Thanks for posting Tom Cs Report Jim!
IMO it is a very honest report. He has mentioned many of my past and present concerns. I believe hes stating tactfully, publicly that Harry has to much power and control with in IDCC. (Harrys way or the highway) Now we must wait and see if our new Institutional investors can take notice of Toms report and turn some screws at IDCC to have some changes made. Only then can the company move forward in a substantial way into the future with the right changes and new faces.
IMO Toms report is a breath of fresh air and very much needed.
Thanks Tom Carpenter if your reading this board.

L2V Nice short overview of the past! EOM
LOL! No it wasnt me.
I just saw some of your other negative posts at RB and thought you might have bailed.
Im still just hanging out. Got stopped out of most of mine around $25.
I really did like the earnings report though.
Moose
So AMS
Was that you dumping before the close on this news today?
Just curious.
Thanks!

Mschere Question
I know you keep pretty close numbers on IDCC. Can you give me an esitmate of what (after the Ericy settlement) IDCCs current or future cash per share value is and or book value?
I know it should be higher than what is out there but right now I dont have a clue and I thought it might give holders here a little relief at this time.
Thanks!
Moose
Thanks DATA for reposting that interview. EOM
ALLEY
I always appreciate your posts.
I hope your technicals and opinions are correct. Very well thought out.
Heres my worries. The money from Nokia and Samsung to be recieved has been pushed out to nobody knows for sure how long. A few quarters or 2 years. It definitely wont be next week or the week after.
Im under the impression the over all market is about to correct which may cause more selling until Sept. I dont think the recent sell off was enough for IDCCs drop to be over although we had good volume today. The day before was a tremendous drop and to short lived IMO not to see futher follow through. Im affraid if the selling doesnt slow down the buyers will have spent their wads shortly. Hopefully the big drops are over and we ll only see a slow decline over time with no news, market decline and this not so good time of the year for the markets.
Nobody wants to talk about what the earnings are going to be this quarter and next now that we ve lost the Samsung and Nokia funds for the next few quarters. I know they wont be horrible but are they good enough to maintain the current valuation?
Now I hope none of these things come about except upward share valuation. But I think one should be very cautious in here and give this a little time to see where were going before jumping in with more than both feet. We ve just made a big move will it continue?
But thats my opinion and Im not trying to talk anyone out of or into anything. Just a word of caution.
Best to all!
Moose
Unfortunitely I dont think we re stuck in the mud.
Nothing positive. No answers to what Nokias wants or up to or looking for. No known time limit as to how long this will take. Just that theres a good possibility it will take place in the US.
Ive got that sinking feeling myself.
This reminds me of the song some where over the rainbow.
Sorry guys I dont think this looks to good for a while. Lucky we ve held up as good as we have today.
Moose
Glenny
What are your conclusions on this litigation with Nokia?
IMO the CC will produce no new news. Hope Im wrong but management will try and answer some questions and maybe some damage control. No fluff is going to help them now so we better be hearing some positive facts.
But the big damage has already been done. Im hearing margin calls from some investors so more selling coming in the next few days. The up momentum has taken a huge hit and without some real positive news Im affraid futher downside is in the future. Many long holders and supporters have taken hits. Thats hard to regain their trust. I realize this was unforseen by most of us but IDCC management IMO new there was trouble and dumped that PR on its investors with little warning.
Lets all hope there is something really positive in todays CC or our share price maybe be tanking further. If the large institutions start dumping after the call, God help us all.
Moose
Hey ya TEXB!
Well maybe theyve got a great forcaster of interst and mortgage rates like TeeCee.
2 years ago I asked him for some advice on interest rates when purchasing my home. He has been right on the money over time. Even though I didnt take all of his advice I still locked in a good rate but would have done much better doing what he advised me.
So maybe IDCC is looking for lower rates and possibly other plans.
But good of you to point this out.
Moose
Well someone seems to know a lot about this IMO.
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=999386
On the other hand. IMO I dont think Management should have asked for more options until after the shareholders got some of that substantial appreciation we ve been hearing about.
IDCC has shown us the money for the time being but IMO they have tainted some of this appreciation themselves.
Now I think management, with this release, they are retaliating against all shareholders. Whats with that? Can you answer that?
IMO they seem to think IMO they are in this for themselves and screw the shareholders. Anyway thats the opinion Im getting from their latest moves.
I still think we ll see plenty of stock appreciation but Im just not real happy with managements attitude lately for all of our years of hanging in there through the bad times as well.
But here we are today making new highs which IMO should have been much higher by a buck or 2 without this nonsense from them. I fully expected to see a gap up this morning.
Gave all that still believe though one more chance to buy some more.
Moose
TeeCee
Once took credit for it yesterday. I wasnt sure what he was talking about when I replied to his post but today it is quite clear IMO.
