VAKSER ARRESTED, JAILED---CLAIMS HE'S A "UKRAINIAN CITIZEN"---3/17/14

TDEY Chairman EDWARD "Eddie" ISAAK VAKSER was indicted on 2/12/14 by Grand Jury for theft of property between $20,000 and $100,000. There was a warrant for his arrest all this time.

He was finally arrested on Monday (Jail Book-In #14016154).

He appeared before the Dallas County Magistrate on 3/17/14 at 9:34PM (at night) for arraignment. He refused a court appointed lawyer and said he would hire his own.

A cash/surity bond was set at $1,500. Eddie apparently didn't have it so he was "remanded to the Dallas Sheriff's Office" and presumably thrown in the slammer.

Pursuant to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations the Magistrate notified the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington DC of Eddie's claim of being a Ukrainian citizen. Eddie was born 12/28/1963. Here's his father's obituary. It doesn't say when he arrived in America. However, if it was prior to Eddie's birthday then he's unlikely to be Ukrainian.
