I mean why even attend this? Hoping a ceramic enthusiast will buy an implant? 5 booths over from ceramtec? that has a wide range of ceramics and applications they can market to? So ceramtec can kick medical grade SiNi referrals 5 booths over? There has to be a plan in place otherwise these guys are just completely AWOL

As far as the drive toward 3d printing of titanium. Maxiofacial reconstruction where osseointegration and rapid custom prototyping are a key. No one is offering a material here that has built in antibacterial properties. This is just icing on the cake on the ground work that's laid down. No clue how much the annual global market adds up to here. They seem to be aware of the ideas of increased osseointegration and antibacterial material properties from what I've been reading from the talking heads of the world of maxiofacial reconstruction.