Moose
ONCE What are you talking about?????????????????
You are so full of yourself its sickening!
I suppose we are going to hear next of how you helped investors get into IDCC.
Give me a break already!
If nothing else youve probably talked the unknowing out of a darn good investment.
I think we ve figured this investment out without any of your nonsense crap.
Moose
Re:OT Quicken
Hey ole friend! I looked in my address book but I think Ive only got your old Email address.
Mine is still the same which is posted in my RB page.
Good to hear from you.
Moose
Themaude
I agree with what you posted. But we ll probably never know if they have or had goals other than their own financial ones sense it may effect national and or global security to put out any of that sort of information to the shareholders. In another words I get the impression management believes its none of our business and they have a problem with us because they might have to share something with the shareholders.
Time is getting shorter as to where our share price is headed. To tell you the truth with what I believe I think its up. But like we ve seen before, Im prepare to take it in the shorts again one last time.
IMO the potentials there like we ve been lead to believe with scraps of information provided and statements like Engine and Transmission and substantial returns. But reckoning day is near with the truth of the matter. So before long there wont be much more to argue about. Either they ve done the job or their off the pot IMO.
In the mean time Im becoming very tired along with many others as well. Theres to many other stocks out there that actually have some potentials and no where near all the closely held secert stuff. Much more up front and shareholder friendly managements too.
Best to you and lets hope for good returns next week.

Of course they didn't have any revenues as of June, did you expect the revenues to show up before the subscribers?
At least the GSTRF satellites are tangible assets that work very well. Do you know how much it would cost to build a terrestrial network with equivalent worldwide coverage? Are you starting to get the picture now?
IDCC is $13/share
GSTRF is $9/share
Once
No didnt think so. Thats right they went belly up after you were pushing them or should I say pumping.
Hummm seems like another buyer beware to me.
IDCC 23.59 GSTRF 000.00
Moose
Once I remember when you said sell at $6 EOM
Hey another form 4 how wonderful EOM
The thing is I dont really want
a law suit. I want to know what the heck is actually going on. If its criminal. I want personal prosecution. If they just dumb butted into this I want change. Most of all I want to know what heck is actually going on with our company. No more CIA we have to keep this all hush hush. This is a publicly traded company and they need to disclose to their shareholders whenever possible. Not blow smoke up their you no what one day and then pull the rug out the next. I want somebodies but.
The cards that we all have waited for so long have been laid on table. Problem is I feel like the dealer has been dealing off the bottom of the deck to his buddies and has just now got caught.
I just cant believe anyone could be so stupid to pull this off by accident.
Do we have someone on the short side of this gravy train getting information from the inside? Seems funny that only yesterday and the day before I saw posts that IDCC was about to be down graded. We ll have to wait and see now for this event after today. I really thought that they were just scare tactics by the shorts and ridiculous BS. But IMO theres just been to many times when the shorts knew ahead of time what was going on. Many here know that. They also knew that more insider selling was coming.
I wanted to believe like the rest of you that we have a winner here but this crap just doesnt seem to end.
They ve got their chance to reply. If not we ll just have to wait and see.
I hope Im all upset over nothing but this is BS IMO.
Moose
I hope Im wrong but after today
I think the dumping has only started by shareholders.
You cant in this market talk out of both sides of you mouth to investors and not suffer repurcussions.
I feel another $2 if not $3 drop tomorrow if management remains silent.
Im not trying to negative but just truthful.
Darn this makes me mad!
What the heck were they thinking. Let me guess. Cheaper options soon.
CRAP!!!!!
Moose
Im not going to argue about this here.
I sent an Email to IDCC. If I do not hear from them or they do not completely clariffy the 10-K soon. Im going to seek action one way or another.
A few political contacts Im sure can get to the bottom of this crap if IDCC chooses to ignore shareholders.
This should have all been laid out to shareholders before the run up and no later than the CC.
The insider dumping IMO is the proof of quilt. But Ill let the real experts sort through whats, what if management doesnt follow through with some answers soon.
Moose
Bill D your a nice guy but
IMO management is talking out both sides of their mouth.
Now yes in the future our share value in the future may increase again but mangement has pumped enough sunshine up my you know what for a while.
How can you on one side tell shareholders how wonderful everything is going to be while dumping all of their shares on the other. Its pure BS to me. Im stuck with what I got. Nobody is going to issue me any options to sell when a share price peak comes along for 3 or 4 times its value on insider info. We as shareholders should profit as well. After all thats what its all about isnt it.
We can only trust these guys to give us the info we need to make our decisions. IMO they havent provided the whole truth to the shareholders and held relivant info back from us for their own personal wealth.
Maybe its time somebody pays them a little visit and ask the question why are you guys really so seceretive. I think I now have the answer.
Sorry to be so negative but IMO theres some real BS going on here.
