I don't think that the issuance of the shares per se had any effect on the price. It is the implication associated with said issuance that has captured the interest of many investors. As many here pointed out, this is a defensive posture against a potential hostile take over.
What prompted Koos to take such action??? I hope we find out soon!!!
There are sharks and vultures in the market...all waiting to gobble up an investment when it is sure to make money. These people care less about us..the genuine small investors.
So, I am glad that the Board of BMSN is making sure that predators do not buy up the common stock and then vote them out.
Giving oneself enormous voting rights is being used in other counters though not all are working for investors interest. Some CEOs are also sharks and vultures in mentality.
Hoping it really is to protect from a hostile takeover, but also presents the possibility that the A/S can be raised without our input meaning dilution can continue once O/S is maxed out.
Don't be mistaken, I am long and optimistic on BMSN, but just wanted to toss around other possibilities.
