This is modified from a post on a board of a company I invest in.
The story of investment.
Years ago someone got a bright idea or came up with an invention. They needed money to make their dreams a reality. They would go to some people and offer them a tiny slice of the company they were building in exchange for some money. The tiny slices were called shares and there were just so many of them. You could hold them in your hand - they were physical certificates just like the dollar bills you have in your wallet. Like the dollar bills of that time (that were backed up by gold), these certificates had tangible assets to back them up. If the company made it, the holders of these shares got rich or richer. If the company didn't make it, you lost your money but not because of foul play or a swindle but because of competition or inferior product or other supply and demand matters. It was a very simple game with easy to understand rules.
It was nice while it lasted. Those days have been gone for a long time.
These days you don't get your physical certificates and many share holders are actually "holding" - digitally - shares that don't exist except in the mind of some market maker. Like today's dollar bills (which have not been backed up by gold since Nixon) there is nothing to back up many shares that are sold. The dilution of many companies is not done by the Board of Directors or CEO selling their shares or expanding the float but by market makers selling shares they don't have and shorting them. The people that most earnestly declare this to not be happening are in the employ of market makers or OTC Hedge Funds that make money stealing it from average middle class investors.
This is not to say that some, even many, pink/OTC companies are not pie in the sky or outright scams. However these days with the internet and other sources it is very, very easy to spot a scam if you do your due diligence.
When you weed out the bad companies you are left with good, earnest companies that employ actual people and will build the future if allowed to do so.
Over time, the relentless market maker manipulation of good company's stock destroys them. This shorting enriches the market maker and his henchmen (paid posters and bashers and people hired to buy shares and sell them at strategic times) but it destroys companies, jobs and eventually a society.
Who needs companies in America anyways? We can always get all our goods from China and ship our jobs over there and all of us can work for nothing at Burger King and produce nothing of value in this country. It is already happening but you don't want to see it. You walk by the once great neighborhood and it is a slum. You take a business trip to Detroit and pretend you don't see what could easily pass as a European city in 1944.
The rest of the world has figured out how to dethrone the United States as the world's greatest superpower. Our foreign policy is so despicable how could we not be despised in many places. The destruction of this country could NEVER be done militarily because of a nuclear arsenal that could destroy all life 10 times over, and the will of the great American people. The way to destroy America is economically through unfair trade agreements, use of child and peasant labor, inflating oil prices, currency manipulation and other dirty tricks. We know this to be the case and yet we whistle through the graveyard.
When you allow shorting and bashing campaigns to go on and you give up on good companies or get into the short term gains games, you play into all of the above.
This country will never make it if people don't take a stand and put their money into good American companies based in America hiring Americans and producing products in America for Americans. Think about that the next time you are making a decision about what to do with your investment dollars.

TELVUE, TEVE is such a company. Real products, real people, real company. Consider getting your money out of that project to build a retirement community in Siberia or find gold by excavating the lost city of Atlantis. PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE IT COUNTS AND LEAVE IT THERE.
If you don't understand these things you will never understand this company and why we invest in it.
TEVE. Telvue. 2 press releases yesterday and financials in days.
TEVE. good news out.
Thanks for the chart.
From Mike:
"lots on the go, as well on the corporate structure side, IR side and making the company more investor friendly, we are working on doing a dual listing in canada, and the audit and registration statement are nearly complete for the annual return. Expecting the Chinese here to kick off the JV in August, i don't think any of this is non-public, but i see this period as opportunity to downward average if people got in at a higher price, we will have some news out shortly that I hope will be well received and answer a lot of questions."
So there you have it.
PS Go CPOW (and TEVE)

Financials soon!
About 60,000 shares appear to stand between us and 5.00 per share if you add up what these market makers claim to have. Of course the other day they had to short 100 to fill an order for 100 shares but I'm just sayin'.
TEVE. Get this. 100 shares traded yesterday. 100 shares SHORTED. Make no mistake the 100 shares were a BUY, I know who bought them. Means the market maker on the Ask HAS NO SHARES and even has to short a measly 100. Time to pile in on this one and make the MOASS.
Yeah the market maker shorted the full 100 shares that traded today. They have no shares and none of the 250 shareholders of record are parting with any of the mere 10M shares in the float.
TEVE up 11%. See recent press releases for what's coming. Financials in about 30 days.
TEVE up 11% and will go higher. See recent press releases and a 5 year graph showing that UP trend.

