and been very quiet of late.
Not who you're asking but I`ll post since I can give you my answer.
I invest with a larger time frame in mind. I figure when news hits it's too late and you're buying above RSI at that point and look for tech. that the "normies" are not aware of on a mass scale to try to get in long before lightning strikes, below the RSI value. Wait for news to hit, it goes above RSI from hype then I drop it for an overvalued price where I guess the market makers are dumping.
Take AMD for instance. Look at the chart. 2016 is where you should have gotten in around $2. The catalyst here was infinity architecture and 10 NM and a bunch of other factors, but this is boring and hard to understand. If you where focused here on the tech.. July 2016 after Q2 ER. This is where MSNBC and Cramer started mouthing off. Feeding frenzy occurred and its time to dump. Pain initiates for war of attrition on the bag holders lasting until april 2018 where it drops back to 10. Sept. 14 2018 is time to dump the 10's for 30 and play the game again on bag holders. What is proper RSI here? given the tech developments vs the markets booms and busts? hindsight being 20/20.

Direct link to the pics will have to work. We'll see how long those links can last. Figured we could have a look at these. Should have used a macro to show off the inner cavity of the PEEK. Excuse my photo skills. You`ll just have to trust me.
Came out of an 8 year old small breed dog. Revised to a femoral head ostectomy, due to what was blamed on loosening due to weight gain. Implant had been in place for 8 years. Posting for length of time the implant had been in place.
Noted are no sign of wear to the head. Looks polished like the day it was made. No signs of galvanic corrosion where head meets stem. Unsure of the type of metal used for hip and stem. Heavy wear in the insert. To the point of almost worn through in the position of last pics 45 degree angle. Wear was all over the insert but extreme wear occurred to the point of almost wear through in this area indicating proper placement angle of the implant? Not sure here since it came off a dog not a human. I`m guessing the wear point indicates the load bearing cite and possibly could have resulted in a squeak here if this was where ceramic on ceramic met or metal particulate if metal on metal. Silent plastic but heavy particulate production, In my opinion. Figured i'd post this in case someone besides me wanted to take a look.
Also any time something from the list like candida for instance becoming multi drug resistant or getting discovered happens. It's up to the doctor to update his mental database with the new knowledge through some yearly continuing education hour long conference he may have time to commit to if the conference can find time to discuss the revelation. A diagnostics program could be inter networked and updated daily similar to a computer anti virus that detected a new cyber threat.
Charlton Heston on the planet of the apes. if you're out there and listening I've been looking into Candida strains and figured you might be interested since I've been feeling alone as of late. We all talk about MRSA but it appears few realize the dangers of multi drug resistant candida leading to untreatable invasive candida and fungemia or the numbers. Biofilms of candida can lead to osteomyelitis and death. When was the last time a doctor took a look to link the symptoms to candida blood infection? Is it fresh on the brain to look for?
I know we've talked about SiNi impregnated catheters. Someone dismissed them as low on the list of things to worry about. Whoever that was should have a peak at Multidrug resistant candida. I know its certainly changed my mind on the outlook of SiNi doped catheters and whether there's a concern or should be adopted.
Seems like the whole thing should get turned over to an input output AI written in python. There's just too much to remember with overlapping symptoms for a doctor to hold in his brain for consistent accurate diagnosis. It ends up a crap shoot on diagnosis. Tower made the observation of surgery similar to bike mechanic. Well mechanics get a troubleshooting flow chart. Much easier to diagnose a car. Doctors are expected to memorize the entire full service manual and walk around like that on total recall. Even if I wrote a complete diagnostic flow chart it would be too large and confusing. The only way I can think of making it legible is an input out put program where the actual flow chart is hidden within the programming language and only appears in the out put when apllicable according to the input symptoms. LOL not even going to do it. That would require years of attempting to improve the system to find rejection and dismissal by the community at the end of the road.
I mean the whole thing is just completely out of touch with reality at this point. Which is better? a small pile of metal particles or a large pile of plastic? Metal on Metal costing the industry BIGLY. Sounded like a good idea at the time. Now let me warn you about bright ideas. Zimmer stock strong support!