Moose
IM not buying anymore until $12.50 or less.
The only thing I know that would top the latest news is
To find out management has also gone short.
I must say I feel like we were hood winked.
Things in the 10-K that came out should have been discussed during the CC IMO.
I can now see their plan for investor valuation. I believe those so called meetings were held well before the the CC.
As to the future I feel like I was misled by what was said at the CC.
Should have had this figured out when we only settled for 34 million from Ericsson. I want to trust but my trust has now been compromised by these jerks.
I believe I can see a set up.
I hope we can recover by this fall.
Hope we got enough of us left around to buy anymore shares.
This is very sad to say the least.
Im sure theres some here that protected their positions. I just never felt it was necesary until now. But I guess its a little late for that.
Im certainly glad the sun is shining in KOP. But then again it may not be for long looking from between the bars.
Moose
Jim Thank you very much for the HL report.
I found it very reasurring. How many times did I count conservative estimates?
I can understand some being frustrated with the pull back.
But here we have a company with no debt. $1.70 a share cash position soon to double. Huge increasing future earnings. On top of the next generation of new technology. Partnered with the best and biggest companies in the industry. Has risen from the ashes like the Phoenix in the worst bear market that has ever happened. Has only 300 employees making the cash flow pretty much all gravy. And just maybe we are at or near the bottom of this bear market. Why would investors sell and sideliners not buy is beyond me. IDCC has never, never been in such an outstanding position. Very few companies on WS right now can claim to be in such a wonderful position.
IMO I think Toms report quite wisely is putting out a positive but wait and see what actually happens outlook. You cant blame him for that but the future for IDCC has now already been wrote down in the book.
IDCC is now IMO not the same old IDCC. I know many will disagree but with the Ericsson settlement done. IDCC now has clout in the market place.
I dont know what the reason is for this sell off but I sure believe we have a lot higher prices to go. Hopefully when the fast buck folks get done and the thieves are full and fat with shares stolen our valuation will once again begin to appreciate.
Thanks again for the report Jim!
I truely enjoyed it and Im truely happy to be a shareholder.
Now lets get this darn war over with!

Ericsson Appoints New Management Team
Monday March 17, 11:46 am ET
Sweden's Wireless Equipment Maker Ericsson Appoints New Management Team
STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) -- Wireless equipment maker LM Ericsson said Monday it had appointed a new deputy chief executive and other key figures on its management team.
The Stockholm-based company said last month that CEO Kurt Hellstroem would retire in April and would be replaced by Carl-Henric Svanberg, the CEO of international lock maker Assa Abloy.
Per-Arne Sandstroem was named deputy CEO while Karl-Henrik Sundstroem was named chief financial officer and executive vice president.
They, along with Svanberg will take over as the company's new executive management team April 8 at the company's annual meeting.
"The new ... team gives us continued strong focus on our restructuring work as well as high customer focus," Svanberg said.
Sandstroem has spent 15 years at Ericsson, including stints as president of its North American market area and head of the former Business Unit GSM systems.
He also helped guide the company's massive restructuring since 2001 as chief operating officer, and he will continue to perform that task.
Sundstroem, most recently vice president and general manager of the global services unit, is replacing Sten Fornell, who will leave the company at the end of the year.
Ericsson, along with other telecom-equipment makers have been hard hit as operators and providers cut back spending on their current networks and pushed back plans for new, faster networks in a bid to preserve cash.
The company has been cutting costs and trimming its work force. When it started in 2001, the company employed 107,000 worldwide. By the end of 2002, Ericsson employed more than 64,600.
Separately, the company said it settled a patent dispute with InterDigital Communications Corp., a move that helped it avoid a trial this spring.
Under the agreement, Ericsson will pay InterDigital $58 million for its use of technology developed by the American company in mobile phones and equipment that it has sold for cell phone networks.
OT Tucker
Well theres a big difference in a distribution warehouse and a retail store.
First of all they dont have greeters LOL! Well maybe they do. They have a security shake down wwhen you go in or out.
No I dont work there but I know somebody very close to me thats a traffic manager for Walmart.
Anyway my point was theres jobs and money to be made if one wants to earn better wages you have to go out and find it.
I know your statement is probably a big joke on my part.
But thats okay I dont mind.
I got a pretty good, carefree life here except for IDCC LOL!
Best to ya!
Moose
Hey Loop.
I understand your frustration. These are some rough times trying to sort all of this market and the economy out.
I only want to add one thing here. Buckeye the small farming town I live in Arizona has a small population. But yet is the 3rd largest city in Arizona area size. Before Wal-Mart showed up the town was about to dry up and blow away.
Wal-Mart came in here and put up a distribution center. The wages they pay where unheard of in this area before they arrived for unskilled labor.
Starting salaries are close to $13 an hour now whether you can speak English or not. With in a year of employment the salary can can go easily to $14 to $15 an hour.
