The combination of high Trigs and low HDL is thought to be a high risk group..In REDUCE-IT there must be very careful attention paid to the effects of EPA on the various subsets of Trigs, cholesterol and inflammatory markers...
PS..The results of JELIS were IMHO, very important, because EPA showed benefits in healthy patients...something that is hard to do...