"Sintx: We's fuxxing with wizards" should be their slogan at this point. Go ahead and delete the entire forum as off topic, you`de be right in doing so. Since the entire thing is so detached from reality it's a giant joke in the industry that thrives on great ideas like metallosis.
I post too much. Long winded. Hard to keep track of and remember. Rediheal is completely in line with Sonny and Rahaman's research into bioglass. I`ve previously posted my focus into the bioglass element and Rahaman, although not fresh on my brain. It's not a matter of pitting Rahaman/Sonny bioglass research against SiNi, it's just in line with the whole of the research.

Just pessimistic about any partnership not written in stone. Seems like Chon's is written in stone. I guess I`m also a small baby attempting to understand certain areas. What if I quant trade with a short and option. Seems like the quant losses would even out through the short and leave me with all the profit from the option. Am I miscalculating something? This area is confusing me. I`m just MAGAing SINTX and have no intention of changing my trading strategy just like to pick locks for fun and would like to factor these things. I have learned alot from where I was when I originally took position here. Never really touched this penny arena or cared about it.
K2M & Spinal Kinetics have been acquired leaving SinTx trucking along with its R&D agreement.
What causes a company to allow so many distro deals to expire and little efforts to replenish inventory?
Does this no company can accrue more than a 5% stake apply to preferred or just common? Why even write this rule? Fear an activist investor gains a foot hold and invites himself to the board of directors and shakes things up costing you your job? what do you think happens when a fund realizes there's no way to make money accruing a dominant position? I`m guessing they can make the money shorting it. If my analysis on this is correct any company that has a similar out look needs to hit the ground running towards an EPS. No one denies the stock market is not an amoral arena.
Anyone notice that CTL is arranged similar to a profitable company? that arrangement is set up to get over a hurdle of cash burn and become profitable. Sonny has good traits but navigating and understanding business is not his strong suit. He was like a small baby taking his hard knocks learning.
Why does CTL care about SINTX EPS? They should be worried about their own profitability and growth. From the hours Sintx put in with sweat and blood. This is the train analogy. Sintx is fully secured to the future of CTL as far as turning SiNi spine profitable. It's one heck of a position to out compete Osseus etc. in product quality, Just needs a proper navigator. Or conductor. or General George S Patton. This seems to be more like a war than a leisurely train ride.
I kind of figure if a company has a good trajectory or a competing edge it doesn't go up. it goes down, until a market maker accrues a dominant amount of shares. Then it goes up and the market maker attempts to leave retail holding the bag. It swings below RSI and the market maker picks it back up again and repeats the cycle of swinging upward. This way the stock price goes up but not in a straight line over it's course. In this way a no fund can accrue more than a 5% foot hold is unhealthy for share price.
The only healthy thing Sintx can do for itself is wean itself off of investment funding and take enough share of the actual in real life implant market to float the company into the future and use profitability for R&D growth. Looking at this, I could care less if SINTX has a bunch of cash on hand since it's not from running a company, besides it buys time and funds to push it toward a profitable company.
All my hopes and dreams for an EPS live with Daniel Chon. A fresh face and a fresh outlook looking to shake things up compared to the years of AMDA slowly bleeding out on the same old path. Glad Sonny cut off his fingers here. Provides incite into Sonny as a good CEO in my opinion. These two guys look like a solid team for what a company fighting the world need to do for survival.
Seems like you could dope the peek and coat the Titanium.
Another aspect is prosthetic arms. Doping the 3d printed plastic for prosthetic arms and SiNi coating the expensive metal hands. just to have antibacterial properties on your prosthetic hands. I dont see why not. I think the patents protect Sintex on this aspect.
LOL at all the Lyons.
interesting to note I can't find evidence of Blackstone medical, a private company, being officially affiliated with The Blackstone Group L.P.
However.
2007-Blackstone, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, TPG Capital and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners acquired Biomet, a medical device manufacturer for $10.9 billion.
2014-Zimmer Holdings agreed to acquire Biomet Inc. in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $13.35 billion
I have already posted articles about artificial discs leeching corrosive and wear particles into the body from micro motion
proprietary way to blend and connect the two materials, avoiding the expensive prices of injection molding. The process and product that we invented will not shed or leach like many of the companies that are working with a post process and spray on method.
and my mentor, Henry Klyce
Hmm.. Mobi vs. M6. Seems like a solid point. I`m going to have to think about that revelation considering Osseus and CTL and see where it takes me. Seems like Osseus and CTL vs. LDR and spinal kinetics may be similar enough to extract something more.
