Bob, OK we can drop it, but your response is surprising:
"it's mine and Matt's site and it'll be run the way we decide it should be run" - yes, agreed, of course.
"minutae of definitions" - well, we just disagree on this. IMO, you are not acting on a real issue that is degrading your boards and your business, as well as infuriating many of your best customers.
"By your definitions, you've been more than a little bit of a "crapper" right here on this board" - I never offered any definition of a crapper. I understood the stated the purpose of this board is to discuss the TOU and operating policies, so I truly thought this was the correct forum for my passionate and serious thoughts on the TOU.
"Just accept that this site is what this site is and that we will in no way force you to put up with the negatives of it as you perceive them" - yes, of course, and hopefully, threads won't leave IHub due to the crapper issue.
Bob, your emotional response and desire to end this TOU discussion is surprising. Perhaps the truth of your personal contradiction (unwelcome posters that are allowed to continue unrestrained) and/or the deficiency in the TOU (lack of distinction between naysayers and crappers) are more than you can deal with right now.
So, as you requested, I will drop this thread on TOU issues for now. Please be aware my interest in investing my time on this topic on this board was to hopefully improve the TOU and reduce the crap that newbies and board managers have to wade through. As for me, I will happily just filter the 1-2 crappers that bother me and go back to lurking.
I certainly did not mean to annoy you, nor to waste my time, nor to drive you to that highly charged emotional response. Back to lurking.
Your friend,
