Shares of Soho House & Co Inc. (NYSE:SHCO) climbed more than 7% in pre-market trading on Friday after the company reported second quarter results that notably surpassed analyst forecasts, fueled by strong membership growth and enhanced operational efficiency.

The membership-based global platform posted adjusted earnings of $0.13 per share for the quarter, well above the predicted loss of $0.07 per share. Revenue hit $329.8 million, exceeding the consensus forecast of $315.54 million and marking an 8.9% year-over-year increase. Membership revenue saw a robust 15.9% rise to $118.6 million.

“Our second quarter results reflect the continued strength of the Soho House membership model and the real progress we’ve made in transforming the business,” stated Andrew Carnie, CEO of Soho House & Co. “Total revenues grew 9%, and Adjusted EBITDA was up 46%—a clear sign that our strategic priorities of enhancing member experience and improving operational efficiency are delivering results.”

The company’s member count grew 4.7% year-over-year, reaching 213,621 members. In-House revenues, which cover food, beverage, lodging, and spa services, increased by 4.1% to $132.5 million. Meanwhile, Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) rose 2% on a like-for-like basis compared to the prior year.

Adjusted EBITDA surged to $46.1 million from $31.5 million in the same period last year, pushing margins from 10% to 14%.

Soho House is currently reviewing an earlier proposal from a third-party consortium to take the company private at $9.00 per share, though the company provided no guarantees that this evaluation will lead to a deal.