Yeah, Almost looks like Sonny could see into the future running study after study showing efficacy on products he was never seeking a 510K on since he knew it would require a full blown research trial. Then along comes a magical new clearance pathway almost tailor fit to the way he's been approaching this for ever.
As an outsider I would question that decision making over and over again until it became a "distraction". Some things look based on faith but are actually based on hidden fact. For instance sonny being from the future and knowing in the future a hidden pathway to clearance would reveal itself with 100% certainty.
actually giving this a bit more thought. Based solely on K2M being acquired by stryker. This might not hold weight considering spinal kinetics divested of "intangible" assets upon acquisition and K2M PR`d 3d printed Titanium (possibly titanium nitride coatings). Do either of these indicate cutting ties with AMDA upon acquisition?
I assume a much easier regulatory pathway to Titanium nitride coatings vs. Silicon Nitride in the old methods the FDA was using, simply using Titanium as a predicate material. I think. Not sure.
So, this may indicate either Zimmer's got this by the short hairs. The big boys won't touch SiNi. Or I`m reading too much into this and Spinal kinetics and K2M never closed down their R&D involving SiNi. The Timing is still off for PR`ing any partnerships for anyone but AMDA.

"I often find your musings distracting more than helpful"
Lou- SiNi is good.
Boston- SiNi is good and there's a Zimmer set up behind the curtain. Nice neat little package.
Smoker- SiNi is good and I am an infection that will gnaw at your brain if you attempt to listen.
I guess you're right. I`ll keep it down from now on.
I didnt make it glaringly obvious enough. It was an attempt at sarcasm. Yes there are obvious relationships between ceramtec and Zimmer. Ceramtec supplies Zimmer with Biolox Delta. Is there similarities between the surname Zimmer and Zimmermann? Does this indicate familial relation? I wasn't there when they where handing out occupational surnames vs. clan surnames to know. Nor do we know Zimmer and Zimmermann's family history to discover where they branched off.
Very similar to "but the booths are close together" Stop asking me to deny things the few of us awake are seeing with our own eyes. It's ridiculous. If you`re out there listening you people practically glow in the dark to anyone awake and paying attention. 1+1 never equals 3. Find another lemming to throw the blanket over. They`re out there. Im sure you have tons of them.
I wouldnt put much weight in anything I say. I`m not an insider. I can only speculate at possibilities of various scenarios and attempt to weigh them against each other. AKA I have no clue.
Blackstone is purely an alternative asset manager which deals in Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds and caters to only High Net worth Individuals and Financial Institutions who can commit a large amount of money and for longer period
Blackstone as being a PE & RE firm works on the philosophy of "Buy it, Fix it and Sell it". They put their effort, time and resources to make a company profitable in which they have invested.
Now, as competition is increasing both firms have started foray into each other business but being the dominant leader in their respective business it will be difficult for each of them compete in each other's arena
Not to forget the intangible asset connections. SINTX do brasil seems to be older than spinal kinetics trademark sintx, which was just handed off to the company formerly known as Amedica after spinal kinetics went under the orthofix umbrella under the Blackstone Medical Inc umbrella. Black rock owns 15 million shares of Zimmer, possibly the largest reported stake in ZBH OS.
Two, what appears to be a nolo contendere on the ownership of "Material Matter" between SINT and Ceramtec. although a private company it might be of interest the CEO of Ceramtec's surname is Zimmermann. A variant of the Germanic Zimmer. Does this indicate a relationship between Zimmer and Ceramtec? No absolutely not. Never.
If you`re looking for security you will find it through obscurity.
Looking at some of these funds. For instance one reports 300 Million share ownership of Ford on a single fund. Not a remarkable holding relative to them. Not a remarkable fund. Even at 35 million OS @ .25 seems like chump change to take this off the table. What is stopping them? Obviously mine are not for sale. Other than that. No confidence? There's a clause that states no sole entity can accrue more than a 5% stake? Really curious on who has accrued all of common. It's obviously not stuck in limbo on Wall Street.
