CTL drops this guy cash for Licensing and rights for what appears to be a retractor. A tool to hold your back open while spinal implants are dropped in. Who else drops this guy cash for licensing and rights? Osseus. That other co. in Dallas. A lot of cash. No listed products.

Who else drops him cash? Zimmer. My guess is in relation to Zimmer acquiring LDR based on the device. What sets this spinal implant device apart? Titanium coated peek/Ti PEEK combo devices. The combination of those materials is something CTL seemed to be looking for approval on. is this Titanium plasma coating of peek? 2. prefilled as an option, an area of C+CSC. 3. Titanium tabs jammed into your spine to hold the device in place. What else did LDR have? cobalt chrome with a Ti + HA coating tech. This deal was valued at $1 billion. how did they win? emphasis in product design? consulting with spinal surgeons on design? what they want? what they want to see in a device?

who else drops him cash? SI-BONE, INC. a device I've looked at several times thinking "that would be cooler in SiNi"

"received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School"

Where is UT SW medical school? DFW metroplex. where is CTL? outside of Dallas. Where is LDR and Loftus? Austin, Tx. about a 2 hour drive if you drive real fast. UT of Austin is also the major college hub.

"Zimmer has a strong presence in the Austin market through Zimmer, Zimmer Spine and Zimmer Orthobiologics"

Centerpulse Biologics, Inc. in 2003. Further, it changed its name to Zimmer Orthobiologics, Inc. in 2006. The company is based in Austin, Texas. The company pursues platform technologies, including tissue engineering and carrier technologies. It focuses on the development of implantable medical devices and biomaterials for the orthopedic and cardiovascular markets.

Zimmer Acquires Abbott Spine, Abbott Spine is based in Austin, TX, and also has operations in Bordeaux, France

"There is no Zimmer Calcitek. Zimmer acquired Centerpulse Dental, which was previously called Sulzer Dental"

I thought there was a bunch of layoffs in Austin when Biomet was acquired but cant scrape anything on it.

Dell medical school seems to be partnered with the University of Texas and based in Austin as well as the Dallas UT medical school.
