I've just begun to take a look at NHLD. My first impression is that there may be a short as well as long term opportunity with this one.
Believe it or not, I bought shares this morning. I keep up with what my fellow bankers are researching and invest in. TY for pointing me there.
I just made a request.
SALTY take a look at the press release out on TALN this morning.
None Have a chart on SC, Please request all if you could Are they all otc?

Take a good hard look at HMPR folks. This bank is moving well and will probably get above the $2.00 level by Friday.
Take a look at IDBC, ACBC, and FSBS if you get the chance. I think their numbers are going to look pretty good for the second quarter.
Also, take a peek at SGBP. I don't think Syringa Bank will be profitable this quarter but there should be a big improvement in their 2nd quarter numbers with profits showing up during the 3rd quarter. The bank is on a very nice trajectory.
All three of my "Sleepers" are doing quite well and I think CIBH will be the star of the lot by the end of the year. I don't believe that there is any such thing as a guaranteed ten bagger but CIBH is probably as close to one as we will see. And the really great thing is, I don't think their story ends come December 31, 2013. I think come 2014 we could see CIBH pushing past the $10.00 level.
It might be time to grab a few shares of CIBH folks. I think the day of the .489 share has officially come to a screeching halt. Check out the news!
The 2nd quarter is about to come to a screeching halt and some of the banks I follow will soon be sporting some fair to impressive numbers. Look for a rise in pps for CIBH, SGBP, FSBS, IDBC, ACBC, and BCAR.
Ditto BCAR. eom
$CBMC and $NCEN looking good soon?
Keep your eyes on SGBP and FSBS folks. These two banks will soon be rising from the grave.
FMAR had another great week and look for CIBH and BCAR to soon begin following the same path.

I'm not sure that the corner has been turned yet but they are doing a great job turning it. I have been watching MOKB for a while and like it. They are now making money and another super thing is they don't owe TARP. I don't think the pps will hit a buck next week but by the same token, I would be willing to bet that a multiple buck pps is not too many months away. Were it not for planning to load more CIBH next week, I would be trying to get shares of Mission Oaks.
Salty, what do you think about Mission Oak bank ?Did last quarter turn that bank around? Mission Oaks National Bank

CTTC technology on YouTube. Pretty interesting. Chronic Paind medical device looks like it works.
I looked at it today! Should see a nice climb back up, IMO.
CTYX just woke up in a big way.
CTTC: They're slapping away at the .38's this afternoon Conix. Looks like it is headed north in a big way.
Definetly looks like a bottom being pounded out there! Will be watching on $CTTC
I agree on CTTC Conix. This could be a very big month for CTTC it the ASCO abstracts come out this week and show that a Calmare study or trial results will be presented, as expected.
ecsl been treading water....going up soon
VIGS waking up in a big way today.
$FMAR = Wicked!!! Will definitly be keeping close to $CIBH for a buy! Great job here SaltyMutt
FMAR had another great day and CIBH is picking up steam and getting ready to follow. The pps on both of these two banks is nothing compared to what they'll be at the end of the year. With both stories just beginning to unfold, there is a good opportunity for some massive profits to be made. As of this post, FMAR is at 1.69 and CIBH is at .65.
VRTY and SFIN are two sleepers that bear watching, IMO. VRTY just went through a complete corporate makeover and symbol change, so one can expect news to increase under the new symbol. SFIN's chief objective is to come current and become fully reporting with the SEC (which is expected any time now), after which its operational activity and product roll-out should ramp up rapidly.
$FMAR is doing great!
FMAR was doing some fine moving today. The pps hit 1.50 on good volume.
Assuming things keep movig like they have, I see a pps between 3.00 and 5.00 by the end of the year.
FMAR is a prime reason why folks should look seriously at "nickle banks"!

I think that you just gave yourself a very nice Christmas gift by buying shares of CIBH. Even if my target of 4.00 is wrong and your projection of 3.988 is right, I won't consider myself too much of a loser. lol
Great to have you as a fellow shareholder!!!
CIBH.. $0.60.. I also bought a few.. I think your $4.00 target is unrealistic.. Mine is $3.988.. hank
