Great reading, but is this our DCVax she's writing about?

"As a result, with this unique qualities of IDO, DCs and siRNA, we orchestrated a novel intervention for immunomodulation of IDO by inhibiting with small interference RNA, called siRNA-IDO-DCvax. Proven that our DCvax created a delay and regression of tumor growth without changing the natural structure and characterization of DCs in melanoma and breast cancers in vivo."

Thanks, John. When you said you got lost in parts of it, I knew I was doomed to miss big hunks of it.

I saw "holy grail" in your post and searched on it and found this thread about Sapacitabine, a non-related drug for leukemia.

But later in the thread, a knowledgeable poster was asked about NWBO's odds. The poster wasn't enthusiastic about NWBO's approach:

"I wish NWBO had chosen one protein, one antigen, and then really cranked up the immune system to go after it. Instead they are going for a nonspecific gmish of antigens, and so I think patients will get “nonspecifically” but not spectacularly better."

Was this discussed here before? I apologize if it was. If there's a prior post about it, perhaps you could point me to it. But I would appreciate comments from anyone who feels comfortable discussing the science. TIA.
