Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) is pulling back 72,509 Ram vehicles in the U.S. after identifying a software fault that can cause the instrument cluster screen to shut off unexpectedly.

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration disclosed the recall on Monday, citing documentation provided by the manufacturer.

According to the filing, a software malfunction can cause the dashboard display in certain Ram trucks to go dark, leaving drivers unable to view key information about the vehicle’s status.

The automaker, which owns the Chrysler and Ram brands, has not yet specified which Ram models are included in the recall, nor has it given a timeline for when corrective work will begin.
