When Linda last spoke at the conference, the company had not yet heard from the DMC. Also, if there had been such a lapse, would the DMC not have conveyed it while okaying the trial for safety ?

Today looks like a shakedown day, but many in the sector, including big names are down. So, could be some index related selling as well. Plus, like you said, the Friday After Hours scare is back.
