LOL!!!! My DD says BONAR has been ripping off stuckholdrers for approximately 50 years/
My ethical foundation dictates that I should disseminate that knowledge.
My Spiritual foundation says that I should fight against a corrupt network that kept the disabled from accessing AI assistance for over a decade.
This is real and it relates to BONAR's corrupt international network. There is nothing here that is not safe and true.

No you're not tripping...
Google shut down your browser over night and reorganized if for you via THEIR AI algo.
In my case it was both positive and negative.
My grandfather's first wife was Cherokee and some articles about Cherokee heritage and Carol Burnett popped up missing link style which put family history in anthropological historic perspective... totally fascinating.
But I object because such reorganization should be elective or suggestive... not imposed by the thought police on high.
Translation... a Nonsensical board for discussion of non existent "climate technology".
There will be no discussion of viable T.A. GUARANTEED BY XENA.
George MacLeod and his wife both worked with BONAR... and they learned a lot from him:

Re: George Iveagh MacLeod
Dear Ms. Clem:
In looking over the FINRA website, I was impressed with the organization’s mission statement
which reads as follows:
FINRA is dedicated to investor protection and market integrity through
effective and efficient regulation of the securities industry.
I was also impressed with the reputation for integrity that you've developed on the Investor's Hub
stock boards. This mission statement and my belief that you are seriously dedicated to fulfilling
that mission have encouraged me to write this letter regarding a very serious matter our publicly
trading company, as well as others, are experiencing.
It is my belief --and that of several stockholders, consultants, and employees of GeckoSystems--
that Mr. George MacLeod has manipulated and continues to manipulate various Pink Sheets
stocks such as ours. Our trading symbol is GOSY.
Mr. MacLeod was involved with our company's original attempt to take us public in 2006. We
terminated him in 2007 soon after realizing his activities were designed to harm and take over
GeckoSystems. This became apparent after he introduced us to Big Apple Consulting, Reed
Wallace (see SushiTrend v Reed Wallace US Court District of Nevada), a company in the UK
called ProDec (that wanted to steal our IP), and finally attempting to sell off the European rights
to our suite of technologies to John Kenneth Little for under $200,000.
We have since discovered that Mr. MacLeod's trail of stock manipulation began in Canada and
the UK with multiple operations associated with Brian Bonar, John Capezzuto and Peter
Nellemose. His career continued with Pharmessence and High Road International in Southern
California, assisted by Mr. Bonar's associate, Gerry Berg. He then moved in on SushiTrend in
Las Vegas, NV assisted by Mike Iwakata of Japan and Reed Wallace (see court filing referenced
above), Jerry Alexander and David Stocker. His next victim was our company, GeckoSystems
in Conyers, GA, introduced to the company by his SushiTrend's accomplice, Jerry Alexander.
We believe his final scam before abandoning his Florida home and hastily retreating to the UK
was with a company called Novahead in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr. MacLeod continues to operate off shore, having facilitated a LoanCheck business in the UK
which we believe to be yet another scam. From our research this business was funded by
Wakabayashi Fund in Japan. Wakabayaski's US operations are run by Janet Diller Stone and
Jeffrey Stone, both of whom have been sanctioned by the SEC. George MacLeod and his
daughter Anna Louise MacLeod ran Ascot Legal for LoanCheck. It appears to have been the
arm of the company that distributed funds. Recently MacLeod was named as a “consultant” for
Aspire (APIT) that, according to our investigations, is being promoted off shore principally; we
have been told that he was clearing around $50k per week despite the fact that there is almost no
liquidity in the US market.
These are just some of the illicit enterprises George MacLeod has been involved in, we know of
more and I am sure an investigation by FINRA will uncover additional, substantive information.
We believe that information could result in criminal RICO charges for many of those involved.