Bloomberg seems to be the most fair and balanced vs FOX and CNN. it's a breath of fresh air every time I turn it on. Not for normies. can't find on the local cable bandwidth.
Knowing that Bloomberg had no experience in journalism, Winkler presented him with a hypothetical ethical dilemma:
"You have just published a story that says the chairman --- and I mean chairman --- of your biggest customer has taken $5 million from the corporate till. He is with his secretary at a Rio de Janeiro resort, and the secretary's spurned boyfriend calls to tip you off. You get an independent verification that the story is true. Then the phone rings. The customer's public-relations person says, 'Kill the story or we will return all the terminals we currently rent from you.'"
"What would you do?" Winkler asked.
"Go with the story," Bloomberg replied. "Our lawyers will love the fees you generate."[8]
Winkler recalls this as his "deciding moment," the time at which he became willing to help Bloomberg build his news organization.
Not sure if I should start popping champagne bottles here or check myself in on a 3 day hold. The gears look to be turning.
Our goal in focusing on older predicates is to drive sponsors to continually offer patients devices with the latest improvements and advances.
help make sure that newer devices reflect more modern technology and standards that can improve patient care and outcomes.
developing proposals to potentially sunset certain older predicates
Rather than looking to the past as a baseline for safety and effectiveness – and rely on predicate devices that are sometimes decades old as our point of comparison – our premarket review would be based on a contemporary baseline that looks to the future and a baseline that can be updated as technologies advance. Sometimes, by relying on old predicates, it can actually make it more difficult for more advanced technology to reach patients since it’s harder for an innovative product to bridge to an outdated technology reflected in a decades-old predicate.
and ensure new products can more easily reflect beneficial new advances.
We’re planning to rename this new approach the “Safety and Performance Based Pathway”
Manufacturers would be able to demonstrate that their products meet or exceed objective safety and performance criteria that are based on modern technological principles. And companies could also, for the purposes of supporting coverage decisions, more readily demonstrate to payors that their products perform better than other devices on the market.
post-market surveillance systems
Yup, I posted that.
What kind of "guy" believes they have an AI that can analyze the trajectory on this beyond a stochastic oscillation, besides maybe Bob Mercer. .25 cents looks like a product of a hands off approach until something comes in that can actually be analyzed by these toy level devices like a favorable EPS. Just throwing this out there.

On a scale of 1-10 I'm going to rate this a bigly. Possibly a happening. I don't know someone check me.
We believe that where appropriate, new medical devices that come to market under the 510(k) pathway should either account for advances in technology or demonstrate that they meet more modern safety and performance criteria.

Yeah, I mention them. I've got alot of posts. I can barely keep track of what I've posted vs. what I know vs. what I dont know. Black Rock and Blackstone. One moved across the street and can be defined as high risk low risk. If you check their portfolio(not a typo, seriously think they're still lunch buddies) They seem to be diversified in just about everything. Start connecting the dots with red yarn on anything you will eventually run into them.
The loan buddies post? about spinal kinetics transactions with orthofix and these guys? where we get the name Sintx? or did we?(sintx do brasil)? and where does K2M fit in?
leave a trail that a retail investor with google could trace the entire transaction
Well I can't find the .PDF I redropped that visualized the pile of plastic particulate vs. the smaller pile of ceramic particulate in regards to COC H1.... Yeah I don't think your body has any use for a smaller pile of Ceramicized aluminum particulate. Your body should absorb Silicon Nitride particulate and have a use for the silicon since it seems to be present in bone. That essentially eliminates particulate in a non metallosis kind of way. H1 seems to be cutting edge design. Just needs the proper material..may i say in our opinion?
What would make you feel more vindicated? Silicon Nitrides success? or AMDA merging with Zimmer? What if they keep divesting tech into companies that merge with Zimmer until SINTX is their manufacturing partner for all their silicon nitride products? just to mess with you.

CTL drops this guy cash for Licensing and rights for what appears to be a retractor. A tool to hold your back open while spinal implants are dropped in. Who else drops this guy cash for licensing and rights? Osseus. That other co. in Dallas. A lot of cash. No listed products.
