Ford Motor (NYSE:F) is set to recall 32,160 vehicles across the United States after regulators identified a defect that could heighten the risk of accidents, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The U.S. safety agency said on Tuesday that the affected vehicles may suffer a loss of drive power, a condition that could pose a serious safety concern while driving.
NHTSA added that the issue stems from a half shaft that may not be fully seated in the primary drive unit, prompting the need for corrective action.
