I guess I'm agreeing with you too, as in your original post, you yourself stated that the best thing about broadband is the ability to steal analog cable TV signals. As for agreeing with Righton, well, even a blind squirrel finds the occasional acorn. :)
It is also common knowledge that the signals come on different channels, each of which can be filtered.

I didn't order cable channels, I ordered internet access. Had I ordered cable then perhaps that would be a different story. If they want it back they can certainly have it.

Suppose you order a subscription to Playboy Magazine. The first of the month comes around and you eagerly tear open the plain brown wrapper and find not only a copy of Playboy... but also a copy of Playgirl.

You are only being billed for the Playboy, but using your logic it appears that you feel that you are now somehow obligated to pay for pictures of naked hairy men.
The logistics of mailing two different magazines in the same package are completely different than those involved in providing cable service.