I have attached additional documentation and details known to us.
In coordination with Mr. Neil T. Wallace, (brother of above named Reed Wallace and a licensed
attorney in FL and NY), Mr. MacLeod has filed two frivolous lawsuits against GeckoSystems for
the sole purpose of exploiting that adverse publicity to depress GOSY's stock price, enabling him
and his associates to carry out massive, off shore naked shorting of GOSY stock. The second
suit filed by Mr. MacLeod was for defamation. Neil T. Wallace, using Wallace's home address,
and bearing a signature of one "George McLeod" that does not match signatures by George
MacLeod, filed it. Mr. MacLeod's legitimate signatures are on file with GeckoSystems.
In November, 2007, soon after we terminated Mr. MacLeod, one of his associates, John Kenneth
Little, filed a frivolous lawsuit against our company. It was withdrawn with no attempt to pursue
this meritless complaint. We believe that it is highly likely that Mr. Little has a buyer for
GeckoSystems robotic technologies and is still trying to drive the stock price down in an effort to
bankrupt the company and seize control.
In total, Mr. MacLeod and Mr. Wallace have acted in concert in the filing of seven lawsuits
against GeckoSystems or myself as CEO. These suits have been filed in three different states.
Each time a new suit is filed internet stock boards are inundated with false information about the
filings and dire predictions of the legal outcome in order to depress the stock price
Mr. MacLeod also seems to be in the money laundering business given his association with
numerous business entities in Asia and Europe with company names, which are strikingly similar
to companies in the US that he was involved in. GeckoSystems Europe was to have been turned
over to a US corporation but no notice of dissolution was filed until April of 2011. We are
concerned that funds from the sale of forged GeckoSystems stock or money laundering may have
occurred through that entity. An additional reason for this concern is because an investigator for
the company was told that $100,000 was wired in from Nigeria for the purpose of establishing an
“IR company” and a trading account.
Mr. MacLeod has a long time and known association with market maker BMA Securities.
GeckoSystems was referred to them as a consultant by him for our 15-c211 registration with
FINRA. They terminated their relationship with us as soon as we fired Mr. MacLeod. We know
that BMA continued their relationship with Mr. MacLeod (see the attached correspondence)
subsequent to his termination by us.
GeckoSystems also believes Mr. MacLeod has close ties with other market makers such as
Sunrise Securities Corp. (SUNR) and The Vertical Trade Group (VERT). Our company has been
inundated by calls from “consultants”, some of which have been sanctioned by the SEC and
prohibited from dealing with securities. It appears that these relationships were developed while
he was in the US and continues to be maintained since his hasty move back to the UK.
BMA Securities is of a concern at this time because in August the trading patterns were highly
irregular, as reflected in the monthly volume totals on www.otcbb.com for GOSY. The volume
done by The Vertical Trading Group is also unusual. VERT was frequently “bid sitting” during
the month which seemed unusual.
Mr. MacLeod, and/or an associated cartel, is believed to employ several parties on message
boards such as to routinely disparage Pink Sheet companies to enable
his off shore naked shorting of them to continue for months, if not years.
The aliases “ ” and " " are used on . They are infamous for their
repetitive, toxic, disingenuous bashing. We strongly believe this person is Neil Wallace and he is
working with MacLeod's group, targeting specific companies to bash and depress the stock
prices. One of those companies is JBII. FINRA or the SEC may already have an ongoing
investigation into his activity in relation to this stock.
Ms. Clem, thank you for taking the time to review this correspondence. We felt it was the right
thing to do to bring to your attention stock trading activities orchestrated by Mr. George
MacLeod which we believe are being done to the detriment of GeckoSystems as well as other
honest and ethical Pink Sheet companies.
Sincerely,
R. Martin Spencer
President/CEO

That is the white line on the graph. It dominates the picture.

