My thought on the ISO decision, for what little it may be worth, and I only have about a 2000 votable interest in IDCC (I'm primarily in calls and leaps) is that IF, and this really is a big IF, the institutional holders have a significant enough position in IDCC AND a decent anticipated holding period AND their research suggests to them that this Option request should be denied, my NO vote will support them if they vote against mgmt on this.
On the other hand, if their research indicates that the Option request should be granted OR if they just go w/ Mgmt's recommendations, then my votes aren't going to disturb anything anyway.
