My experience with strategic alternatives is that it is the last stop before a fire sale or a flat out BK.
If there was even the slightest interest by anybody in the drug - it would have closed a deal by now. It may in fact be the plan to allow Talon to go belly up because that would put ownership of the drug and its approval in the hands of WP and Deerfield to do with what they wish.
I've lost almost all hope here for a happy ending.
