Right, which is exactly why their actions are so confusing considering they must have knowledge of future events which impact the share price. In any case they send mixed signals at best. That's why there is so much to talk about here.
I just wish management wasn't given a seemingly endless supply of options. A little investment on their part would be nice. As someone else pointed out many members of this board have more money invested in IDCC than management. Somehow it would make me feel better if management were paid salaries and incentive bonuses even if the value were the same as the options they get. At least that wouldn't send negative messages when insiders sell in mass quantities (not to mention the dilution issue).
Remember if management bought their own shares they would still benefit when the share price rises.
For the record I may be against the option plan but I am long on IDCC and know of no better stock to put my money in at this time. I have never sold a share of IDCC and have accumulated ever since hearing about the stock in 2000. Buy and hold is my plan.
