When was it that she said they hadn't heard from the DMC? It can be interpreted in different ways. If she said they didn't have the decision yet, that doesn't mean they don't know (directly or indirectly) what the hold up is.
I definitely think Linda knows what the reason is. I don't put a negative spin on that. Good or bad, I just think they know.