BONAR's got lots of tricks up his sleeve...
Company reduces authorized shares and satisfies debt, cleaning up capitalization to lay the groundwork for anticipated growth and future success.
SAN DIEGO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 14, 2024 / Dalrada Financial Corporation (OTCQB:DFCO), ("Dalrada," "the Company"), announced today that it had filed a Form 8-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), highlighting the Company's decision to reduce its number of authorized common shares from 1 billion to 500 million.
The share reduction announcement comes just weeks after Dalrada filed another 8-K in which CEO and Founder, Brian Bonar, addressed shareholders about the major events of the past year, setting up the Company's ambitious goals for 2024 and beyond-particularly within the climate technology and healthcare sectors.
"I'm pleased to say that we've been able to form a solid foundation for Dalrada's progress and future success," according to Bonar. "Our intention is to expand upon our company wins in multiple business markets and keep that momentum going," he added.
In addition to the overall share reduction, the Company successfully converted a total of approximately $34 million in related party debt to preferred stock during fiscal year ending 2023.
Dalrada's authorized common share reduction and debt conversion to preferred stock show the Company's commitment to improving value for every shareholder while signaling the strength of its subsidiaries and core product offerings.
The most disturbing parts of the recent STTN filings:
#1) Brian Bonar paying himself $1,554,757.93 in shares for a $218,979 balance that was owed to him then writing off the payment in the books as a $218,979 stock expense.
#2) Brian Bonar issuing himself and his son a $500,000 debt Note for a group of revoked business entities.
#3) The $5,127,619 in accounts payable accrued during the 3rd quarter alone. Who is all that money owed to?
#4) STTN went from a positive balance sheet at the end of the 1st quarter to a failing business whose revenues cost more than what they make.
#5) The past connections and histories of the main players involved in STTN.
BONAR's long history is meticulously documented here, you'll find a link to the original with active links at the bottom of this rudimentary quote:

STTN some research inspired by the filing of the last 10Q on November 21, 2011
The stock started to plummet the day before the 10Q filing (maybe some insiders with advanced knowledge that the 10Q was going to be brutal decided they better start getting out early?)
-----
So what was in this 10Q?
Before we get to that a quick rundown on the events that have happened over the past few months:
-----
Starting shortly after the former Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer and founder of the company, Perry Law, tendered his resignation from his last remaining position of Director effective immediately on June 3, 2011 things have taken a very bad turn for the worse.
-----
On June 9, 2011, Brian Bonar signed a toxic financing agreement with La Jolla which included a $500,000 debenture agreement and the right for La Jolla to purchase up to $5,000,000 worth of stock at 80% below the market price. To date this agreement has not been executed.
http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=7997447
On June 15, 2011, Brian Bonar issued himself 21,897,999 shares at no cost. According to the recently filed 10Q those shares were issued for $218,979 in compensation owed. On June 15, 2011, STTN closed at $.071/share making the actual value of those shares $1,554,757.93.

On June 17, 2011, Brian Bonar issued to his Director, Owen Naccarato, 3,000,000 shares at no cost for $225,000 in compensation owed.
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/947011/000106299311002672/xslF345X03/form4.xml
On July 29, 2011, Brian Bonar and Owen Naccarato met at the Rancho Bernardo Inn and used their 24,897,999 shares to elect themselves as the new Directors for the STTN shell.
http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=8069037
On October 17, 2011, Brian Bonar brought his son, Colin Niven Bonar (aka C. Niven Bonar aka C N Bonar), into the picture by purchasing a group of companies which were all wholly owned subsidiaries of American Marine LLC, a company controlled by both Brian Bonar and C. Niven Bonar, for $50,000 and a $500,000 debt Note.

Solvis Medical Group consists of three revoked Nevada entities
Solvis Medical Inc and Solvis Medical Staffing Inc and Solvis Physical Therapy Inc all with Eric Gaer and Robert Dietrich listed as officers.
Former chairman of the Solvis Medical Group is Brian Bonar.
American Marine LLC is controlled by both Brian Bonar and C. Niven Bonar
http://www.corporationwiki.com/California/Escondido/american-marine-llc/47532519.aspx
Owen Naccarato (STTN Director) served as the legal counsel for the signed agreement between father and son.
C. Niven Bonar and Brian Bonar were previously linked with Dalrada Financial Corp (DFCO). Both C. Niven Bonar and Brian Bonar's daughter, Pauline Bonar, were initial shareholders in Dalrada Financial Corp back in 1999 while Brian Bonar was the CEO. Not so coincidentally Owen Naccarato was and still is the legal counsel for Bonar linked Delrada Financial Corp.