The 9000 shares that for 2 weeks were being passed back and forth between market makers are still being passed around, only they are 8300 now because someone bought some of them.
Now they are in the hands of VERT who doesn't come here very often at all and is a hired gun.
If anyone is so kind as to take these 8300 shares out of VERT's hands I would be much appreciated.
TEVE. News out and stock is up 56% YTD. Visit the TelVue board and www.telvue.com.
Ummmmm, that's a tough question...
NO I don't think someone sold $62.50 worth of stock. No one is THAT desperate for money, not even ME.
Some lucky bastard got shares at Bid, that's all.
Did you notice poor little market maker STXG that was supposedly selling shares for 25 cents all week has run and hid behind a 5 dollar Ask?
Means if someone buys those few thousand shares at 20 we will jump to 27 in a heartbeat. Any takers? You can instantly make 7 cents on each share purchased...
TEVE. TelVue.
Eventually this steady stream of news is going to catch the attention of saavy investors. It is obvious TelVue is putting something there for the future, building slowly but surely. One notices their press releases are not high-falootin'. They are always matter-of-fact. It's not Letters of Intent this and Memorandum of Understanding that. They don't talk about things that could be, only things that are. It's not just the news either. I looked at a 5 year graph of TelVue today and that is a very handsome graph there.
On other boards they sometimes talk about Kool-Aid. Kool-Aid is that story about what "could be" that people are supposed to drink and get on the bandwagon over. Usually these Kool-Aid stories are quite absurd. We WILL find gold and then everyone will be rich. We WILL sell such and such to China or Brazil or Russia. We WILL build something over in Oman or Kenya or Trinidad and Tobago.
The only Kool-Aid here is that we have a winner folks. We have a company that is on firm footing and ready to take off on its own merits. If NITE were not fiddling with it we'd surely be in a better place with the shareprice. But in a bizarre and unintentional way the jerk on the OTC desk at NITE is helping because folks that don't have much money can possibly get some shares relatively cheaply and will join us in the winner's circle soon.
This thing is like a coiled spring. When that thing releases it is going to take someone's head off, hopefully Thiefy McStupid over at NITE.
I also have a particular future in mind for TelVue if they were to take the idea and run with it.
Americans seem obsessed with Reality TV. A SHORT list of popular reality TV shows:
The Bachelor
The Bachelorette
Survivor
Top Chef
Project Runway
Jersey Shore
The Real Housewives of Orange Co./New Jersey/New York/DC/Atlanta
American Idol
Keeping up with the Kardashians
Any of the above has made millions of dollars for their respective networks (ABC, Fox, Bravo, MTV, etc.) and the companies that advertise with them.
Add to this the popularity of on-line websites like YouTube (which has a slogan of "Broadcast Yourself") and you could easily see that anyone, if provided with the tools, could create their own personal TV network.
Imagine a nation of Independent TV Networks broadcast out of people's homes, offices, basements (think Wayne's World) and garages, using TelVue for the broadcasting and accessible by anyone through a $79.00 Roku box.
All that would be required would be TelVue coming up with an inexpensive home digital broadcast server and anyone with a digital video camera could create their own shows for syndication or even their own independent network.
In a nation that spends huge amounts of time watching TV and sitting at a computer this could be quite the sensation.
TEVE news out, up 56% year to date.

As surely as the sun will rise tomorrow, someone is going to come along and finally notice this stock that has more money than God.
When it happens, woe is me we will hear the sob stories of woulda, coulda, shoulda from those that sat on the sidelines too long.
Hard to believe there are so few people interested in a company that is American based, American run, making real products and delivering real services in America to Americans.
Oh well I will go over to the phone and pick it up and order my copy of Rosetta Stone in Mandarin so when the Chinese take over I will be able to talk to them.