This little town now is in a boom growing and building like crazy.
Now maybe your talking about store wages but all retail is that way now a days.
Hang in there buddy!
Best to ya!
Moose
Ge Jim
I was thinking more between $13.50 to $14.50 extreme and with $13.75 to $14.30 being the norm between now to the end of March to mid April. I still agree with what you are saying but IMO it seems buyers are only willing to buy to a high point and sellers are only willing to do the same on the low end.
Id like to see the start of a break out to and above $15 this week to change this.
Part of the problem is this terrorist market and buyers being unsure whether there will be another trial delay at this time IMO.
Just another scenario. I was looking for yours but decided this one was a possibility as well due to market and stock conditions at this time.
Thanks for your reply.
Moose
Ge JIM On the other hand theres one more direction.
I agree with what your saying but couldnt we continue to trade in this zone for an extended amount of time until we get some news or go to trial.
IMO if theres a lot of money involved in the options Call and Puts. If this level is maintained alot of them would expire worthless with few gains either way. A lot of option holders and long traders got burnt on the last trial delay and might not be willing to go to far out on a limb this time until we are at trial.
I had your same thoughts but the end of this week came up with the above trying to sort this out and come up with a break out direction. After I bought a few Call options LOL!
Time will tell.
Thanks for your opinions and technicals.
Moose
Loop I agree totally. EOM
The thing Im hoping about a win is
Even if Ericsson appeals IDCC has other companies waiting to pay them on a decision by the court or a settlement.
So IMO even if an appeal continues to drag this out. IDCC should be able to carry on and recieve new, past due revenues hopefully.
Moose
Plfminthemiddle I think I can answer for Jim and others here.
You can ask and get all of the DD and reserch information thats out there here. You can get technical chart information here.
You can get speculation and opinions here.
But one thing that is left up to investors is to pick their own spot to buy sell or place their bet with the information that is provided.
I hope you friend invests in IDCC.
Best to ya!
Moose
Clarence Thats funny LOL!
But dont you think Ericsson needs to at least pay up first on what they've recieved from licensing IPR to others on, sense they infringed on someone elses IPR?
I think so.
Dont do the crime if you cant pay the fine! LOL!
Moose
If we keep trading like this in here.
Seems to me we are building solid support if nothing negative comes about. Any support in the over all market and IDCC share price takes off.
I really like what Im seeing but what do I know LOL!
Moose
TeeCee
Thats why I think it is traders covering there positions. That has probably worked in the past for them but IMO you cant make money like that now if we get a settlement.

Camera phones soared in 2002
By: Jørgen Sundgot, Tuesday 25th February 2003, 20:31 GMT
According to the latest numbers from Strategy Analytics, more than 18 million camera phones were sold worldwide in 2002 - and the numbers are expected to double in 2003.
The latest Wireless Device Strategies report from research firm Strategy Analytics concludes that 18 million mobile phones with embedded digital cameras were sold worldwide in 2002. Of these, 13 million were sold in Japan with Vodafone-owned J-Phone topping the charts. For now, Europe and North America still find themselves playing catch-up with the Japanese wireless market.
Neil Mawston, a senior analyst with Strategy Analytics' Global Wireless Practice, noted, "9 million camera phones, 7 percent of total sales, were sold worldwide in Q4 2002, leading to a total of 18 million sold worldwide in 2002. 36 percent of camera phone sales were through a Vodafone carrier in 2002, a very impressive performance."
David Kerr, Vice President of Strategy Analytics also commented on the report, stating that Japanese vendors, such as Sharp and Toshiba, are leveraging their experience to gain a wedge into the infantile camera phone market in Europe and North America.
Other key findings from the Strategy Analytics report include Nokia accounting for 91 percent of GSM camera phone sales worldwide in 2002 with the Series 60-based Nokia 7650, which is to be succeeded by the Nokia 3650 shortly. Meanwhile, Samsung accounted for 24 percent of CDMA camera phone sales worldwide in 2002.
AMS There you go again and that is not true. EOM
OT AMS Nothing strange about your posts though huh?
Same old same O.
Your just going after bigger fish now trying to disrupt and discredit IDCC and posters with your twisting and crapolia.
I really dont understand if you are so down on IDCC and this board. Why do you continue to come here and maintain an investment in IDCC as you claim other than for your own warpped need for your mental state of self twisted entertainment.
I hope this is some kinda of therapy recommended by your doctor and its having a postive effect on your state of being.
Have a nice day!

Anybody talked to KOP this morning?
I havent, thinking their phone will be ringing off the hook LOL!
Im sure there wont be much of an answer yet. All of this Top Serect stuff you know LOL!
I just thought somebody might have gotten through and got some info on the Friday release. Sure would be nice if they would just explain themselves in the release. If there is one.
Thanks!