The Bonar, Bonar, Naccarato connections don't end there.
The three can be linked to Allegiant Professional Business Services, Inc. (APRO)
Where daddy Bonar served as a Director and president, son Bonar served as the COO, and Naccarato once against served as legal counsel:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/APRO/company-info
http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/people/people.asp?ticker=APRO:US
APRO was (I used past tense because that company is basically dead now) a PEO company just like STTN is now.
APRO even uses the same address as STTN
11838 Bernardo Plaza Ct.
Suite 240
San Diego, CA 92128
Which is in shouting distance from American Marine LLC

Suite 210
San Diego, CA 92128
And is within walking distance from Dalada Financial Corp
11956 Bernardo Plaza Drive

John Capezzuto who works with Brian Bonar with APRO also worked with Brian Bonar with scam company Warning Management Services Inc. (WNMI) which was revoked by the SEC on May 22, 2009

Legal counsel for scam company WNMI was Owen Naccarato.
Are you beginning to wonder if Brian Bonar always uses Owen Naccarato for a reason?

---------------------
I got side tracked though back to the 10Q
Then on November 21, 2011, the STTN 10Q for the 3rd quarter came out and it was ugly.
Cash on September 30, 2011 - $270,048
Cash on June 30, 2011 - $882,069
STTN lost $612,021 in cash during the 3rd quarter
Accounts payable and accrued liabilities on September 30, 2011 - $8,384,307
Accounts payable and accrued liabilities on June 30, 2011 - $3,256,689
STTN added $5,127,619 in accounts payable and accrued liabilities during the 3rd quarter
The accounts payable and accrued liabilities for the 2nd quarter was only $82,477
$5,127,619 is $2,129,070 more than STTN had in accounts payable and accrued liabilities for its entire existence from 1995 - through the 2nd quarter of 2011.
Why the $5,127,619 in accounts payable and accrued liabilities all in just a 3 month period? Who is all that money owed to?
Gross profit on September 30, 2011 (for 3rd quarter) - negative $155,177
Gross profit on June 30, 2011 (for 2nd quarter) - $1,685,183
STTN went from a profitable business to a company with a failing business. The cost of revenue for the 3rd quarter of 2011 was higher than the revenues themselves. They would have been better off not doing business in the 3rd quarter.
Subtract away the operation costs/expenses and
Overall operating loss on September 30, 2011 (for 3rd quarter) - $2,963,852
Overall operating loss on June 30, 2011 (for 2nd quarter) - $599,161
STTN's operating losses increased by $2,364,691.
During the 1st quarter of 2011 (the period ending March 31, 2011), STTN didn't have an operation loss. They had an operating gain of $363,354 after subtracting away all the costs of operations from the revenues for the quarter. It is obvious the direction that STTN is headed, and it is not good.
A further break down of the Selling, general and administrative expenses helps partially explain why STTN is headed down the toilet.
Salaries & Related Expense
1st quarter - $311,430
2nd quarter - $582,969
3rd quarter - $553,404
Consulting
1st quarter - $220,366
2nd quarter - $158,823
3rd quarter - $353,624
Commissions
1st quarter - $177,223
2nd quarter - $269,583
3rd quarter - $633,742
Outside Services
1st quarter - $31,688
2nd quarter - $62,403
3rd quarter - $211,287
Overall Selling, General, and Administrative Expenses
1st quarter - $1,272,515
2nd quarter - $1,685,183
3rd quarter - $1,997,439
Since revenues dropped by 28% from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd quarter why did commissions increase by 235% during that same stretch?
----------------
The most disturbing parts of the recent STTN filings:
DFCO keeps going down there are no "solid moves", LOL!!!
I Wonder how much BONAR has raked off of the stock scam's he's been running since the '80s?
Obviously - some posters can't see that BONAR has been running stock cons since the '80s, you have to admit there's are some Dumb BONAR BUDDIES wasting their time here,,, one in particular ;)
LOL the claim that BONAR'S penny stock DFCO will be uplisting is biggest BS I have ever heard...
How can you have a valuation with no revenues, no future no patents?

