IMO:IDCC has already notified its investors via its 10K filing that Nokia and Samsung are OBLIGATED to pay for 2G..The only open issue is to agree on an audited sales number..not a RATE.They even provided an estimate of the RANGE that they unilaterally estimated.They could not establish a range of DOLLARS owed..with TWO unknowns..rate and sales of infringed product.The rate is a given in the opinion of IDCC Management..

JimLur..We have achieved a ten year MILESTONE!!!..From the IDCC 2002 annual report.."We also recorded our FIRST MEASURABLE 3G royalty revenues from licensees participating in the early WCDMA deployment..IMO:ANALYST's are now capable after NOKIA and Samsung payments are actually made to MEASURE the recurring royalty stream for IDCC from future 2G and 3G sales by Nokia, Ericsson, Ericsson/Sony,Samsung, NEC,Sharp, Matsushita...These are all Public Companies with open sales records and future sales estimates..IDCC 2G and 3G royalty rates are a MEASURABLE item..and can now be calculated with a simple Forensic exercise...
