Look at mission accomplished, WMD's, "I did not have sex with that woman"? They mean absolutely nothing in the context you are trying to connect. Sorry but it is absolutely impossible to orchestrate earnings out of thin air. Absolutely impossible to fool everyone about all segment of the economy. IMPOSSIBLE. Consumer confidence, jobs, housing data are NOT exclusively coming from this government. private institutions are telling us this. Consumer credit has once again soared. If that isn't enough to help spending than nothing will. Home prices keep going up yet you don't believe that? Easy to check.
In order to lie about massive undertakings you would need to control everyone involved. I would go the route that makes sense. No one disbelieved the crash? The debacle? The huge number of unemployed? Why would they not lie about that too. Why not pretend it never happened so we have nothing to worry about for the last 5 years? You go down a slippery slope once you try explaining away what you refuse to hear or believe.
In NYC things are going very well. Housing hitting new highs in prices, construction everywhere, bars, restaurants, high end clothing stores, movies theaters, comedy clubs, etc...
Its a matter of personal perspective. To suggest to you that Mississippi and Arkansas have the same median income and lifestyle of the North East is silly. If you live in a poor area put it in context over the last 5 years. is it better or worse than last year or the year before?
I always dismiss conspiracies unless there are some real hard evidence to the contrary. The people believe in them because they want to. it justifies their take on life. I am a realist. I deal in logic as a way to make my living. I naturally gravitate towards that in my view of the world.