Not short Not Long, just warning newbies of POS BONAR'S long history of OTC cons - you would have to be mentally unstable to buy into this junk stock.
LOL!!! DFCO is a junk stock with no intrinsic value.
Corrupt management...
No patents...
No unique tech...
Not even a SPEC SHEET for their alleged tech.
As a CEO,BONAR's record is abysmal. Botched/missed timelines; amateur market/shareholder communications; carrot dangling that never comes to fruition; an inability to generate revenue; questionable compensation and staffing decisions etc.
Even now he's shutting down all the COVID crap that was pumped because they lost money on it all.
The recent financial move that was touted as a benefit seems to be preparation for yet another reverse split with preferred shares taking over the shell.
My read on this is that BONAR is getting ready to take the DFCO shell private....
.... AGAIN....
Please note that a share reduction is not a share buyback.

Analysis and Risk of Nanomaterials in Environmental and Food Samples
Iva Rezic, in Comprehensive Analytical Chemistry, 2012
Abstract
Engineered nanoparticles (ENPs) have found broad application in textile industry, due to their antibacterial, antimicrobial, water resistance and protective properties. Unfortunately, despite the wide dissemination and application of ENPs, their toxicity and potential harmfulness have not been thoroughly investigated and/or eliminated. Consequently, there is an urgent need for defining the most appropriate analytical methods for monitoring such particles on textiles. Several sources should be of major concern: materials treated with ENPs, wastewaters from industrial, hospital, hotel and domestic laundries, as well as the waste produced from all mentioned sources including textiles themselves. Therefore, this chapter reflects the most important applications of ENPs on textile materials and addresses all relevant sources of environmental pollution and threats to human health. In addition, the most important analytical techniques for monitoring of ENPs on textile materials and in textile wastewater samples, with the perspective of preservation of environment and human health, are presented.
A word of wisdom from another board...
"Only if you have ever tried to buy a significant number of shares would you would see it immediately. That is why you never buy a stock with low trade volume, some buy, the price rises, they tell themselves they did the right thing but it is actually them affecting the buy sell curve. They trapped themselves, they can not get out. I'd give some examples of other stocks but I don't want to hurt them."

Buy Rating Affirmed for Taysha Gene Therapies Amid Positive ...
Mar 2, 2024 — Analyst Yanan Zhu of Wells Fargo assigned a Buy rating on Taysha Gene Therapies (TSHA – Research Report), with a price target of $7.50. Ya.
According to labiotech.eu, a 450 ml bottle of trofinetide costs $9,495 in the US, excluding insurance. The 200 mg/ml dosage depends on the patient's weight, varying from 25 ml to 60 ml, twice daily, and would cost around $375,000 out-of-pocket in a year for one person. Most of this is covered by Medicaid.
According to nature.com, the average cost of gene therapy is $43,110 per unit QALY, which is several times the average annual expenditure of $16,346 for American cancer patients between 2010 and 2014.
Some FDA-approved gene therapies
have been covered by some insurance companies. Some companies developing gene therapies are exploring ways to connect the cost to how well the treatment is working.