Who else drops him cash? Zimmer. My guess is in relation to Zimmer acquiring LDR based on the device. What sets this spinal implant device apart? Titanium coated peek/Ti PEEK combo devices. The combination of those materials is something CTL seemed to be looking for approval on. is this Titanium plasma coating of peek? 2. prefilled as an option, an area of C+CSC. 3. Titanium tabs jammed into your spine to hold the device in place. What else did LDR have? cobalt chrome with a Ti + HA coating tech. This deal was valued at $1 billion. how did they win? emphasis in product design? consulting with spinal surgeons on design? what they want? what they want to see in a device?
who else drops him cash? SI-BONE, INC. a device I've looked at several times thinking "that would be cooler in SiNi"
https://www.anispine.com/austin-spine-surgery-team/
"received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School"
Where is UT SW medical school? DFW metroplex. where is CTL? outside of Dallas. Where is LDR and Loftus? Austin, Tx. about a 2 hour drive if you drive real fast. UT of Austin is also the major college hub.
"Zimmer has a strong presence in the Austin market through Zimmer, Zimmer Spine and Zimmer Orthobiologics"
Centerpulse Biologics, Inc. in 2003. Further, it changed its name to Zimmer Orthobiologics, Inc. in 2006. The company is based in Austin, Texas. The company pursues platform technologies, including tissue engineering and carrier technologies. It focuses on the development of implantable medical devices and biomaterials for the orthopedic and cardiovascular markets.
Zimmer Acquires Abbott Spine, Abbott Spine is based in Austin, TX, and also has operations in Bordeaux, France
"There is no Zimmer Calcitek. Zimmer acquired Centerpulse Dental, which was previously called Sulzer Dental"
I thought there was a bunch of layoffs in Austin when Biomet was acquired but cant scrape anything on it.
Dell medical school seems to be partnered with the University of Texas and based in Austin as well as the Dallas UT medical school.
"At the end of the day, we are not here to play, we are here to win and I truly do believe this portfolio is going to position us to do that"
here's the quote that seems to be in response to Sonny's statements on playing to win in the conference call.
Ok, we're cool boston. I thought it was in relationship to the 2016 timeline vs. the new adjusted timeline.
I haven't been paying attention to Zimmer. There's some kind of hostility in my brain that acts as a road block. You've been injecting things Zimmer into my Amedica. I think I`m seeing the error of my ways paying absolutely no attention to Zimmer. I think they are definitely paying attention considering the last Zimmer call seemed to include a direct rebuttal.
I consider Zimmer a road block rather than salvation up to this point. If this potential out come is the correct analysis and Zimmers metal cup and plastic liner are omitted. Zimmer can offer nothing in regards to tech to AMDA besides their clout and deep pockets.
Sonny's shot across the bow that looked to be answered. No clue why they would need further testing on established product. I think he was definitely referring to joints in regards to wear testing.
CTL is a spine sales play and looks good for dental and maybe the SiNi plated screws, in my opinion and a few other things involving spine to further the material. Who knows how deep the pockets go for FDA approval on plated screws without the predicate trials. Perhaps some other plated device? Like that hip and knee sitting there?
As far as zimmer my thoughts are are you in or are you out, because I could really care less at this point beyond it speeding up development.
However, if this is what Hanson means by "families" then perhaps he is a spartan and prefers those who are forged under fire, constantly screaming obscenities at each other.
I was reading something on your blog from AMDA that a hip might require 1-2 year trial from 2016 with no SiNi predicate. Anyway we can search this out through Zimmer on FDA trials? Also reading on your blog about Hanson talking about the low and slow approach to R&D. Talking about running wear tests then going back to the drawing board to find out why and 500 million wear passes to achieve this makes things slow. Wear passes for what? COC vs. Ceramic on poly? Word on the street is conforMIS is about to drop a hip according to this:
http://www.cafepharma.com/boards/threads/patient-matched-hip.625411/
How long was this in the FDA pipeline? According to Letters of Intent and timelines blablabla. Hip was supposed to drop 2018. Wheres the Trial? What did Hanson mean by "families". Is he bluffing trying to let on he's more relevant than what is factual? Strange industry. Most Industries would put the kabosh on merger or joint partnership rumors within 24 hours from my experience.
