining a vision, she relies on middleschool tactics – memes, forged headlines, infantile slogans (Joy!) and name calling (“Republicans are weird.“)

I’ve spent years battling government corruption and lies. VP Harris spent years gaslighting Americans about the health of our Commander in Chief.

I have no plans to endorse Kamala Harris for President. I do have a plan to defeat her.

And then there is JPMorgan Chase – the poster boy for everything that is wrong with the U.S. financial system today. JPMorgan Chase has the distinction of admitting to five criminal felony counts brought by the U.S. Department of Justice since 2014 while still being allowed by its regulators to grow wildly in scope and size.

Under the Dodd-Frank financial “reform” legislation, banks were required to relinquish their ownership of hedge funds. But instead, JPMorgan Chase retained its stake in the hedge fund, Highbridge Capital Management, whose sale to the bank was brokered by the sex trafficker of children, Jeffrey Epstein, who remained a pampered client at the bank for more than 15 years, despite his serving jail time and being placed on a sex-offender registry.

The now settled federal lawsuit brought by the Attorney General of the U.S. Virgin Islands alleged that JPMorgan Chase had “actively participated” in Epstein’s sex trafficking. A Memorandum of Law arguing for partial summary judgment in the case, makes the following points:

“Even if participation requires active engagement…there is no genuine dispute that JPMorgan actively participated in Epstein’s sex-trafficking venture from 2006 until 2019. The Court found allegations that the Bank allowed Epstein to use its accounts to send dozens of payments to then-known co-conspirators [redacted] provided excessive and unusual amounts of cash to Epstein; and structured cash withdrawals so that those withdrawals would not appear suspicious ‘went well beyond merely providing their usual [banking] services to Jeffrey Epstein and his affiliated entities’ and were sufficient to allege active engagement.”

The U.S. Virgin Islands’ attorneys cite to internal emails at JPMorgan Chase showing that employees at the bank were aware of Epstein’s “[c]ash withdrawals … made in amounts for $40,000 to $80,000 several times a month” while also being aware that Epstein paid his underage sexual assault victims in cash.

JPMorgan Chase’s involvement in the Epstein sex trafficking ring was also alleged in a class action lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase brought by lawyers David Boies and Bradley Edwards on behalf of Epstein’s victims. (JPMorgan Chase paid $290 million to settle that case last year.) At a March 13, 2023 court hearing in the case, Boies argued in open court that JPMorgan Chase had used a private jet owned by its hedge fund, Highbridge Capital Management, to transport girls for Epstein’s sex trafficking operation. A January 13, 2023 amended complaint filed by Boies’ law firm provided the following details on that allegation:

“As another example of JP Morgan and [Jes] Staley’s benefit from assisting Epstein, a highly profitable deal for JP Morgan was the Highbridge acquisition.

“In 2004, when Epstein’s sex trafficking and abuse operation was running at full speed, Epstein served up another big financial payday for JP Morgan.

“Epstein was close friends with Glenn Dubin, the billionaire who ran Highbridge Capital Management.

“Through Epstein’s connection, it has been reported that Staley arranged for JP Morgan to buy a majority stake in Dubin’s fund, which resulted in a sizeable profit for JP Morgan. This arrangement was profitable for both Staley and JPMorgan, further incentivizing JP Morgan to ignore the suspicious activity in Epstein’s accounts and to assist in his sex-trafficking venture.

“For example, despite that Epstein was not FINRA-certified, Epstein was paid more than $15 million for his role in the Highbridge/JP Morgan deal.

“Moreover, Highbridge, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JP Morgan, trafficked young women and girls on its own private jet from Florida to Epstein in New York as late as 2012.”

There appears to be little to no guardrails or moral compass on Wall Street in its pursuit of profits. That will doom both it and the U.S. economy if federal regulators continue to stand down.

There is not much evidence that shares are in short supply for institutions. Institutional ownership still way under 50%. Anavex is not yet an institution-caliber equity - not something that pension funds, for example, should be buying. When Anavex actually executes then that will change.

Regarding the shelf offering, Missling was careful in his answer that it was not for any “immediate” cash need, but rather for a potential need in the future (i.e. EMA approval requiring establishing manufacturing and marketing channels overseas). Regarding the FDA, Missling stated that their energy and focus presently is with the EMA submission. He mentioned that once the EMA is done, most of that work is applicable to the FDA filing.