A long road ahead for Rett syndrome treatments
While these biopharmas seem like they may be onto something, the Rett syndrome community has been let down in the past when drugs failed in the clinic. Only recently, Anavex Life Sciences’ much-awaited Rett syndrome drug failed a phase 2/3 trial. The drug, which is designed to bind to the sigma-1 receptor and reduce protein folding, did not meet statistical significance. Anavex blamed this on a high placebo effect, stating that it may have “masked the compound’s therapeutic effect,” according to a press release. However, the drugmaker isn’t giving up just yet, and is looking to further assess the drug.
Previously, Swiss multinational Novartis had also pulled the plug on its preclinical gene therapy, citing that it did not support a path towards clinical trials. And so did Newron Pharmaceuticals, which abandoned a phase 3 trial when its receptor agonist didn’t exhibit efficacy in a phase 2 study.
While curing a genetic condition has proven to be rather tough, for rare diseases like Rett syndrome, trials aren’t held often because finding people that fit the specific criteria of the trial is not easy. Plus, patient populations are widely dispersed and vary based on their symptoms, how the disease manifests itself, and what prior treatment each patient has undergone. Moreover, the limited number of patients makes it expensive to hold trials, and biopharmas end up scrapping trials altogether because of this.
Nevertheless, as ongoing trials move ahead, and more drug candidates receive orphan drug designations, there is hope for the Rett syndrome community as the much-anticipated drugs that address the root cause of the disease – the genetic mutations – gain traction.
As of July 2023, gene therapies
have been approved by the FDA for prices ranging from $65,000 to $475,000 for oncologic therapies and $630,000 to $3.5 million for nononcologic therapies. The average single treatment costs around $1 million, but the cost increases when you factor in administering costs like hospital stays, and the procedures needed to isolate and manipulate cells. Some gene therapies have cost as much as $2.8 million for a one-time injection, such as Zynteglo for a blood disorder, or $3 million for Skysona for a rare neurological disorder.
Some say that the cost could be justified if the therapy delivers a lifelong cure that saves the health care system a lot of money in the long run. The average gene therapy is likely to cost at least $1.5 million.
Some ways to deal with the high prices include: Installment payments, Risk pools and reinsurance, Price-volume and expenditure caps, and Performance-based models based on individual patients.
Friday's data does look a little strange...

It's all smoke and mirrors in the market.. AI programmed computers kicking shares around.
A lot of computerized churn today...

It's really not a conspiracy and is fully acknowledged. "As of Feb. 28, 2022, there were 64 dark pools operating in the United States, run mostly by investment banks.... "According to the CFA Institute, non-exchange trading has recently become more popular in the U.S. Estimates show that it accounted for approximately 40% of all U.S. stock trades in 2017 compared with roughly 16% in 2010.

Dark pool trading is just peer-to-peer instead of public. If I have one share of something, I can just hand it to you without reporting anything anywhere.
Dark pools are used, as has been explained multiple times in this comment chain, specifically to obfuscate transactions. They exist purely to increase opacity and make it harder for anyone not in the club.
We have a quadruple bottom...

