revlis, there are lots of ways to control the timing of announcements. IDCC has a policy of not announcing licensing deals until the ink dries, the checks clear, and the dust settles. This gives them a few days either way, if they wanted to orchestrate a series of announcements over the span of a week or so. Nothing illegal about it, its just the art of public relations.

Of course you realize I was just dreaming in that prior post, right?

I also had considerable Jan 20 options that expired worthless when this fantastic news was undelivered. I think this is BS. on IDCC. While I still own many shares, I'm pi$$ed that this information was not delivered in a timely manner. Any one else in this situation have any thoughts on recourse.

I don't want to start a conspiracy theory here but could it be possible that some of the insiders have been selling calls on their large stock holdings and couldn't afford to announce this on or prior to option expiry date?
