Right, but the PR is suggesting its one OR the other ( not both ). So its either KATX or "selected properties" that are going to uplist. Its like the selected properties could be a subdivision buying out a shell to the OTCBB or KATX could be uplisting itself to the OTCBB.
Well we shouldn't be throwing that out there because that just gets rumors started. Watch, someone on a YAHOO board is going to say they heard KATX is buying out a shell company to uplist on the OTCBB.
Hmmm.. Idk. I know its cheaper to go through a shell company and a lot easier, but these guys are already on the market. Whatever shares we have I doubt will be converted over to the "next" KATX listing if something like that were to happen. It just doesn't make sense. But what if their "other properties" turn into a subdivision of KATX and then gets listed on the OTCBB while the original KATX stays on pinksheets. Hah... just a thought. I still don't like that part of the PR using "KAT exploration OR selected properties" . That removes complete clarity in my opinion.
They usually will put out a PR stating that from whatever date the PR is, 60 days out, they will be uplisted to the OCTBB - granted they meet the requirements. I've seen a PINKSHEET company claim to be uplisting within 60 days and on the 59th day they PR'd saying that they chose to volutarily withdraw uplisting due to audits not being able to fully comply with the SEC. That was my red flag to GTFO fast and take profits. That company smelled fishy anyway.
With KATX I've seen more transparency with this one than I have with any other pinksheet company. When they say they look towards uplisting, I can believe it. However, what stirs me is the fact that they put KAT Exploration OR selected properties. That throws things into a new perspective for me. It seems like the gamble is a little riskier now.
Actually.... they have the word "or" in there. So that's either KATX that will go OTCBB or "selected properties"
KAT Exploration believes that significant valuation will come from its Handcamp property and are exploring options for the company placing itself or selected properties on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) market.
placing itself or selected properties on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board
Nice.. someone sticky this somewhere.
I like how the upper BB bounces off the 50-day in late march. That tells me that a lot of chartists are playing this.
What are you talking about guy? How is the dollar suppose to be the only game in town when the whole system of the dollar is dangerously close to collapsing? We've printed so much money that I'd hate to here how much gold actually backs it.
Hahahaha.... sorry. I forgot there was only 30 days in June. It took me a minute to figure out WTF you were trying to say.... so I ended up doing more DD on the company and realizing there just wasn't a June 31st. LOL
On the same note with share borrowing, you have nothing to worry about if you have a cash account. The only way your brokerage can allow YOUR shares to be borrowed is if you have a MARGIN account. If you DO have a MARGIN account you can do exactly what Er0ck stated and call your brokerage to have shares of a specific stock excluded from being borrowed. You can also have your whole portfolio blocked from being borrowed against. Always call your broker and ask them
good till date.... lol .. I wish it was good till death
GTC on scottrade only lasts for 30 days. I have mine set at GTD which can go as far out as june 31st

APPA is making a big run on no news right now... I wonder if info on FDA approval was leaked.
We're looking at summertime for the coiled spring to spring loose! I still don't know if selling at .50 is a good idea...
That's great that they reduced the A/S !! I'm surprised it didnt jump 10 fold.
I can't flip this one... I've married it and will divorce it when it turns .50 =)
Im in a huge dilemma right now Erock... should I sell at .50 or a $1? Either way one or the other will happen at that price.
I finally got my fill at .054
What in the world is going on here... how tight are these shares again? Only 8,500 shares traded and I can't even get a fill on the ASK? What the...
Wow... I've got a buy order in at the ASK of .054 and it still hasnt gotten filled. I must be waiting take it off someone elses hands because this thing is trading tightly.
Ah... That makes sense Erock. Thanks.
Hmm... I dont think KATX will be wrapped up in any of that. Remember... these guys are in the exploration phase. They aren't going to put in an application to work for vale... lol
So much is staked out for KATX. That's like saying you discovered a $1 billion dollar diamond mine and you're going to let your neighbor buy you out for $100 million and you're going to work for him too. So that PR on Vale doesn't really relate too much to KATX.
Holy cow.... for what?
That's probably enough to give men over 45 a heart attack. I think that might be too much info packed in one PR. I know I couldn't handle it, but I know my scottrade account could =)
OOOoooooo mannnn.... It looks like that money might be filtering our way!
We should be getting news on APPA this week shouldn't we sheff? What are the prospects on that with the recent drop in PPS. Its something that I didn't expect to happen.
LOL!! Realistically that brick of mine will only contain 4% of Gold, 24% Copper, and 72% Zinc. Hopefully the Zinc will cover your operating costs XD .
If I sh*t a brick of gold I'll make sure to give you your share 911 ;) lol
Whenever that NI43-101 comes out I'm probably going to sh*t a brick. I'm extremely anxious and waiting for it!!!!!
Correctomundo . Like I said... its weak hands. When a lot of people sell at the bid the price will drop. Sideways trading is a good thing though. The next major event that is PR'ed will start sending this towards heaven. It's got quite a few steps though to hit the sky, but thats what being long is all about ( walking those steps all the way up to the sky =) )
EDIT: You nailed it on the head Erock. Look at the spread lol
I hear ya. I do that with stocks that have higher volatility in a 10 day period though and have forward looking events ( biotech plays ). A stock like this is best suited for a long position in my opinion. I'm still beating myself up for selling my 10k shares of ford at 2.40 while taking the position at 1.30. Never thought it would be at a 4 year high right now.
Somewhat off topic, but still relating to KATX, I tried to place an order this morning at .059 and scottrade gave me this message "Your account is closed from placing transactions." That scared me really bad. I thought maybe a stock I had sold last week was accidentally sold on a free ride. Turns out I just needed to update my mailing address since the one they had file came back as "unserviceable."
The drop of the price per share today is more than likely a result a weak hands ( new investors or slightly seasoned penny investors ) that wanted to flip this within a week or 2 after trying to wait for a massive jump. IT'S all too common. =) However, these lower levels are starting to entice me into buying even more. The last stock I felt this confident in made me over 20 grand. I really do appreciate the DD everyone has already done! Thanks guys!
Wait... what do you mean by struck out?
probably needs to be stickied... definitely
See the blue highlighted area in the RSI chart? Thats the sky... and that's where the PPS is heading ;)
Very true Erock. Pinksheet companies can do what they please. They don't have to file with the sec, any financials they file can be half assed and misleading, and they can misconstrue PR's enough to where they mislead investors while still being able to protect themselves from hot water. By uplisting to OTCBB and higher they have to become extremely transparent and always keep the SEC up-to-date with filings. I've seen one company that was on the PINKSHEETS claiming they were 60 days away from uplisting to OTCBB and on the 59th day they voluntarily pulled their uplisting ( which was a very bad sign ) stating that they needed to make sure their financials complied with SEC regulations. That was definitely a scam company, but with KATX I've seen nothing shady about the CEO and the fact that the share structure has went from the billions to the millions is a HUGE plus. KATX also is very transparent right now! This company has a VERY HIGH chance of uplisting to OTCBB and becoming a very solid and very profitable company. The DD here has been laid out and is very thorough. Stop sweating it people and give it time.
