Stop and think about it for a moment...What all these articles are saying is fish oil taken in standard doses does not have much benefit...OK...Wont argue with that..cyanide in small enough doses wont kill you...All drugs have a therapeutic range. They require a minimal dose to be effective. Simply put, standard doses of DS fish oil do not provide enough EPA to effect CVDs...That just means that fish oil is not going to be a cheap alternative to Vascepa...
Topol statements are wrong when he opines on the lack of significance of dosage, a pretty fundamental error for anyone practicing clinical medicine..Adam F. has drifted into that bad realm where personal gratification overrules objectivity...not a good place for someone who calls himself a reporter..