Choosing the Best Heat Pump Manufacturer: A Pro Guide to Making an Informed Choice
Choosing the best heat pump manufacturer to work with on your project can really make a difference in the long-run.
Most heat pumps last for 15-20 years with the most durable brands reaching 25 years of operation or more. The maintenance, management, support and ownership experience of a heat pump over the years varies from brand to brand, and picking the manufacturer that suits your needs best will make all the difference.
This article doesn’t outline the most energy-efficient heat pump systems, or which brand offers the best heat pumps in the industry. We won’t compare heat pump options in specific. We will look at how you should determine the best heat pump manufacturer for your specific needs.
Heat pump brand reputation
Most well-known brands that have good reviews online are a pretty safe bet. The top brands are typically European, Japanese, Korean and American. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t any great heat pumps made in other countries, but it’s less likely to have trouble down the road with one of these – if they are commonly available in your country.
Each brand may have a reputation for leading a specific type of heat pump product. For instance, Mitsubishi dominates the cold weather heat pump market with their excellent reliability when operating in extremely low temperatures.
Heat pump manufacturer history
How long a manufacturer is in business is important. Heat pumps have been around for many years despite the technology only recently seeing increased adoption. A heat pump manufacturer with a long track record can be a solid choice compared to a relatively new manufacturer whose units have not been around enough to stand the test of time.
While we’re on the subject, TermoPlus has been manufacturing heat pumps for more than 30 years and has contributed to more than €1b in total energy savings to more than 60.000 happy customers. More importantly, many of our first heat pumps are still working even after 30 years.
A note about individual heat pump models
Each heat pump manufacturer has top, mid and lower tier product ranges. Some manufacturers treat these product ranges differently in terms of quality management, while others try to maintain a high standard for all product lines.
Sometimes you can come across a top heat pump manufacturer’s model that was a total disaster. Sometimes you can also come across a specific unit that seems to last for years despite the poor design and quality standards of the manufacturer. These are the exceptions that prove the rule.
To be safe, after you have picked the heat pump brand you want to use, it’s worth looking up individual product reviews online to make sure you don’t end up with a lemon. Going with a reputable brand will save you a lot of hassle 90% of the time.
How and where the heat pump units are manufactured
How do you know if heat pump’s long-term performance will be above average?
Components
A heat pump manufacturer that develops high quality products will use top shelf components.
For instance, Mitsubishi Electric is renowned for their legendary inverter-driven compressors. They have perfected this technology over the years and this is one of the reasons they make the most reliable air-source heat pumps.
Not only does the variable speed compressor match the heating or cooling requirement more precisely (resulting in excellent efficiency), it also reduces the current strain during start-up and produces a more stable temperature.
Copeland scroll compressors are another great example. These have fewer moving parts and exceptional sealing against leakages. They also don’t have any valves – which often fail. This contributes to significantly improved durability and efficiency. They have longer service intervals since they are not so prone to wear and tear. In addition to all of this, they use a high pressure ratio valve which reduces under compression losses, improving COP at high condensing and low evaporating conditions up to 20%. Their heating optimization and the Enhanced Vapor Injection allows efficient operation even in very cold climates.
TermoPlus heat pumps almost exclusively use Mitsubishi inverter-driven compressors for the air-source heat pumps and Copeland scroll compressors for the geothermal and commercial heat pumps.
Aside from the compressor (which is often the key determinant of a heat pump’s lifespan), high quality heat pump manufacturers pay attention to other details too.
Large surface heat exchangers (the evaporator and condenser) mean the heat pump doesn’t get overworked – contributing to a longer lifespan.
Low vibration fans are not only less noisy, they also last longer. Brushless motors in fans also last longer.
The use of Electronic eXpansion Valves (EXVs) not only offers greater efficiency compared to Thermostatic eXpansion Valves (TXVs) but they also don’t get clogged with impurities that can damage them.
Manufacture / Assembly Location
Quality assurance systems, facility conditions and component supply chains vary from country to country. Most importantly, quality control cultures and traditions vary. It is hard to challenge the expectations established over the years for the quality standards of Japanese manufacturers or the innovation and engineering precision of European manufacturers. Of course this is a biased perspective but there is some truth to it.
The country of origin for a particular heat pump unit is certainly a factor to consider. Some Chinese manufacturers for instance, have made great strides in quality and meeting quality standards. However, compared to let’s say a Japanese manufacturer with decades of tradition in quality control and innovation it is hard to dismiss the fact that Japanese heat pump brands are at the top of the quality game, and have been for ages.
Many of the top manufacturers in Europe have a long tradition in innovation and quality management.
Some specific countries have a long-standing history of expertise in producing heat pumps: Japan, the US, South Korea, Germany, Slovenia and Sweden are just some of these.
This also brings us to the next point.
Top-rated heat pump manufacturers by region
Whether your heat pump was built to an excellent standard of quality is pointless unless it is well supported in your region.
To ensure access to spare parts and manufacturer-certified engineers and technicians your best bet is to pick a brand that is well-supported in your country. As the saying goes, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
The European market is mostly a mix of European brands, with some Japanese and South Korean brands:
Mitsubishi Electric (Japan), LG Electronics (South Korea), Panasonic (Japan), Vaillant (Germany)
NIBE (Sweden), Hitachi (Japan), Samsung (South Korea), Carrier (US), Daikin (Japan), and of course, TermoPlus (Slovenia). Many new manufacturers from China are now exporting to Europe too.
The North American market is mainly saturated with US brands, with a few Japanese and European exceptions:
Carrier (US), Trane (US), Mitsubishi (Japan), Lennox (US), Rheem (US), Bryant (US), York (US), American Standard (US), Goodman (US), Daikin (Japan), Fujitsu (Japan). TermoPlus doesn’t currently have a subsidiary or official sales network in the Americas,
In Asia, the market is almost exclusively dominated by Japanese, South Korean and Chinese brands:
Mitsubishi Electric (Japan), LG Electronics (South Korea), Panasonic (Japan), Toshiba (Japan), Hitachi (Japan), Samsung (South Korea), Daikin (Japan), Gree (China), Midea Group (China), Haier (China). TermoPlus doesn’t currently have a subsidiary or official sales network in Asia.
Air conditioner manufacturers vs heat pump manufacturers
Air conditioners are technically air-to-air heat pumps that (in most cases) can heat and cool. An air conditioning system will capture and transfer heat from the outside in exactly in the same way an air to water heat pump would except that they deliver it through hot or cold air instead of radiators or underfloor heating.
Over the years many air conditioning brands moved into the production of heat pumps. That includes well-established brands such as Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Panasonic, Samsung and LG.
Despite lacking product-specific advantages in other heat pump technologies such as large commercial systems or geothermal heat pumps, they produce excellent residential and commercial air-source heat pumps.
Some technological know-how from experience in air-conditioning has transferred into heat pumps. Mitsubishi’s pioneering technological advancements in air-source heat pumps are well known across the industry. So, for air-source heat pumps in specific, choosing a manufacturer that used to be an air conditioner manufacturer in the past should not be considered a disadvantage.
Although at TermoPlus we have been manufacturing air-source and geothermal heat pumps for more than thirty years, we have adopted Mitsubishi’s external units for our air-source range. We only work with these units as we recognize that Mitsubishi is the best heat pump brand for air source heat pump external units – and is by far superior to any other.
The type of heat pump used
Each type of heating and cooling system has manufacturers that stand out in the category. That is because innovation and technological experience are to a large extent product-specific.
Air source heat pumps
There is great variation in product quality in the market for air-source heat pumps as they are the most ubiquitous type of heat pump. There are many manufacturers, many of which are relatively new to the market.
The quality of the manufactured product is a key factor that affects its lifespan. Product lifespans range widely with some lower end brands only lasting 15 or even 10 years and others on the higher end between 25 and even 30 years. The quality of the components used is a good predictor of the product’s lifespan.
Support is generally widespread but varies in responsiveness based on the service provider.
With air-source heat pumps you have more choices to pick from. It is advised that you conduct your own research to pick a manufacturer that suits your needs instead of relying on an installer to recommend the brand they work with. You should, of course, take into consideration any issues pointed out by potential installers.
In any case, it is best to get the heat pump installed by an installer experienced with that specific brand.
Geothermal heat pumps (water and ground source heat pumps)
There are fewer manufacturers of ground and water-source heat pumps as there are also fewer installations. This part of the market is not yet saturated with cheaper, less-reliable products. It is important to consider the experience of the installer with these types of heat pumps as the majority of installers work with air-source units only.
If you have limited choices, it may be best to pick the best installer you can find and go with the brand that they find most suitable – so long as it ticks all the right boxes and the installers are experienced with it.
Industrial / Commercial heat pumps
Commercial heat pumps are more complex to install and you need more experienced engineers to design the system. Especially if you wish to take advantage of applications such as heat capture, large pool heating, district heating, heat pump cascading etc.
With commercial installations you should not only consider the heat pump brand but the design and installation team that will also maintain the system in the future. It is advisable that you consider a few installer proposals and make a decision as you would for a long-term service package.
That said, if you consider working with a TermoPlus heat pump you will also get system design input from our product design engineers and the ability to get a heat pump custom-built for your needs.
Heat pump manufacturer and supplier support for customization
One of the distinct advantages offered by TermoPlus heat pumps is the support we offer for system customization. We offer engineering support directly to installers so that your heat pump installation is optimized for efficiency by design. Even if this is offered by intermediaries instead of the manufacturer directly, it is an important to be able to reach out and get the right support you need to have your installation optimized by expert engineers and HVAC system designers.
